‘The Female Brain’ LA Premiere

Sofia Vergara, Whitney Cummings and Beth Behrs attended the premiere of IFC Films’ ‘The Female Brain’ at ArcLight Hollywood on Thursday (February 1) in California.

Sofia Vergara: The Latin actress wore a two-piece Pamella Roland look which consisted of sleek trousers with a geometric floral maco embroidered bustier. The problem I have with the bustier is the hue of the lining, otherwise this would’ve been a stellar look for Sofia.

Whitney Cummings: The comedian went the simple and chic route wearing a Manning Cartell ‘Another Level’ off-the-shoulder dress, styled with MARLI diamond earrings and simple black pumps.

Beth Behrs: You’ll instantly recognize Beth’s lace black jumpsuit, because it’s the same Self-Portrait jumpsuit we saw Emmy Rossum wear yesterday. Instead of going all black, Beth added a lush pair of burgundy Charlotte Olympia ‘Dolly’ platform pumps.

Emmy Rossum In Self-Portrait – ‘The Minefield Girl’ Audio Visual Book Launch

Emmy Rossum demonstrated the beauty of an all-black ensemble at the launch of ‘The Minefield Girl’ audio visual book on Wednesday (January 31) in New York.

The actress went for the charms of a Self-Portrait Resort 2018 ensemble which demonstrated the brand’s adeptness at considering an entire look.

The high-waisted skinny trousers serve as a counterpoint to the detailed top. With fringing, lace and trim, the short-sleeved style was brimming with ornament so it required something sharper to balance it out.

I was very pleased she opted for the black shoes to preserve the harmonious colour effect.

Sarah Hyland In Self-Portrait – The Late Late Show with James Corden

Sarah Hyland paid a visit to ‘The Late Late Show with James Corden’ on Tuesday (January 30) where she cut a sophisticated figure.

She donned a tiered Self-Portrait Spring 2018 dress which projected the same refined elegance as her Naeem Khan outfit at the 2018 Critics’ Choice Awards.

Many approved of the feel of her last red carpet outing so I suspect viewers will be pleased she cast the edgy accessories aside and and added Sophia Webster shoes and red lipstick.

The grace of the lace frock suits her very well with none of the details overwhelming her petite frame. It makes me look forward to seeing what she will turn up in next.

Entertainment Weekly’s Screen Actors Guild Awards Celebration Red Carpet Roundup

The stars came out in full force for Entertainment Weekly’s Screen Actors Guild Awards Celebration on Saturday (January 20).

Crystal Reed: There’s a lot to love about Crystal’s Dion Lee Spring 2018 look, but the pleated skirt steal the show for me. I love the overlay that gives it a dual-color effect.

Tommy Dorfman: I’ve always been wholly on-board with Tommy’s obvious love of fashion and willingness to experiment, but I literally can’t even with this. I feel like the entire thing is just trying too hard, and is completely unflattering.

Sarah Hyland: This velvet and satin asymmetrical Self Portrait Fall 2017 gown is as fun and perky and Sarah herself. And us usual, Sarah’s hair and makeup team knocked it out of the park.

Daisy Ridley In Self-Portrait – ‘Murder on the Orient Express’ London Photocall

‘Murder on the Orient Express’ opened in theaters on Friday (November 3), while Daisy Ridley continued promoting her new film in London.

The young actress, who holds her own in the film alongside a stellar cast, wore a Self-Portrait Resort 2018 cold-shoulder dress.

I adore how this dress delivers on fine details such as the frills, tiers and pleats with contemporary femininity.

Black satin pumps sits perfectly well with this striped look, along with effortless waves and a remembrance poppy.

End Of The Week Red Carpet Roundup

There were so many looks this week, that we’re going to cram them into this final post.

Josephine De La Baume: Attending the ‘Murder on the Orient Express’ world premiere, the French actress opted to infuse her red carpet style with high-voltage seduction courtesy of this Self-Portrait devore mini dress from the Fall 2017 collection. I’m not usually a big fan of platform shoes, but I find myself buying what she’s selling as these Miu Miu Mary Janes add a playful vibe.

Martha Hunt: I love the fashion forward feel of this Off-White c/o Virgil Abloh black cropped blazer and sequin dress from the Fall 2017 collection with simple black pumps. Worn to the World of Children Awards, this was a truly intriguing look I have to say.

Ajak Deng: This saffron yellow Roksanda ‘Tamiko’ jumpsuit from the Fall 2017 collection gave me so much joy at the ‘Murder on the Orient Express’ world premiere. I love the relaxed nature of it all with the chunky heels adding a utilitarian flavour.
