Halle Bailey & Chloe Bailey In Tracy Reese – ‘Grown-ish’ LA Premiere

Chloe and Halle Bailey, the superstar singing sisters signed to Beyonce’s label Parkwood, will star as recurring characters on the Yara Shahidi-lead series ‘Grown-ish’, so they were also at the premiere on Wednesday (December 13) in LA.

The sisters with style were both mad for plaid wearing Tracy Reese Fall 2017 suits, but it’s their accessories which grabbed my attention.

Halle opted for the Solace London Spring 2018 ‘Sutton’ envelope bag in pink, while Chloe rocked a Solace London Spring 2018 ‘Kally’ navy belt.

I have a feeling these accessories will eerk the majority, but I’m all for self expression and thinking outside the box.

However, I will say that Chloe’s navy piece feels better co-ordinated to her look.

Halle topped off her look with Stella Luna Spring 2018 ‘Eventail Sleek’ booties.

Kelly Rowland In Camilla & Tracy Reese – 5th Annual Beautycon Festival

Kelly Rowland also spent the weekend at the fifth annual Beautycon Festival in LA, where she rocked two separate looks over Days 1 and 2.

Day 1 (August 12): Even though this Asian-influenced Camilla romper was covered by its matching kimono-style robe, I still found it to be on the short side. The mix of long and short lengths also created something of an awkward bathrobe effect, too.

Day 2 (August 13): Like night and day was the difference between Kelly’s two looks, as this Tracy Reese Pre-Fall 2017 one-piece had all the effortless, cool factor I was seeking in her first ensemble. I love the way this bold print resonated on her with such strength, coupled with the edge brought in the lace-up booties and her sculptural hair.

SXSW Film Festival Weekend Roundup

The 2017 SXSW Conference and Festivals kicked off this weekend with a host of stars showcasing a more relaxed set of styles in Austin, Texas.

Charlize Theron – ‘Atomic Blonde’ premiere: The actress looked gorgeous opting for a Givenchy LBD where the fluidity of the fabric is beautifully offset by its artful draping. She completed her look with Christian Louboutin ‘Loulouboot’ booties.

Sarah Wayne Callies – ‘This Is Your Death’ premiere: If there was an all-black dress code, Sarah wasn’t buying it. Instead she presented a rainbow of colours courtesy of Tracy Reese.

Rooney Mara -‘Song to Song’ premiere: I love how the lace sleeves temper this boyish Saint Laurent look, but the best thing about this look if the how relaxed Rooney is here. SUSI Studio ‘Emerson’ brogues completed her look.

VIBES By Sports Illustrated Swimsuit 2017 Launch Festival

After the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit launch in New York City, the SI stunners were out again for the VIBES by Sports Illustrated Swimsuit 2017 Launch Festival on Friday (February 17) in Houston, Texas.

Ashley Graham: Plush velvet met peek-a-boo lines with this vibrant blue Tracy Reese body-con dress. With her bronzed pins, the Stuart Weitzman sandals were a far cry from nude, leaving me to question why wasn’t another pair of non-ankle strap shoes selected to lengthen the leg line.

Kate Upton: Speaking of legs, Kate let hers do the talking in this strapless LBD by Jonathan Simkhai that was deceptively minimal save for a few rows of tonal fringe and that thigh-high slit up the left side. I do love how she layered in a sense of old Hollywood glamour with the finger waves of her updo.

Chrissy Teigen: Between the bronzer, the wide buckle belt, and the button-accented Self-Portrait khaki skirt—not to mention the lace underskirt—there was a lot going on here. So, I’m glad she downplayed the styling with just a sleek bun, simple Stuart Weitzman sandals, and a matching Jimmy Choo clutch.

Janelle Monae In Tracy Reese & Vatanika – 2015 Gordon Parks Foundation Awards Dinner

Janelle Monae In Tracy Reese & Vatanika - 2015 Gordon Parks Foundation Awards Dinner

Janelle Monae attended the 2015 Gordon Parks Foundation Awards Dinner, hosted at Cipriani Wall Street on Tuesday (June 2) in New York City.

Still maintaining her ultra-chic caped crusader streak, she once again made an impressive statement in a bold red ensemble that mixed her signature androgynous style with plenty of power-girl edge.

She teamed her Vatanika Spring 2015 red flared silk pants with a Tracy Reese Fall 2015 ornately embroidered coat, worn in the style of a cape, black cropped top, and a black Rodo clutch.

I love how she took these separate designer pieces and created a look that was entirely her own. I would have just removed the choker necklace, as it was completely unnecessary.
