Sergio Rossi Spring 2013 Collection On Moda Operandi

Celebrity are huge fans of Sergio Rossi heels.

The ‘Cachet’ pump is much loved by celebs, but I am hoping they look to the Spring 2013 collection which offers triangular prints embolden lace-up booties, chevron striped ankle-strap stilettos and embellished evening sandals to name a few.

Sergio Rossi Fall 2011

The one thing Milan has over the other fashion weeks are the shoe presentations.

It’s like being in a candy store surround by all those sweet delights.

As you know I’m on a constant mission to see more interesting heels on the red carpet.

Sergio Rossi’s Fall 2011 collection reassured me that shoe manufacturers are making heels in colours other than black and nude.

Francesco Russo’s, Creative Director of Sergio Rossi wants to enveloping the female foot, elongating the leg and elevating the body; enhancing the perfect silhouette.

He was inspired by night butterflies, carnivals and harlequins hence such a fun and colourful collection.

The key feature was the twirl design on the majority of the shoes which provides an identifiable signature for this collection.

My favourite piece from this collection was the green, red and purple ankle strap heel above, as it reminded me of a Venus fly trap.

The fur trimmed sandals seemed to spark a lot of interest, so these could be really big for Fall.

It wasn’t only shoes which were presented; clutches and chokers both with a butterfly motif were on display.
