Last month whilst promoting her album in Europe, Ciara was all smiles as she made her way to Gare Du Nord train station in Paris bound for London.

Back then she was sporting that two tone coloured hair, which I really dislike, but a Topshop embellished short sleeved knitted top I really like.

I recently tried the orange version on at Topshop, Oxford Circus, but I much prefer Ciara’s, now sold out black version.

The top is available from Topshop in both orange and ivory.

Wow two celebrity previews, and an after party. Topshop are really trying to forge themselves in New York.

Jennifer Lopez was there again. This time she wore her other favourite heels, which are her Salvatore Ferragamo Spring 2009 gold platform heels.

When you’re Jennifer Lopez you can wear your leather coat to a party, and still be the hottest person in the room.

Blake Lively wore a rolled sleeve Topshop blazer, over the matching grey suede dress, with studded details around the bust.

Her look was complete with a maroon bag, and a Giuseppe Zanotti studded cap-toe heels.

I think it’s safe to say she will not be making the Best Dressed list this week.

Kate Moss continues her love affair with YSL blazers. This time it’s white.

After cutting the ribbon earlier in the day, in her now sold out self designed green gown, she wore a nude sparkling mini dress with tights and black pumps to this party.

Why the spring colours, with the moody tights and shoes? This is a very confusing look for me. Silver strappy sandals, would have worked better here imo.

Geez how many launch parties does one store opening need?

On Tuesday Topshop had the celebrity packed preview dinner, and again last night it appears the dinner was for the A listers.

You don’t get more A list than Jennifer Lopez, who arrived looking dazzling wearing a white strapless L’Wren Scott Spring 2009 jacquard dress.

Her look was complete with those Christian Louboutin multi buckle sandals, she seems to be obsessed with, and bangs that look like they need an extra inch taken off them.

Kate Moss, who makes her Topshop US debut today, wore her favourite black YSL tux jacket, a tiered minidress, black tights and YSL Trib Two heels.

Rosario Dawson was radiant in a raspberry asymmetric Monique Lhuillier Spring 2009 dress, which had a beautiful gold embellished panel, complimenting her gold Giuseppe Zanotti peep-toes.

Wearing head-to-toe black, Julia Restoin Roitfeld’s look included a black a fringed Topshop dress, with a leather jacket and studded heels.

Anna Wintour and daughter Bee Shaffer were there to support the British brand.

Bee wore a short white Alexander Wang jersey dress, with *shudders* tights and black heels, whilst her mother opted for her favourite Prada Spring 2009 snake print dress, with a maroon velvet Prada Fall 2009 coat.

Jennifer Hudson had to sing for her supper, wearing a Topshop silver sequined tunic, latex black leggings and red peep-toes.

The multi awards winning singer, entertained the guests including Marc Jacobs, and James Blunt, with her hit singles.

Kate Moss is in New York to launch her Kate Moss for Topshop Spring 2009 collection, at the opening of the first Topshop store in the US.

She will be on official duty, as she’ll be cutting the ribbon to mark stores opening tomorrow.

When she was spotted in New York earlier today, she gave us a little preview of what we can expect from her collection, wearing a £60 floral dress, under a cropped black tuxedo jacket.

As for the rest of the collection, we can expect some signature summer dresses, which is said to be inspired by vintage items Kate picked up in thrift stores, 70s hippy chic, and rock chick looks Debbie Harry would be proud of.

Prices start from £40 for a knitted vest, to £280 for a maxi dress.

Michelle Monaghan follows the bold shoulder trend with her dove grey suede jacket, which along with her statement necklace, is the main focus of her look.

Black skinny jeans, a sheer ivory blouse and black cut-out booties, complete the look.

I’m loving her wavy ‘do.

Wearing a black blouse and jeans, Emma Roberts added a dash of colour with her ivory Topshop lace beaded jacket, and matching ivory Topshop platform pumps.

She completed the look with 3 gold necklaces, including a cute nameplate necklace.

Adding a huge dose of high fashion to this event, designer Georgina Chapman arrived wearing a pink strapless Marchessa Spring 2009 dress, under a glittering black sequined jacket from her Fall 2008 collection.

A gorgeous smile, and cute satin pumps complete the look.

Every time I see Taylor Momsen she makes me chuckle. Her look is always so forced, as she continues to morph into her Gossip Girl character.

Her look included a cropped biker jacket, fishnet tights, a bubblegum pink pleated skirt -which matches her lipstick- and a statement cuff.

Model Arlenis Sosa has been one of the many faces for Topshop, when she starred in a campaign for them recently.

The gorgeous fresh faced model wore a graphic print mini dress, with her favourite black tuxedo jacket.

Emily Mortimer wears a hot pink blazer over her racy lace mini dress.

Michelle Trachtenberg’s sequined dress, is worn with a leather jacket, ankle booties and a Chanel purse.

After all the hype and the delays, British clothing retailer Topshop, will open its first US flagship store in midtown Manhattan this Thursday.

The opening coincides with Kate Moss’ new collection for the brand, which this time will include lingerie.

The Manhattan store mirrors the Oxford Circus flagship store in London, with four-levels packed full of sexy sequined dresses, feathered jackets, a variety of jeans, Freedom accessories, and shoes.

The plan is for daily deliveries and 100 new items a week, so you will keep going back, which is one of the reasons I love the London store so much.

If you don’t live in the US, you can take a look inside the store, with Sir Philip Green.

The Guardian has come up with a handy survival guide for the opening:

• Bring reinforcements, ideally two disinterested parties – one to wait in fitting-room queues while you riffle through the rails of itty-bitty Kate Moss frocks, and another to stand with arms ready to catch said frocks as you hurl them over the heads of your competitors. Fellow shoppers, that is.

• Wear layers, or leave your shame at home. Anyone lacking the aforementioned queue assistant will be in for a long, long wait for the fitting rooms. Far more efficient, then, to find a discreet corner, strip, and try on your super-skinnies in full view of the women who wish they’d thought of it first.

• Don’t be afraid to push. They’re not your friends, just a horde of Alexa Chung imitators. And if they are your friends … why did you bring them?

• The sales assistants do not exist to “assist” you. Rather, they are present to demonstrate how to wear a £10 shoelace as a headband. Nothing betrays novice Topshop status like asking for help. Don’t be that girl.

• Grab everything. Even if you’re not sure you like it – because later, when you see someone else trying on that neon leopard-print playsuit and begin to think that it might be just the thing for an ironic day at Coney Island/Central Park picnic, there’s no way you’ll be able to find it.

• To beat the crowds, shop online. It’ll leave more space for the rest of us.

The store is located on the corner of Broadway and Broome st. and opens on April 2nd at 11am.

Kate Moss will be there.
