Red Carpet Fashion Awards

Solange Knowles attended the re-opening of the Salvatore Ferragamo Fifth Avenue flagship store in New York City yesterday evening.

The star wore a Ferragamo Spring 2012 look with a Maki Oh blouse.

I just love the jewel tones, but the black-and-white marble-print Maki Oh blouse I’m not so sure about.

This is the second time in a row that I haven’t been blown away with a Solange look, which is a rarity.

Ferragamo ‘Blejan’ bi-colour sandals, a bold pink lip colour and a gold minaudiere completed her look.

You can buy Solange’s Ferragamo sandals from Bloomingdale’s.

Late last year, Karolina Kurkova was in Mexico for the presentation of the Salvatore Ferragamo Resort 2012 collection, hosted by Saks Fifth Avenue.

The supermodel looked beautiful wearing a tropical-print one-shoulder dress from the brand’s Spring 2012 collection with Michael Kors gladiator boots, a silver clutch and a gold cuff.

AnnaSophia Robb wore the same dress last month whilst celebrating the launch of Ferragamo’s new fragrance, ‘Signorina’.

The young actress teamed her dress with navy Ferragamo pumps and a gold clutch.

I was certain I was going to pick Karolina until I saw the looks side-by-side.

Whilst I’m not a fan of AnnaSophia’s pumps, I dislike Karolina’s dark lip colour more.

AnnaSophia wins for me.

Hilary Swank was in Paris on Tuesday night to check out the Louvre’s latest exhibit, ‘‘The Saint Anne,’ Leonardo Da Vinci’s Greatest Masterpiece.’

The actress attended the event, sponsored by Salvatore Ferragamo, wearing look from the designer’s Pre-Fall 2012 collection.

Hilary’s dress has all the see major elements associated with the Fall collection, such as the loose-fitting design, intricate scallop detailing and rich colour.

The detail in the dress is undeniably gorgeous, but I’m a bit let down by Hilary’s styling.

Such a heavy black clutch competes with that fabulous eggplant belt. I’m also not sure how I feel about fishnets with such a pretty dress.

What do you think – hit or a miss?

All eyes were on AnnaSophia Robb in New York City last night, for the launch of ‘Signorina,’ the new fragrance by Salvatore Ferragamo.

For her first red carpet appearance since being named the young Carrie Bradshaw in the upcoming series ‘The Carrie Diaries,’ AnnaSophia wore a Grecian-inspired safari print dress from the Salvatore Ferragamo Spring 2012 collection.

The wild print features a prominent palm-tree motif, as well as leopard print and entire tiger’s head.

While she may have nailed the requisite ‘bold choice,’ necessary to wow skeptics, AnnaSophia is in need of some new shoes if she really plans to fill Sarah Jessica Parker’s Manolos.

Kate Mara helped celebrate the launch of Salvatore Ferragamo’s latest fragrance, ‘Signorina,’ in New York City on Tuesday evening.

Staying true to the perfume’s floral theme, Kate chose a silk floral print dress from the designer’s Spring 2012 collection.

Her halterneck dress collects at the left hip with some wrap-around draping.

Tousled waves, a hot pink Ferragamo clutch and metallic pumps complete the look.

I wish she’d worn the red runway heels.

Sonam Kapoor won best dressed this week despite the many gorgeous gowns taking to the red carpet over the last seven days.

She looked breath-taking in a purple Salvatore Ferragamo Spring 2012 satin pants suit paired with a shimmering pink top and Ferragamo sandals.

This has to be my favourite ever red carpet look from her.

I hope we get to see more of her on the red carpet, as this is picture perfect.
