Red Carpet Fashion Awards

Ashley Olsen attended The PreCognito Gala and Preview at the Santa Monica Museum of Art in California on Thursday.

The designer wore a chic The Row ‘Fessing’ wool coat from the Fall 2011 collection.

Usually I’m not a fan of the Olsens doing the ‘oversized’ look, but on this occasion I do love this cosy camel coat which features notched wide lapels and lightly padded shoulders.

Ashley paired her camel coat with a black turtleneck sweater, black leather skinny pants and a white scarf.

Black pointy-toe Manolo Blahnik slingbacks and a bag from The Row completed her look.

‘Silent House’ star Elizabeth Olsen was spotted leaving Sirius Radio studios yesterday afternoon in New York City.

Elizabeth has been disappointing of late on the red carpet, as she has been wearing looks that have aged her; this is surprising considering she shares Kate Bosworth’s stylist.

On this occasion she fared better, wearing a Pre-Fall 2012 suit by The Row.

Her terracotta velvet pant suit was teamed with a white dress shirt, Jimmy Choo ‘Lewis’ snakeskin pumps and a black Chloe ‘Angie’ bag.

Elizabeth & James shades completed her look.

Do you see this as an improvement?

Elizabeth Olsen attended the Atlantic Theatre Company’s Spring Gala at Chelsea Piers in New York City earlier this week, for the presentation of ‘Bring It On Home’.

The actress wore a navy dress by The Row which she teamed with an embellished Chanel boucle blazer.

Navy Chanel Spring 2012 heels completed the look.

There is not a single thing I like about this look.

First the whole ensemble ages her about 30 years. The colours are just so dull, the jacket is too big and I’m wondering what has happened to the mojo she had when she first came on the scene.

Black winter Fall coats are making for chic street-style wear at the moment.

First we had Elizabeth Banks, now Rachel McAdams.

The actress is London to promote her latest movie, ‘The Vow’.

She looked very chic wearing a Fall 2011 coat by The Row over a black mini dress with a leather Peter Pan collar whilst leaving BBC Radio 1 yesterday afternoon.

The standout piece of her look were her Brian Atwood nude-and-black ‘Grace’ ankle-strap pumps with a ruffle piece going down the heel.

Rooney Mara had two amazing looks this week, but you went crowned her Givenchy Couture gown the best of the week.

It was a vast improvement from her Calvin Klein look from the 2011 CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Awards.

I had a much tougher decision. I narrowed it down to three: Rooney in Givenchy, Taylor in Reem before finally going with Jennifer Lopez wearing a mustard coat from The Row and white Milly pants.

As I said in the original post, I would wear this head-to-toe look if money was no option.

She looked achingly hot, chic and sophisticated.

I love her when she’s on this type of form as I’ve never been a fan of those nude embellished jumpsuits she seems to love.
