Red Carpet Fashion Awards

Pixie Lott was recently spotted leaving the Hard Rock Cafe in London after performing songs from her debut album “Turn It Up”.

She sported a black headband, tights and a black Tibi floral origami dress.

I love the floral origami cut-outs and appliqués which add so much texture to this look.

The dress is from the Spring 2010 collection, but we didn’t see it worn by a model. The designer Amy Smilovic, took her bow wearing this beautifully textured dress.

Pixie made her look funky by adding black and white glittery eye make-up to match her dress.

At the Tibi Fall 2010 presentation during New York Fashion Week, I was busy wondering which pieces I would want to wear from this collection next year.

Olivia Palermo (current girl crush) was also at the same presentation, but she was picking out what she wanted to wear this week.

The lucky girl has been seen during London Fashion Week wearing some key pieces from the Tibi Fall 2010 collection.

She was first spotted wearing a white Tibi pussy bow blouse and Tibi check shorts when she attended the Christopher Kane Fall 2010 presentation.

I love this photo taken by Vanessa Jackman. It’s such a cute look and it’s so well put together.

Whilst some celebs are copying head-to-toe runway looks, Olivia is thinking outside the box.

Many websites have said that Olivia wore Burberry to the Burberry Prorsum Fall 2010 presentation, but she actually wore looks from Tibi Fall 2010 collection again.

This time she wore a aubergine paillette beaded zip front jacket paired with a leather skirt.

The look was paired with her (or should I say Alexa Chung’s) Mulberry Alexa bag.

At the Topshop Unique Fall 2010 presentation in London on Saturday, Olivia wore a Topshop Graffiti multi print mini dress by Unique.

She paired her dress with a khaki printed jacket, which shouldn’t work as it has a clashing print, but I really like this look.

All 3 looks are adorable, even though she paired them all with tights.

If you had to pick one look to put up for BDOTW, which would it be?

Kristen Bell gave us a twirl in her Tibi Spring 2010 dress.

Many of you have wished that celebrities would not wear so many Spring 2010 looks on the red carpet just yet, but this black and white dress could just as easily be a Fall 2009 dress.

I love the print, and the low back which Kristen was only too happy to so show off  for the cameras.

Black patent Louboutin’s complete the look.

Lauren Conrad wore a very short pink dress.

The length is very unlike her, but I love it – especially the rose shimmering colour.

Her dress is paired with some killer Topshop Ritz cross over mesh sandals and a black Joie Arietta sequin blazer.

I really love this look.

I bet she is satisfaction to know viewing figures are down on “The Hills” since she left.

Lauren Bosworth unlike Heidi Montag doesn’t blow all her money on big designer labels.

The star is a huge fan of high-street clothes, which is why she is wearing a French Connection LBD.

Love the dress, not so crazy about those ankle boots.

Stephanie Pratt sparkled in a black sequined dress whilst posing in her YSL Divine heels.

These heels are very much a celebrity favourite.

Tibi Spring 2010

The second Arlenis Sosa stepped on the runway wearing a beautiful white dress with a floral print at the Tibi Spring 2010 show with Guns and Roses “Sweet Child Of Mine” blaring in the background, I knew I was going to love this collection – and I did.

Designer Amy Smilovic always give us something fresh, eye-catching, and youthful.

Her inspiration for spring was ‘Great Expectations’, set in the early ’90s and starring Supermodels.

I didn’t quite get the supermodel reference until I saw the show notes with each piece given a supermodels name, for example the Evangelista mini skirt.

We were presented with minis dresses, silk tops, bubble skirts, shorts, cropped pants and maxi dresses in both floral prints and brand’s signature hummingbird print.

There was a gasp in my area when the final pink gown with spaghetti straps and rosette details on the bodice came down the runway. It’s was so pretty and looks silky and velvety soft.

Tibi’s spring collection was simple and wearable, but elegant and incredibly pretty. The bold colours and bright prints added to the dimensions of the clean silhouettes, suitable for all women. Cute without being sickly sweet.

I loved that the models smiled through-out this presentation. Something I didn’t see much of during fashion week, and I loved the coral eye shadow.

The front row included Olivia Palermo and more reality TV show housewives.

After what seemed like forever in the waiting, the X Factor was finally back on our screens this weekend in the UK and I already have two favourites.

Stacey Soloman from Dagenham who has an angelic ‘singing’ voice, and Danyl Johnson the school teacher who gave me goosebumps.

My other favourite was of course Cheryl Cole, who promised that she will not cry as much this season.

Watching the X Factor I was able to pick out Cheryl wearing her Tibi bow fronted skirt, and her cute 3.1 Phillip Lim playsuit from candids we has seen recently.

I also spotted was Cheryl wearing a Tibi Lolipop shift dress.  This dress is a perfect summer dress with its vivid multi-colours.

I loved this dress, but I wasn’t so crazy about her hairstyle.

Her dress is available to purchase from Net-A-Porter’s US site for $340, or the Net-A-Porter International site for £260.

Leighton Meester and Jessica Szohr’s character’s couldn’t be more different when it comes to their style.

Leighton character ‘Blair’ is a typical Upper East side princess who wears twin sets and pearls, whilst Jessica’s character ‘Vanessa’ has more of a boho vibe.

What they had in common during filming yesterday were Amy Smilovic’s casually chic Tibi dresses.

Leighton wore a beautiful mustard silk dress with zig zag black contrast beading along the drop waist.

I love how she teams her dress with a black beaded necklace.

This picture was taken between takes as Leighton was seen wearing flip flops for comfort.

Her dress has recently been added to the virtual shelves of Net-A-Porter’s US site for $595, or the Net-A-Porter international site for £550/€608.

Jessica Szohr’s character Vanessa was on set wearing something typically ethnic inspired.

Blair would be caught dead in this contrast print Tibi strapless dress with a bright pink colour-block panel down one side. But it’s just the right look for Vanessa, who teams her dress with tan studded heels.

Her Tibi dress can be purchase from Shopbop for $365.

If you prefer the contrast panel to be blue, you can purchase this from Net-A-Porter US for $365, or Net-A-Porter international for £280/€429.52.
