2017 Grammy Awards Menswear

The 2017 Grammy Awards wasn’t without its fair share of menswear looks that ran the gamut from traditional to totally out-there.

John Legend: The singer kept it classic in a Gucci black suit, made unique by virtue of the dark rose-coloured dress shirt and matching floral-printed bow tie.

Desiigner: Like some of the girls at the Grammys, the hip hop artist also bared his chest in a luxe velvet vintage Armani suit in a rich eggplant hue styled with Jimmy Choo boots and the requisite chains.

Anderson Paak: The rapper opted for a directional Rick Owens ensemble that was monk-meets-musician.

2017 Grammy Awards Artists Second Looks

For the 2017 Grammy Awards on Sunday (February 12) in LA, some stars didn’t only rock one look. It was a double feature—a triple feature for a few—with quick changes all night long.

Celine Dion: Don’t let the side view of this Mugler Pre-Fall 2017 black gown fool you. It was still slit way up to there, as presented in the look book, showing off some major leg as the music icon took the stage to present the award for Song of the Year.

Katy Perry In Tom Ford – 2017 Grammy Awards

Katy Perry gave everyone something to talk about at the 2017 Grammy Awards on Sunday (February 12).

The singer wore a look from Tom Ford’s Fall 2016 runway collection and various ring stacks.

Against my better judgement, I don’t hate this look! It is definitely a lot to pull off, but it’s fun and quirky, and if anyone can do it, it’s Katy. So I’m going to ignore the slightly problematic proportions and just get onto the love!

If any red carpet should be about fun and expression, it’s the Grammy’s, and Katy is embracing both with this look. I mean, how can you not have fun in chin-to-toe sequins and ombré feathers?

Plus, her messy, newly platinum ‘do is completely fierce, and makeup is impeccable, to boot.

Amy Adams In Tom Ford – 2017 BAFTAs

Amy Adams struck all the right fashion notes at the 2017 BAFTAs on Sunday (February 12) in London, England.

The ‘Arrival’ Leading Actress nominee stole the show in this Tom Ford dress. Its simplicity is the very thing that makes it such a brilliant gown, that and the fact that Amy should never wear another colour other than this bottle green ever again!

The tonal contrast of the dress fabric and the velvet trim makes it look super luxurious, and the scoop back, and the bow detail, just add more incredible chicness to this look.

The matching green jewels, by David Webb, are the perfect accessories.

This is how to do Leading Actress glamour!

I really wanted more from Tracee. She’s always been a fan of colour, so this felt a bit drab.

Amy Adams In Dolce & Gabbana & Tom Ford – BAFTA Tea Party & 2017 Golden Globe Awards

Amy Adams made an appearance at the BAFTA Tea Party at the Four Seasons Hotel on January 7 before attending the 2017 Golden Globe Awards at The Beverly Hilton Hotel on January 8, where she was nominated for Best Actress for her role in ‘Arrival.’

BAFTA Tea Party: The actress wore a sophisticated twist on an LBD by Dolce & Gabbana that featured the added impact of a sheer lace inset neckline. I applaud her skipping the standard black pump, but the baby-pink version has left me in limbo as to what to make of them. They wouldn’t have been my first or second choice as they almost looked white.

Golden Globe Awards: Perhaps she was channeling her sci-fi film, ‘Arrival,’ with this dark-sequined Tom Ford gown which had somewhat of a futuristic touch in the sculpted bodice and slinky, reflective silhouette.

Billboard Women in Music Luncheon

Billboard Women in Music Luncheon2

The Billboard Women in Music Luncheon was hosted on Friday (December 11) in New York City, where the blue carpet saw a range of outfits—from conservative to, well, a bit on the crazier side.

Ciara: Sexiness was on Ciara’s dish du jour, as she served up a sultry, rock goddess vibe in a Versus Versace Spring 2016 asymmetrical gown with harness-inspired detailing.

Lady Gaga: The very definition of a fashion tragedy, this Kay Goss Spring 2016 satin two-piece simply looks unsophisticated—especially when styled with Gaga’s bleach-blonde, messy locks that were clearly inspired by Courtney Love. Mother Monster can do so much better.
