Lily Collins In Helmut Lang & Thakoon Addition – Extra!

Lily Collins made an appearance on the show ‘Extra!’ at The Grove in LA on Wednesday.

The young actress wore a Helmut Lang Spring 2013 blazer with Thakoon Addition leather shorts, a Loeffler Randall ‘Lock’ clutch, EF Collection earrings and a Givenchy necklace.

While the look is polished and sophisticated, Lily was careful not to let it read too old by leaving her hair down in loose waves.

The addition of the leather shorts and bright red bag also keep the sophisticated blazer fresh and young.

I really love Lily’s fashion choices, and this one is no different. Do you agree? Is this look a win in your opinion?

Diane Kruger In Thakoon – ‘The Host’ LA Premiere

Diane Kruger took to the red carpet for the LA premiere of ‘The Host’, held at the ArcLight Cinemas Cinerama Dome in Hollywood, California yesterday evening.

She wore a daring Thakoon Fall 2013 black sleeveless dress with floral appliqués and a dandelion print.

While the dress shows off more than a little side boob, I think this was a risk that paid off.

She looked sexy, which isn’t a word I have often used when describing a look worn by Diane.

Adding a sci-fi touch to her look, she worked a metallic-silver manicure, two-tone Jimmy Choo ‘Malika’ booties and Stephen Webster ‘Firework’ white-diamond earrings.

Less is always more when it comes to Diane’s beauty regimen. A side-parted do, luscious lashes and a pink lip colour completed her look.

Lena Dunham In Thakoon – 2013 DGA Awards

‘Girls’ millennial director/actress Lena Dunham is definitely having her time in the popularity spotlight; she walked another red carpet and picked up another trophy at last night’s 2013 Directors Guild of America Awards, hosted at The Ray Dolby Ballroom at Hollywood & Highland in Los Angeles, California.

I just wish she was dressing better for the occasion.

Although she wore a custom Thakoon, the fit of the strapless satin creation was unkempt and daresay sloppy. And the sash-like appendage in the back was just strange.

While it was nice to see Lena in a bright hue and the frock embraced spring’s obsession with color blocking, the cloying magenta and red hues clashed.

Or maybe I was just too blinded by the poor fit, or those distracting tattoos, or even the nude Jimmy Choo ‘Crown’ peep-toes that were a boring-at-best afterthought.

Perhaps some jewelry may have helped make this a better equation.

Alexa Chung In Thakoon – 2012 CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Awards

Alexa Chung joined a host of celebs who walked the red carpet at Center 548 last night for the 2012 CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Awards in New York City.

Once again I find myself liking an Alexa Chung look – I must be coming down with something.

Like Cody Horn, Alexa also selected a look from the Thakoon Spring 2013 collection.

She wore a light blue floral knit pullover with a white chiffon layered shirt dress featuring clear paillettes which covered the skirt.

I think what I like most about this look, apart from the effort she made on styling her hair, are the pops of red via her lips and Tabitha Simmons ‘Ruby’ bow-accented ankle strap heels.

A Louis Vuitton clutch completed her look.

Cody Horn In Thakoon – 2012 CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Awards

Cody Horn looked stunning on the red carpet for the 2012 CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Awards held in New York City yesterday evening.

Giving Mary Elizabeth Winstead a run for her money when it comes to Best Newcomer for 2012, the ‘Magic Mike’ actress delights wearing a summery Thakoon Spring 2013 dress.

This printed A-line birdcage dress, featuring a contrasting yellow criss-cross halterneck, is quite a tricky piece to pull off, but Cody does with ease.

Not leaving it to the dress to do all the work, the actress applied a punchy pink lip colour and champagne-coloured Thakoon by Laurence Dacade sandals from the Spring 2013 collection to her look.

There is not a single thing I don’t like about this look. I love it from H-2-T.

Christina Ricci In Thakoon – Harry Winston Dinner For Jessica Chastain

Christina Ricci attended Harry Winston private dinner party for Jessica Chastain in New York City on Monday evening.

The beautiful actress wore a Thakoon Fall 2012 dress for the occasion.

Aside from the vivid pink hue, I love the animal print Thakoon pumps Christina wore with her wraparound halter neck dress, which already had bit of sass to it via the plunging neckline.

Harry Winston jewels including a tennis bracelet and dangling earrings accessorized her look with a simple bun with sweeping bangs providing the finishing touches.
