Alesha Dixon In Rosetta Getty & Stella McCartney – The X Factor Manchester Auditions

Alesha Dixon was seen heading off to ‘The X Factor’ auditions in Manchester, where she acted as a stand-in judge for the day for Nicole Scherzinger on Saturday (June 24).

Mixing and matching two different pieces to her advantage, she donned a Rosetta Getty Pre-Fall 2017 colour-block top with a Stella McCartney draped skirt.

By pairing these two pieces together, she imbued the overall ensemble with a playful, feminine angle to make the look her own. I also love that she opted out of the arm sling.

Gingham Miu Miu wrap sandals finished the ensemble with a flirty twist.

Lake Bell In Stella McCartney & Wolford – ‘Shot Caller’ LA Screening

Lake Bell looked bold in blue on Saturday (June 17) as she attended the 2017 Los Angeles Film Festival gala screening of ‘Shot Caller’.

I love the voluminous Stella McCartney Spring 2017 trousers which feature an interesting paper bag-waist and bell bottoms, which she styled with a Wolford ‘Jamaika String’ bodysuit.

It such a shame that bra ruins what could have been a great summery look that steps outside the floral dress box.

I do, however, like the Lee Savage ‘Cross Stack’ clutch and the fun Pierre Hardy ‘Parade’ sandals.

This was so nearly a winning outfit. What do you think?

2017 Tony Awards Menswear Roundup

The men were not to be left backstage with their red-carpet looks at the 2017 Tony Awards on Sunday (June 11) in New York City.

Ben Platt: The young Broadway actor showed off a perfectly tailored fit in a bespoke David Hart suit that featured a rich navy colour with contrasting black lapels.

Jordan Roth: The Broadway mogul flaunted his theatrical side in a rock-star-red Gucci Resort 2017 slim-line suit complete with the embellished roaring tiger motif at the back. This was the performance piece of the night—at least on the sartorial stage.

2017 Glamour Women Of The Year Awards Red Carpet Roundup

The 2017 Glamour Women Of The Year Awards took place on Tuesday (June 6) in London. The event attracted some famous faces in fashionable ensembles.

Dua Lipa: The singer definitely got the ‘glamour’ memo judging by her Stella McCartney Fall 2017 cut-out gown. It was one of the few sultry after-dark looks we saw at this event.

Emily Berrington: Emilio Pucci’s dress seems inspired by paisley print. The unusual design features panelling, print, and a cut-out. Whilst this look is commendable for playing with shape, it’s confusing and overworked.

Rashida Jones: Amongst the sea of florals and neutrals, this Erdem Pre-Fall 2017 dress did stand out. I love the intricate detailing on the neckline which adds some softness to this look. The silhouette seems somewhat unflattering, however. I also wish the ‘Parks and Recreation’ actress has opted for more daring styling choices to amplify this look.

Salma Hayek In Stella McCartney – ‘Miguel Arteta’s Beatriz At Dinner’ Sundance London Screening

Salma Hayek attended the screening of ‘Miguel Arteta’s Beatriz At Dinner’ in Mayfair on Thursday (June 1) following the Sundance London Filmmaker and press breakfast earlier in the day.

There’s something incredibly pedestrian and off-putting about this look. It’s largely to do with the colour, or lack of, and the unflattering silhouette.

The actress, who is usually a bastion of colour and intrigue, seems to have had another fashion misstep.

An all-black ensemble can look sophisticated and sexy but this look is sadly overworked. The ruffles, draping, and gathered sleeves make the dress look like it has too much fabric.

The styling, far from saving the look, adds to the chaos. A large belt buckle, cumbersome leather purse, and high black heels feel clunky and ill-thought out.

Eva Green In Stella McCartney & Alexander McQueen – ‘Based On A True Story’ Cannes Film Festival Photocall & Premiere

Eva Green promoted her upcoming film, ‘Based On A True Story’ during Cannes Film Festival yesterday (May 27) opting for two British brands.

Photocall: Her Stella McCartney’s jumpsuit epitomizes modern sophistication. The look was made infinitely more interesting with red lip and onyx jewels.

Premiere: By nightfall, the look had turned more dramatic in Alexander McQueen. I love how the silver sequin ‘shipwreck’ embroidery black tulle Spring 2017 dress feels like it has its own story to tell. That’s always been the mystic, magic and allure of Eva. She tends to select artful red carpet looks.
