Emma Roberts In Ulyana Sergeenko Couture – 68th National Book Awards

Summer’s love affair with gingham continued into the new season when Emma Roberts stepped onto the red carpet for the 68th National Book Awards held at Cipriani Wall Street on Wednesday (November 15) in New York City.

I was totally enamoured by the romantic nature of this Ulyana Sergeenko Fall 2017 Couture gown – yes, even with the granny panties.

With the delicate ruffles and an oversize bow which cascaded down the train, this gown made me want to put on my ‘Gone With the Wind’ DVD to relive the magic of Scarlett O’Hara’s southern belle iconic outfits.

A black Victoria Beckham ‘Mini Bow’ clutch completed this gorgeous look.

Angelina Jolie In Ulyana Sergeenko Demi-Couture – ‘The Breadwinner’ LA Premiere

Angelina Jolie attended the ‘The Breadwinner’ LA premiere on Friday (October 20) in Hollywood.

Apart from it not being the colour black, this Ulyana Sergeenko Demi Couture dress was very much within the actress’s more minimalistic, no-fuss style lane.

Yet it did maintain an ode to femininity in its quiet shaping and fluid form, with the addition of the pin and her bright pink lip a rare flourish.

Tamara Mellon nude ‘Rebel’ pumps finished the look.

Olivia Culpo In Ulyana Sergeenko Couture – 2017 Women in Power Benefit

Olivia Culpo attended the 2017 Women in Power Benefit on Wednesday (October 18) in New York City and certainly presented a powerful look.

The model-actress-presenter wore an Ulyana Sergeenko Spring 2016 Couture corset and trousers. The top’s sharply shaped neckline and gold details contrasted the softer pants.

Rather than wearing the runway boots, Olivia chose a pair of pointed-toe heels. She could have gotten away with a stronger shoe, but I appreciate the way she opted for a classic pump choosing instead to go for a dramatic beauty look with slicked-back hair and winged eyeliner.

amfAR Los Angeles 2017

A crush of stars came out for amfAR Los Angeles 2017 on Friday (October 13) in Beverly Hills, California.

Heidi Klum: At this point, I’m always prepared to be disappointed with a Heidi look, but she actually stepped up to the plate in this Ralph & Russo Fall 2017 Couture gown that was a far more modern and sophisticated form of glittery glam for her.  The look was of course styled with Lorraine Schwartz  jewels.

Dita Von Teese: Designer Ulyana Sergeenko and Dita are a perfect match, as can be seen in this Demi-Couture gown that prizes the feminine form with its provocative bustier silhouette and seductive thigh slit.

Kate Hudson: Playing to her buzz cut, Kate kept it cool and mod in this David Koma Resort 2018 gown that scintillated with mirror-like embellishment.  A Jimmy Choo ‘Cloud’ clutch completed her look.

Claire Foy In Ulyana Sergeenko Couture – ‘Breathe’ New York Special Screening

Claire Foy was back on the red carpet for the ‘Breathe’ screening in New York on Monday (October 9).

It’s fair to say that her Mugler Zurich premiere look didn’t go down well with the majority, so you’ll be happy to see her return to English Rose elegance in Ulyana Sergeenko Couture.

While the runway look is oozing sensuality, the Fall 2017 dress renders on the side of whimsical and playful on the brunette actress.

The dress did need to stand alone, so I don’t find myself being mad at the choice of simple Jimmy Choo ‘Minny’ sandals.

Ana Khouri diamond Gioconda earrings and diamond Mirian ring completed her look.

Nicole Kidman In Ulyana Sergeenko Couture – Big Little Night

Nicole Kidman spoke about her experience filming the Emmy Award winning ‘Big Little Lies’ during the ‘Big Little Night’ event to benefit Futures Without Violence on Tuesday (September 19) in San Francisco, California.

Considering the event, my first reaction is that Nicole was a tad overdressed in her Ulyana Sergeenko Fall 2017 Couture dress.

I adore seeing sexy Nicole, but I don’t believe a strapless dress with a sheer peek-a-boo bodice was the right choice for this event.

This for me was a classic case of right dress, wrong occasion.

She should’ve saved this for the Grammys or the CMAs.
