Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge In Temperley London – 2017 Portrait Gala

Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge attended the 2017 Portrait Gala on Monday (March 28) in London alongside Rosamund Pike and Alexa Chung.

Her forest green Temperely London lace gown wasn’t a re-run, but it had a strong case of déjà vu about it, as it reminded me of her Temperley London ‘Amoret’ lace gown which she’s worn thrice before.

It has the exact same silhouette, the same lace pattern and the same satin waistband.

I also found myself a bit disappointed by the moody hue. We’re in Spring. Let’s celebrate that with some joyful colour. The Queen would’ve done so.

A gold Wilbur and Gussie ‘Charlie’ clutch and matching Jimmy Choo ‘Dart’ sandals rounded out her look.

I don’t hate this by any means, but as usual I’m thirsty for more from Kate.

Joanne Froggatt In Temperley London – Three Empire Awards

Joanne Froggatt was another of the British beauties at the Three Empire awards on Sunday (March 19) in London, joining Laura Carmichael and Ella Purnell.

Sticking to a British designer, she donned a Temperley London Fall 2017 look featuring a sequin evening skirt with peek-a-boo sheer, knife-cut pleats.

I love the sleeker way she chose to wear the design with a plunge top replacing the oversized white button-down.

It had no shortage of modern edge.

Olivia Culpo In Temperley London – UGG SS17 Campaign Launch In LA

Olivia Culpo joined Rosie Huntington-Whiteley for the UGG SS17 campaign on Wednesday (March 15) in LA.

Her Temperley London Pre-Fall 2017 ruffled frock featured a delicacy of form that was lovely for the daytime event.

However, I do like how she put a chic sharpness on the folksie femininity of the dress with her structured mini handbag and pointy heels.

Beautiful, rose-tinged makeup and a sleek bun likewise added a note of freshness that spoke of spring.

The Naked Heart Foundation’s Fabulous Fund Fair

A collection of bold beauties were out in support of The Naked Heart Foundation’s Fabulous Fund Fair in London on Tuesday (February 21).

Natalia Vodianova: The model is known to favour red for this event, and she played favourites again with a bright crimson Givenchy Spring 2017 frock enlivened with fringe—although she could have continued the colour theme down to her shoes. With the high turtleneck, I do think her hair would have been better served in a sleek updo.

Karlie Kloss: The Louis Vuitton Spring 2017 collection has been hit or miss on the red carpet, but Karlie was up for the challenge with this black sheer gown. Both her statuesque height and her simplicity of styling were beneficial here.

Kristin Scott Thomas: Understated was not in the actress’s vocabulary, at least not for this event, as she brought out all the bells and whistles for this Fendi Resort 2017 off-the-shoulder jumpsuit. One would think the flowers and butterflies printed on her outfit would have been quite sufficient, but that was only the beginning with piles of bangles and scarves adding an eccentric, gypset spirit. Of course, her hair was having its own party.

Christina Hendricks In Temperley London – ‘Fist Fight’ LA Premiere

Christina Hendricks made a welcome return to the red carpet for the premiere of ‘Fist Fight’ on Monday (February 13) in Westwood, California.

Temperley London are known for their use exquisite use of fabrics and intricate embellishment, and this dress encompasses all of those things.

The look is bursting with femininity, with Christina showing a carefree spirit I haven’t seen in a while.

My only issue is the hair. On the one hand an updo may have taken this down a mumsy route, so a sleek ponytail would’ve been preferred as her gorgeous fire waves feel like they are competing with the dress.

Thoughts? Too much going on or a refreshing change of pace for Christina?

Nieves Alvarez In Temperley London – ‘British Fashion Night’ Party

Spanish model Nieves Alvarez attended ‘British Fashion Night’ party on Wednesday (February 1) in Madrid, Spain, ahead of the Goya Awards on Saturday (February 4).

While Kate Bosworth is jumping to spring, I love how Nieves is still in tune with the current season, wearing this autumnal-hued Temperley London Pre-Fall 2017 dress complete with cascading ruffles for an innately feminine finish.

Why the belt? Some might say.

My response would be to perhaps prevent the over-the-knee Aquazzura boots from feeling misplaced or too heavy with this look. The belt I feel gives this look balance.

What are your thoughts?
