Thandie Newton In Stella McCartney – British Film Industry Reception

Thandie Newton In Stella McCartney - British Film Industry Reception

Queen Elizabeth II greeted Gurinder Chadha, Damian Lewis, Helen McCrory and Thandie Newton at a reception for the British Film Industry held at Windsor Castle yesterday in Berkshire, England.

If you watch ‘Chelsea Lately’, you would’ve already known the that British actress was going to wear a Stella McCartney suit, and she did.

Sadly, the look was only captured from the side, but we get the gist of Thandie’s Stella McCartney bespoke grey tweed peplum fitted long-sleeve dress.

While the required ‘Hello My Name Is..’ badge doesn’t quite go with the ensemble, the black beaded bag and black Charlotte Olympia wedges with gold piping add not so strait-laced elements to her conservative look.

Olga Kurylenko In Stella McCartney – ‘Oblivion’ Moscow Photocall

Olga Kurylenko In Stella McCartney - 'Oblivion' Moscow Photocall

Olga Kurylenko and Tom Cruise were in Russia earlier today for the ‘Oblivion’ photocall, which was held on the top of a rain-soaked Ritz Carlton Hotel in Moscow.

Braving the elements, the Ukrainian beauty was wise to wear not only a Pre-Fall look but tights – you won’t hear me say that too often.

Despite the miserable day, she did her best to brighten up the occasion, wearing a Stella McCartney Pre-Fall 2013 maroon jacquard mini dress with feather embroidery, which was styled with tights and simple black pumps.

A half-up, half-down hairstyle and star drop earrings completed her weather-appropriate photocall look.

Kelly Chen In Stella McCartney – Sergio Rossi Hong Kong Store Opening

Kelly Chen In Stella McCartney - Sergio Rossi Hong Kong Store Opening

Kelly Chen attended the opening of a new Sergio Rossi store in Hong Kong, China last week.

The singer wore a eyelet strapless jumpsuit with a peplum detail from Stella McCartney’s Spring 2013 collection.

She also styled her look with Sergio Rossi accessories, including the ‘Clash’ wedges which are still high on my wish list and a tassel-accented clutch from the same Spring 2013 collection.

As you know, I have only met one jumpsuit I didn’t like.

Not only do I like the unique nature of this jumpsuit, but I also love the styling, which is complementary while also giving the popstar an edge.

I don’t think many would be able to pull off this look with such ease.

Stella McCartney In Stella McCartney – Investiture Ceremony

Stella McCartney In Stella McCartney - Investiture Ceremony

Stella McCartney was accompanied by her husband, Alasdhair Willis, to Buckingham Palace in London today, where the 41-year-old designer collected her OBE for services to fashion from the Queen.

Wearing a chic navy cinched bespoke skirt suit of her own design, Stella added a delicately veiled vintage Cartier headpiece and blue velvet pumps which are also of her own design.

A perfect brand ambassador if ever I saw one.

Stella McCartney, who was Team GB’s Creative Director during the Olympics, joins an esteemed list of designers – including Sarah Burton of Alexander McQueen; Dame Vivienne Westwood; and Jimmy Choo founder, Tamara Mellon – in being awarded the Order of the British Empire.

Miranda Cosgrove In Stella McCartney – 2013 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards

Miranda Cosgrove In Stella McCartney - 2013 Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards

I was surprised to see Miranda Cosgrove bucking the mini dress trend on the red carpet at the 2013 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards, held at the USC Galen Center in Los Angeles, California on Saturday evening.

That’s because mini dresses were very much the actress’ red carpet staple, but on this occasion she wore a Stella McCartney Spring 2013 abstract printed frock.

The delicate organza dress was completed with a pair of patent blue Giuseppe Zanotti peep-toes and a light-blue sparkling Jimmy Choo clutch.

A gorgeous smile, highlighted wavy locks and flawless makeup completed her look.

This is one of her best ever looks. Do you agree?
