Laura Harrier In The Row – amfAR Gala Cannes 2018

After wearing Louis Vuitton exclusively during Cannes Film Festival on the red carpet, Laura Harrier switch things up on Thursday (May 17), for amfAR Cannes Gala held at Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc in Cap d’Antibes, France.

The actress wore a dress from The Row styled with Bulgari jewels.

I’m sure you’ll agree that a gorgeous as this dress is, it looks better from the back.

I think some adjustments had been made to prevent side boob and as a result the bodice doesn’t flow so well.

Greta Gerwig In The Row – 2018 Met Gala

Greta Gerwig attended the 2018 Met Gala on Monday (May 7) in New York City.

Even with the oversized proportions of this voluminous ball gown by The Row, it wasn’t hard to see the nun-inspired connotations in the black-and-white robe silhouette.

However, to avoid getting too nun-like, she stuck with a subtle tiara instead of the traditional headdress.

Tiffany & Co. Paper Flowers Event And Believe In Dreams Campaign Launch Red Carpet Roundup

The Tiffany & Co. Paper Flowers event and Believe In Dreams campaign launch on Thursday (May 3) in New York City was positively brimming with beautiful fashion moments. Attendees joined Sarah PaulsonGreta GerwigZendaya Coleman and Elle Fanning.

Hailey Baldwin: The model showed a softer side in Ellery Fall 2018. This was a nice change of pace from her typical on-trend style. There’s a magical quality from the prismatic fabric, silver shoes and pared-back styling.

Yara Shahidi: The ‘Grown-ish’ actress looked elegant in Prada. Given some of the high impact looks, I expected more drama from her. This still oozes sophistication, but I would have loved to see her in something head-turning like her Marie Claire’s 5th Annual ‘Fresh Faces’ look.

Naomi Campbell: Combining a whimsical white coat with a sultry dress, she most definitely made a statement in Sukeina Fall 2018. The juxtaposition of the angelic frills with the sensual dress is dynamic and her unique interpretation of whimsy. Some might find it jarring, but it did succeed in commanding attention.

Miscast 2018 Honors Laurie Metcalf

Lovely ladies stepped out at Miscast 2018 to honor Laurie Metcalf on Monday (March 26) in New York City.

Greta Gerwig: In The Row, the ‘Lady Bird’ director embraced the clean, minimalist lines of suiting. The masculine air of the sharp-shouldered style was tempered with the nipped waist and her decision to style it sans shirt. Her clutch and shoes added shine.

Laurie Metcalf: There will no doubt be comparisons between the two looks given their similarities. The lady of the hour opted for a more formfitting style with skinny trousers and a two-button jacket. She could have used the opportunity to wear something dramatic, but didn’t. Some might consider it a missed opportunity, but there’s something inviting about the pared-black style.

Lupita Nyong’o In Kevin Mayes & Danai Gurira In The Row – ‘Black Panther’ Johannesburg Premiere

As the ‘Black Panther’ promo tour marched along, Lupita Nyong’o and Danai Gurira were both in attendance at the Johannesburg premiere on Friday (February 16)—both in looks that vibrantly reflected the heritage of their South Africa setting.

Lupita Nyong’o: The fiery hue of this Kevin Mayes design, not to mention the gold embroidered cutouts, were so striking, as Lupita returned to the bold colours we know and love. More allure came by virtue of the hip-high dual front slits—more visible in movement—an intriguing counterpoint to the sweeping nature of the skirt.

Danai Gurira: The statement piece of this loose and languid navy gown was the bold, textural neck piece as well as her cuffs that added such a relevant flourish to the simple halter design.

2018 BAFTA Awards Red Carpet Roundup

Black gowns dominated the 2018 BAFTAs on Sunday (February 18) at the Royal Albert Hall in London, England, but the red carpet was by no means boring with celebrities showing their support for the Time’s Up movement in a wide array of striking looks.

Letitia Wright: Showing a darker side of Gucci, the ‘Black Panther’ actress, who was one of the presenters on the night, looks charming in a belted dress. The bug-like embroidery perks up the black velvet base. Some have remarked how the brands looks sometimes suffer from too many details, but this one has the balance right.

Sally Hawkins: The Best Actress in a Leading Role nominee for ‘The Shape of Water’, shone in a Ralph & Russo gown. This is a more sensual look for her with the slashes in the bodice revealing a coquettish hint of skin. I wish she played into the theme more with romantic wavy hair.

Anya Taylor-Joy: Last year’s Rising Star Award nominee embraced the sexy glamour of Dolce & Gabbana in a black lace dress and golden crown. I can already hear the chants of people wishing the skirt was lined, and I must agree.
