Laura Dern In Calvin Klein by Appointment – 2018 Oscars

Laura Dern stepped out this evening (March 4) at the 2018 Oscars in Hollywood, joining Helen Mirren, Lindsey Vonn and Salma Hayek.

The ‘Star Wars: The Last Jedi’ actress is presenting at the awards and graced the red carpet in a Calvin Klein by Appointment gown.

She has an innate sense of what works with her statuesque frame and this graceful style certainly does. She looks like a regal beauty with the white ruffle on the one shoulder adding a touch of whimsy.

A metallic Calvin Klein clutch played off the angelic white fabric.

Mary J Blige In Atelier Versace – 2018 Oscars

Mary J. Blige is first person ever to earn an Oscar nomination for both an acting performance and an original song in the same film for her work in ‘Mudbound.”

Naturally, she was in attendance at the 2018 Oscars on Sunday (March 4) in Hollywood.

I love that she opted for a sultry sense of elegance in this white Atelier Versace embellished gown.

Dynamic statement diamonds were all she needed to go alongside her winning look—with her swooped-back hair offering a modern, hip spirit to this classic sexiness.

Ashley Judd In Badgley Mischka Couture – 2018 Oscars

Ashley Judd looked regal on the red carpet of the 2018 Oscars in Los Angeles on Sunday (March 4).

The actress and activist wore a custom Badgley Mischka Couture gown with Bvlgari jewelry.

This color is a total delight, and truly striking on the carpet, and the coordinating manicure and eyeshadow in shades of purple is really fun.

I do think this silhouette is a bit safe, but Ashley looks stunning, and you can’t complain about that!

Salma Hayek In Gucci – 2018 Oscars

There was no missing Salma Hayek at the 2018 Oscars on Sunday (March 4) in Hollywood, where she joined Helen Mirren, Mira Sorvino and Kelly Marie Tran.

The Mexican beauty shimmered in a high-octane Gucci gown that was dripping with embellishment.

Gucci is known for its maximalist, mix-and-match aesthetic. This pastel style presents a more unified finish because of the shine theme, but the combination of the pink paillettes and draped rhinestones across the chest is unexpected and nods to the eclecticism of the brand.

Harry Winston jewels added even more sparkle.

Was this a hit or a miss for you?

Lindsey Vonn In Christian Siriano – 2018 Oscars

Lindsey Vonn attended the 2018 Oscars in Los Angeles on Sunday (March 4).

The Olympic athlete wore a dramatic Christian Siriano Pre-Fall 2018 gown with a Prada clutch, Rolex watch and dramatic red and diamond jewelry.

One thing is for certain: Lindsey did not come to the Oscars to be a shrinking flower! I think it’s safe to say she went for ‘extra’, and it’s actually working for her so well!

The tulle, the negative space, the different fabrics–all of it works together beautifully, and is a real show-stopper. At first, I wasn’t sure what I thought about such bold jewelry with such a bold gown, but honestly, I really like how extreme it all is!

What do you think: Here for it all, or a bit too much?

Kumail Nanjiani In Ermenegildo Zegna Couture & Emily V. Gordon In J. Mendel – 2018 Oscars

‘The Big Sick’ actor/writer Kumail Nanjiani and writer Emily V. Gordon made for an elegant couple at the 2018 Oscars on Sunday (March 4) in Hollywood.

Kumail was ever so dapper in an Ermenegildo Zegna Couture tuxedo styled with Tod’s shoes and David Yurman cufflinks.

Meanwhile, Emily was glammed up in her J. Mendel gown that featured a romantic, fairy-tale effect with the sheer, ruffled layers of the skirt.

I like the old Hollywood components she introduced with her finger waves and red lip.
