Zoe Kravitz In The Row & Sies Marjan – ‘Gemini’ New York Premiere & Out In New York City

Zoe Kravitz attended the BAMcinemaFest 2017 Opening Night premiere of ‘Gemini’ on Wednesday (June 14) in New York City before heading to the ‘Good Morning America’ studios the next day.

Opening Night Premiere: There’s nothing particularly revolutionary about a ruched dress, but Zoe still managed to bring her cool-girl edge to this one by The Row.

‘Good Morning America’: We don’t normally equate Zoe with a softer, more demure pink palette, but she made sure this Sies Marjan Spring 2017 criss-cross dress didn’t get too precious by pairing it with statement sunnies and a bold, goldenrod-hued bag from The Row. All those creases were intentional, which only further kept any chance at perfect pink prissiness at bay.

Models @ The 2017 CFDA Fashion Awards

It was all cheekbones and centre-partings as models descended on the 2017 CFDA Fashion Awards on Monday (June 5) in New York City.

Bella Hadid: The model is a fan of flashing flesh but kept it sophisticated in this blazer-style dress from Off-White Fall 2017. Top marks for the flared sleeves and retro full fringe. We’ll ignore the pale pink lunch bag style clutch.

Maye Musk: I do love the humour and personality in this Rosie Assoulin Spring 2017 dress. It’s unashamedly extroverted and doesn’t apologise for its bling accessories courtesy of Atelier Swarovski Fine Jewelry.

Karen Elson: Ah, red and green a hallowed combination that almost never goes wrong. Unfortunately, the tried and tested combo falls short here. The Anna Sui Fall 2017 dress is a confusing array of frills, draping, and puff sleeves. Combined with heavy shoes, this look is overwhelmingly bad.

Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen in The Row – 2017 CFDA Fashion Awards

Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen were in New York City on Monday (June 5) to attend the 2017 CFDA Fashion Awards, where they were nominated for Womenswear Designer of the Year and Accessories Designer of the Year.

Fittingly they both wore their line, The Row. Ashley wore a sweeping black button-down coat whilst Mary-Kate opted for an over-sized shirt, pant combo.

Sticking with their classic colour palette of neutrals and black and white, the fashionistas showed just how far they’ve come. Gone are the days of bohemian overload, the girls have refined their style and given it a luxe edge.

Whilst I wasn’t convinced by Ashley’s formless coat/dress, Mary-Kate’s look was utterly chic. The oversized menswear-inspired shirt, with exaggerated cuffs, looked crisp when paired with wide-leg navy pants.

I loved Ashley’s wine-coloured clutch, but Mary-Kate’s was uninspired.

Their other styling choices were better. Beachy undone waves looked feminine and effortless; a beautiful contrast with their masculine looks.

Panthere De Cartier Party

There were many stars to watch at the Panthere De Cartier Party in LA on Friday (May 5), which celebrated the relaunch of the Panthere timepiece.

Ashley Madekwe: There was something breathtaking about the fluidity of form in this Halston Heritage ensemble, which was chic minimalism at its finest.

Dakota Johnson: It doesn’t get more timeless than an LBD, especially this ladylike version from the Shaina Mote Spring 2017 collection, sophisticatedly styled with a J.W. Anderson ‘Pierce’ bag, Cartier watch, and Gucci sandals.

Sienna Miller: Also in a minimalist and monochromatic mood, Sienna wore a flowing silk champagne ensemble from The Row styled with Christian Louboutin ‘Marchavekel’ sandals and a Tod’s clutch. With the slip-inspired top and loose pants, some might see elegant PJs, but it was still an effortlessly beautiful look.

Dakota Johnson In The Row – ‘The Hollywood Reporter’ & Jimmy Choo Stylist Dinner In LA

The Hollywood Reporter and Jimmy Choo’s Power Stylists dinner was on Tuesday (March 14) in LA, and Dakota Johnson was also naturally part of the stylish affair.

The actress has been keeping us on our toes lately with a variety of looks, and this red suede ensemble by The Row was no different.

The Asian influence of the tunic and pants was emboldened by her bright gold handbag and slipper wedges in an eggplant hue that was a strange match with the crimson.

Ironically enough for this Power Stylists event, methinks the styling of this look was what brought it down.
