Haim In Stella McCartney – 2018 Vanity Fair Oscar Party

As per usual, Haim coordinated their looks at the 2018 Vanity Fair Oscar Party on Sunday (March 4) in Beverly Hills, California.

It’s a theme among this girl band that I continue to appreciate.

Here, they offered up variations on red and black in Stella McCartney designs that were united by palette, by pants, and by pouf shoulder.

Danielle Haim: I thought her look was the most modern of the three, with the feminine blouse smartly counterbalanced by the directional fun of the ruffled trousers.

Alana Haim: Her red separates stood out by virtue of their colour, which Este only enhanced with her red lip and coppery kitten heels—although the proportions of the look and the ankle tie of her shoe didn’t exactly lengthen the leg line.

Este Haim: I would pinpoint Alana’s ensemble as the most retro of the three, as it made no apologies for the exaggerated ruffled shoulder and pouf sleeve. She also brought eye-catching footwear into the mix with her blue shoes to add a spark of individualized personality.

Princess Charlene of Monaco In Stella McCartney – 2018 Laureus World Sports Awards

Prince Albert II of Monaco and his wife Charlene, Princess of Monaco attended the 2018 Laureus World Sports Awards on Tuesday (February 27) in Monaco, where a host of sporting heroes and heroines also took to the red carpet.

Charlene was looking ever so graceful wearing a Stella McCartney Spring 2018 white gown which possessed many of the British designers signatures: refined tailoring, a fuss-free silhouette and a muted colour palette.

While I love the relaxed, yet glamorous nature of the dress which she amped up with some stunning jewels, I was a little taken back by her hair on this occasion. I love the style, but not the royal roots.

But nothing is more shocking than the sight of Prince Albert wearing sneakers with his tux. I know it was a sports awards, but it not a great look for a middle-aged man.

You may remember that Kate Hudson wore this same gown to the 2017 Met Gala.

Dua Lipa In Versace, Armani Privé & Stella McCartney – The BRIT Awards 2018 Performance, Press Room & After-Party

After making an ethereal entrance in Giambattista Valli Spring 2018 Couture at The Brit Awards 2018 on Wednesday (February 21) in London, England, the singer kept up the bold fashion looks throughout the evening.

The BRIT Awards 2018 Performance: For her performance of ‘New Rules,’ she wore a printed cotton denim jacket combined with a printed matching top featuring the Tresor de la Mer print from the Versace Tribute Spring Summer 2018 collection. The oceanic print and mix of colours had a playful quality with the high-cut silhouette showcased her long legs.

The BRIT Awards 2018 Menswear Red Carpet Roundup

The Brit Awards 2018 weren’t just about the ladies, as a set of fellows put on their stylish best for the event on Wednesday (February 21) in London.

Calvin Harris: Not only did Calvin have me at hello, given the pure sharpness of this Dior Homme Spring 2018 suit, I was even more enamoured upon closer inspection. Look closely, and the graphic print is actually ‘Christian Dior Atelier’ printed stripes. Way to put ‘normal’ pinstripes to shame.

Justin Timberlake: Before taking to the stage to perform, JT was on the red carpet in a Stella McCartney dark suit and red scarf for a stylish flourish. I do question the brown shoes here, as they were such a distraction.

Luke Evans: The Welsh actor channeled suave formality in this charcoal-gray, contrast lapel suit.

Cheryl In Jean-Louis Sabaji – The BRIT Awards 2018

Cheryl walked the red carpet with boyfriend Liam Payne at The Brit Awards 2018 on Wednesday (February 21) in London, England, where they joined Alesha Dixon and Millie Bobby Brown.

The former Girls Aloud member channeled dark sophistication in a Jean-Louis Sabaji Spring 2018 dress.

I am being complementary when I say that there is a crow-like quality to the style with its feather-like detailing cascading across the chest and arm and the dramatic cinched waist.

Unfortunately, Cheryl’s version has lost a lot of that moody drama with the shorter skirt and looser silhouette.

The rose-adorned shoes do not help matters.

I understand she wore them to tie into the white rose and the Time’s Up movement, but there are too many details going on and not one clear focal point.

Liam looked suave with his pale blue Stella McCartney jacket popping against the dark pieces.

Ellie Goulding In Stella McCartney – The BRIT Awards 2018

Ellie Goulding bucked the big gown The Brit Awards 2018 trend on the red carpet this evening (February 21), as favoured by Dua Lipa and Rita Ora.

She’s a great singer and a beautiful girl, but this Stella McCartney dress isn’t doing her any favours.

It’s like the dress came off the set from a bad ’80s movie with puffy shoulders and tiered skirt, but the biggest issue is just how unflattering the dress is.

I honestly feel sorry for her. She is so much better than this.
