Variety’s Power Of Women: New York

Variety’s Power Of Women: New York event on Friday (April 13) had many influential women in attendance.

Padma Lakshmi: A beauty in red, the ‘Top Chef’ host put on a coordinated display from head to toe. Everything in her look was perfectly cohesive from the three-piece slim Styland suit to the sandals to her red lipstick. No statement jewellery was necessary as the fiery hue had such impact.

Alicia Keys: The singer experimented with silhouettes by teaming a Calvin Klein Spring 2018 dress with cropped pants and heeled mules. Had the trousers been full length, they would have had more of an elongating effect. I’m sure there will be others who will take issue with the statement tie belt.

Viola Davis: The actress wowed in pink at the 2018 Oscars, and she took the shade for a spin once again in a Pamella Roland dress. The pewter accessories and Toni & Chloe Goutal necklace bring a cool modernity to the feminine style.

Debby Ryan In Styland – ‘Cover Versions’ LA Premiere

Debby Ryan attended the LA premiere of ‘Cover Versions’ on Monday (April 9), wearing something we’ve seen popping up in relative frequency on the red carpet lately: pastel suiting.

Here, with this Styland number, we had a two-in-one deal, though, as it also had the influence of PJs languidly woven into the menswear trend.

I was immediately reminded of another baby-blue Styland suit when Olivia Munn wore a more tailored, less sleepwear-inspired version.

I wish some of that tailoring had been lent to this look, as whatever the good intentions, it was ultimately compromised by execution and fit.

Some nips and tucks as well as a steam for the creases and sleeker styling—say, a low bun—would have elevated it greatly.

Chrissy Teigen In Styland & Haney – The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon

Chrissy Teigen was a red hot mama for her appearance on ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon’ on Tuesday (January 30) in New York City.

The model was on hand to discuss the 2018 Grammy Awards and wore a Haney Resort 2018 dress and Styland blazer for the occasion.

The slinky frock highlighted her growing baby bump with the lace detailing showcasing her pins.

The sharp structured jacket tempered the sensual nature of the dress so it didn’t look like she was stepping out in a negligee.

Le Vian diamond rings and gold sandals enlivened the fiery colour palette.

Zendaya Coleman In Maria Escote, Styland & Ralph Lauren Collection – ‘The Greatest Showman’ Mexico City Photocall & Premiere

The one thing you can’t accuse Zendaya Coleman of is being afraid of colour during the press tour for ‘The Greatest Showman.’

Yesterday (December 13) in Mexico City, Zendaya’s red carpet M.O. was smart suiting; and of course she nailed both looks.

Photocall: The actress could not be missed in her clean cut Maria Escote blouse complemented by colourful vertical stripes for a flattering, body-elongating effect, which was only heightened by the bright fluorescent hue of her Styland trousers.

Premiere: Am I alone in feeling a strong equestrian vibe? I love how Zendaya empowers her red carpet styled with this Ralph Lauren Collection look. The festive red tuxedo blazer is tailored to perfection to complement her figure with minimal effort. I glad she adding black tuxedo trousers complete the androgynous look, as matching with her blazer may have been overkill with that glossy silk fabrication. Christian Louboutin ‘Cristacora’ pumps completed her look.

HFPA and Instyle Celebration of the 2018 Golden Globe Awards Red Carpet Roundup

Many more style darlings were at the HFPA and Instyle Celebration of the 2018 Golden Globe Awards on Wednesday (November 15) in West Hollywood, California.

Serinda Swan: This Styland ensemble brought every bit of smoldering sizzle we’d expect from a hot-red gown except manifested in a suit, and I loved every minute of it—especially with the matching red lip and handbag.

Andrea Riseborough:
The event saw Andrea reinvent her look again, as she rocked a new Galaxina hairstyle with an equally galactic metallic jumpsuit. Directional makeup and decorative wrist cuffs completed the look that may split the vote—but I think we can all agree that there will be no boredom with this punchy, experimental look.

Olivia Culpo: Some may fault the visible cups underneath this Monique Lhuillier Spring 2018 gown. But, the wispy beauty of the tulle and its glinting embellishment had a sense of enchantment, regardless.
