Beyonce Knowles demurely steps into Spring in Temperley London

If I was to create a cloud bubble of your comments on Beyonce Knowles’ Wearable Art Gala post, the word that would stand out is; tacky, so you’ll be delighted to see Bey is stepping into spring with a demure look.

The singer’s latest Instagram post sees her working an Temperley London ‘Starling’ dress – embellished with flying birds, each one decorated with pearlescent sequins and silver beads – which features a high neckline, long sleeves, and a ruffled bodice.

Queen Bey of course added some bling to the look courtesy of her favourite jeweler Lorraine Schwartz, plus Tom Ford sheer crystal sling back pumps.

Some ladylike charm was further imbued via her Delvaux bag topped with a fluffy fur charm.

I will say that the bracelets were a tad overkill, as I thought the deep berry lip sufficed in bringing an edge to the look.

You may remember that Olivia Culpo wore this look last year.

Empire Awards 2018 Red Carpet Roundup

More ladies joined Vanessa Kirby, Anya Taylor-Joy, and Daisy Ridley for the Empire Awards on Sunday (March 18) in London.

Amma Asante: This plunging Maria Lucia Hohan silhouette may be familiar, but the pale, rose-gold hue was still lovely on Amma. The playful flirtation of her heart pumps was fun, but I could have seen the flowing dress styled more softly with metallic accessories and a nude lip.

Hayley Squires: As for Hayley, I think she could have introduced a bolder red lip to complement this striking, mirror-embellished Temperley London Spring 2018 dress. A bit shorter length would have also helped bring it all together.

Mindy Kaling In Temperley London – ‘A Wrinkle In Time’ London Premiere

Mindy Kaling joined her co-stars Storm Reid and Reese Witherspoon in London this evening (March 13) for the European premiere of ‘A Wrinkle In Time’.

The actress wore a Temperley London Resort 2018 magical organza gown inspired by love potions and alchemist’s bottles.

I love how the mystical embroidery and tulle overlay possesses a certain whimsy charm, which is perfectly on theme for the Disney movie.

Amping up the glamorous nature of this look with diamond and ruby Ara Vartanian earrings, which complemented her ruby red sandals, Mindy presented a show-stopping red carpet look.

The BRIT Awards 2018 Red Carpet Roundup

Long, short, and everything in between, the eclectic looks marched on with so many more stars in attendance at The Brit Awards 2018 on Wednesday (February 21) in London.

Jennifer Hudson: I loved the sizzling hue of this red-hot Ralph Lauren gown, but not the fit. The patent-plasticized look would have been all shine had the silhouette been sleeker without the awkward folds.

Adwoa Aboah: Rita Ora wasn’t the only one in feathers, as Adwoa also took a flight of fancy with this Sonia Rykiel white dress. The model’s directional looks can sometimes be a tough sell, so I like the pristine romance she presented here with Jimmy Choo ‘Minny’ sandals and a Time’s Up rose to complete the picture.

Maya Jama: Given this House of Holland mini was a custom piece, I expected an impeccable fit and the pink metallic number delivered. She complemented its flirty, girlish side with Sophia Webster embellished sandals. But, I would have left the diamond choker at home.

Joely Richardson In Temperley London – ‘Red Sparrow’ London Premiere

Joely Richardson struck a pose at the ‘Red Sparrow’ London premiere on Monday (February 19), joining Tallia Storm and Jennifer Lawrence.

The English actress played into the red theme with a Temperley London Resort 2018 dress.

The style gave floral prints an unconventional treatment as it was flecked with red and gold flowers inspired by antique scientific drawings.

The look was previously worn by Bellamy Young, but the former ‘Nip/Tuck’ actress made it her own by contrasting the feminine overtones of the style with a sculptural Roksanda ‘Eartha’ bag.

EE British Academy Film Awards Nominees Party Red Carpet Roundup

There was no shortage of exciting looks at the EE British Academy Film Awards nominees party at Kensington Palace on Saturday (February 17) in London, England.

Karen Gillan: The ‘Doctor Who’ actress shimmered in a Temperley London gown. Despite the all-black colour palette, this feels like a few different dresses in one look. It’s too bad that the tulle skirt gives the appearance of weighing down the top part.

Allison Janney: The Best Actress in a Supporting Role nominee ditched the gown in favour of an August Getty trench dress. The gray number had a marvelous lengthening effect which showcased her statuesque beauty. It was beautifully cut and as sophisticated as any dress. If I must find fault, I wish the sleeves were shortened to eliminate the bunching. Nine West shoes, a Judith Leiber clutch and Maxior tourmeline earrings added more pizzazz.

Kristin Scott Thomas: Another Best Actress in a Supporting Role nominee, the beauty turned heads in a Valentino dress. The dragon-inspired design nods to Chinese New Year and projects a joyful opulence. The style hails from the same Pre-Fall 2018 collection as Greta Gerwig’s gown.
