Red Carpet Fashion Awards

Octavia Spencer clutches on to her award for ‘Best Supporting Actress’ for her role in ‘The Help’ at the 2012 Critics’ Choice Awards this evening.

The actress went the LBD route wearing a Tadashi Shohi Spring 2012 v-neck black draped jersey dress with a jewel detail at the waist.

She accessorized with a Swarovski black satin and crystal clutch.

The actress proves once again that she knows how to dress for her body type in this figure-flattering dress.

A shorter-hemmed dress is perfect for this more casual awards ceremony.

Chandelier earrings and a tousled up-do add an elegant touch to her look.

Fan Bingbing attended the Tokyo press conference for ‘My Way’ on Monday at The Peninsula in Japan.

As much as I love Fan, the ‘Here comes the bride’ chorus started playing in my head the second I saw her in this Tadashi Shoji Spring 2012 gown.

I love her when she does the princess thing, but it doesn’t work for me on this occasion, sadly.

The v-neck floral dress itself is beautiful, it has to be said, but the fit is better on the model.

Dita von Teese’s risqué Tadashi Shoji gown was the clear winner for best dressed this week.

The burlesque star added her signature red lipstick, 1940’s Marcel waves and diamond drop earrings to complete her sultry look..

In the wrong hands this gown could’ve headed down to Tackyville, USA, but Dita oozes elegance and sophistication every time she hits the red carpet and this was no exception.

You will not be surprised that Iman was my favourite this week.

The maths was quite simple.

One of my favourite diva’s + a Zac Posen Spring 2012 gown = red carpet perfection.

Dita Von Teese looked stunning on the red carpet in London last night for her Cointreau Prive pop-up bar at The Pigalle Club.

She donned a Tadashi Shoji Spring 2012 gown.

The ivory plunging gown also had a dangerously low open back, so low that it leaves little to the imagination, but the burlesque dancer is used to parading around in much less.

What I refer to as Dita’s signatures – retro waves and red lippie – many of you refer to as boring and repetitive.

The gown works wonders for Dita, leaving the model in the shade.

Kate Beckinsale attended a press conference at The London Hotel in West Hollywood today with actor Anthony Mackie to announce the nominations for the 2012 Film Independent Spirit Awards.

The British actress showed off her long, toned legs wearing a Tadashi Shoji Spring 2012 dress.

Her beautiful white and nude tulle cocktail dress was made considerably shorter. Thankfully she did this by hitching up the dress higher instead of ruin that gorgeous embroidered lace hemline.

Kate didn’t add many accessories, just a pair of nude Brian Atwood pumps and ivory drop earrings.

Glossy waves and glossy lips completed her look.
