Red Carpet Fashion Awards

Beyoncé Knowles was the main attraction at the 2012 BET Awards, held at The Shrine Auditorium in LA on Sunday evening.

She not only collected the Best Female R&B Artist award, but she also saw her hubby Jay-Z pick up the Best Group and Video of the Year categories for ‘The Throne’.

The beautiful singer looked stunning wearing a Stéphane Rolland Spring 2012 Couture gown.

Her chartreuse one-sleeve gown with a hip-high slit was styled with the gold multi-level waistband upside down to how it was presented on the runway.

I wish Beyoncé had given this look a red-carpet moment. Looking through all the pictures she was constantly holding her skirt. I would’ve loved to see the gown free-flowing on the red carpet.

Voluminous curls, Lorraine Schwartz jewels and those Givenchy sandals which continue to get a lot of celebrity love completed her award winning look.

I am stunned. Floored even.

Cheryl Cole set the rain-soaked red carpet ablaze for the ‘Amour’ premiere during Cannes Film Festival this evening.

For the second year in a row, the UK ambassador for L’Oreal, wore a Stéphane Rolland Spring 2012 Couture gown.

Her cap-sleeve white jersey fitted gown was decorated with light red embellishments before trailing off into a dramatic lava-like fiery red ostrich feathered train.

With all that space on the red carpet, Cannes is really the place to showcase a gown with such a train.

The only disappointing thing for me was that most of the drama of the blood red train was lost against the red carpet.

A red VBH clutch, trademark voluminous hair and David Morris jewels completed her look.

You wouldn’t think Stéphane Rolland and Cheryl Cole would make such a great combination, but she wows every time.

Paz Vega was also present on the red carpet for the ‘Madagascar 3: Europe’s Most Wanted’ premiere during the 2012 Cannes Film Festival at the Palais des Festivals this evening.

She stunned the crowd wearing a breathtaking Stéphane Rolland Spring 2012 Couture gown.

I was hoping we would get to see at least one gown from the amazing designer, and Paz more than does this gown justice.

The black and white gown with a keyhole bodice and skirt with a dramatic feathered train was accented with a gold waistband.

Paz swept her hair up into a loose bun and completed her look with a rich red lip colour.

Solange Knowles attended the 6th Annual DKMS Linked Against Blood Cancer Gala at Cipriani Wall Street in New York City last night.

The star wore a Stéphane Rolland Spring 2012 Couture gown.

Her white futuristic gown with sculptural details on the hips, which falls from a gold plate at the waist, is sensational.

I love the simple styling with a complementary gold cuff, but I’m not dying over this look as I should be.

Why? Because I think Solange is lacking the height needed to really pull this look off.

The gown looks a lot more streamlined on the model.

Karolina Kurkova donned her second Stéphane Rolland Couture look at the Vienna Awards in Austria on Monday night.

Whilst accepting her ‘Style Icon’ award she wore a lime green flowing chiffon gown from the designers Spring 2012 Couture collection.

The halter gown with the gold hardware was worn without the gold waistband, but it doesn’t upset the balance of this stunning look.

It looks like Karolina is going for back-to-back BDOTW wins.

Karolina Kurkova was radiant on the red carpet for the Vienna Awards for Fashion and Lifestyle in Museumsquartier in Austria on Monday night.

The supermodel donned a Stephane Rolland Fall 2011 Couture dress for the occasion.

Her yellow jersey dress with a braided cowl back was worn with the runway metal belt and with berry velvet ankle-strap sandals.

Karolina’s beaming smile was not to be missed with that bright red lip colour.

A sleek ponytail completed the look.

We don’t see enough of Stephane Rolland’s masterpieces on the red carpet.

I hope this is the first of many more to come.
