Red Carpet Fashion Awards

Robert Pattinson was flanked by two lovely ladies earlier this afternoon at the photocall for his latest movie ‘Cosmopolis’ during the 2012 Cannes Film Festival.

The actor, who plays a ruthless billionaire on a journey to self-destruction in the movie, opted for a laidback look wearing a Salvatore Ferragamo suit.

His ink-blue cotton suit was simply styled with a white shirt and black dress shoes.

Emily Hampshire wore a nice red fitted Edition by Georges Chakra dress, but the styling, especially the pearls, are quite bad.

Sarah Gadon’s dress will look very familiar to you; that’s because Amy Adams and Amanda de Cadenet have both worn this Roland Mouret red-and-ivory ‘Herbert’ frock from the Spring 2012 collection before her. Like her co-star, she also opted for black peep-toes.

You can buy Sarah’s Roland Mouret dress from Net-A-Porter US, Net-A-Porter International and Browns Fashion.

Earlier this week, Marta Gastini was spotted leaving Hotel JM Marriott during Cannes Film Festival and heading to a dinner party.

She wore a beautiful Salvatore Ferragamo Resort 2012 gown.

Her romantic dove-grey gown with a plunging neckline was accented with a tie with a silver beaded fringed detail.

Silver studded earrings and a matching diamond bracelet accessorized the look.

The look is so pretty that I think she shouldn’t have added the bracelet. The fringing provides all the bling needed.

A simple low bun and a glossy lip colour provided the finishing touches.

Freida Pinto attended the photocall for her latest movie, ‘Desert Dancer’ during the 2012 Cannes Film Festival in France earlier today.

The Indian actress looked sensational wearing a Salvatore Ferragamo Resort 2012 ensemble.

This striped oufit which included a cropped halter top and matching belted skirt couldn’t be more perfect for a daytime look with the French Rivieria in the background.

Freida has really come into her own during this festival. So far she has been my favourite as her looks have stood out even with the likes of Diane Kruger and Fan Bingbing in attendance.

A simple ponytail and two-tone sandals that finally complement her look provided the finishing touches.

Jennifer Lopez was spotted making her way to the Fox studios for the ‘American Idol’ live results show yesterday afternoon.

She looked fabulous wearing a vibrant Salvatore Ferragamo Spring 2012 gown.

The flowing colour-block raspberry-and-aqua-blue halter gown with a bright red-orange tie around the waist is one of her best looks to date on the show, so it’s a shame it wasn’t captured well inside the studio.

Her pretty gown was teamed with Giuseppe Zanotti purple-bow-accented platform sandals.

Blown-out locks, gold hooped earrings and a gold cuff completed her look.

The 2012 Women Of Style Awards hosted by InStyle Australia was held at the Carriage Works earlier today in Sydney, Australia.

Miranda Kerr: The ‘Readers’ Choice’ winner stole everyone’s thunder by looking sensational wearing a Carla Zampatti gown. The pale-blue gown cut low at the back and front was styled with gold sandals and spectacular gold jewels. A red pout and simple ponytail completed her look. The day Miranda or Rosie look bad is the day the world is coming to an end.

Kate Ritchie: The former ‘Home and Away’ actress stunned once again wearing a Steven Khalil dress. The designer took a simple strapless dress and turned it on its head by adding dramatic pleats on the bodice, a half peplum and a gold metal waistband. A gold clutch and nude pumps completed her look. The only downside is her foundation which is too light for her complexion.

Lara Bingle: Sporting the same 50s French roll hairstyle Charlize Theron wore to her premiere last night, Lara wore a Romance Was Born printed polka-dot dress. Whilst Lara has great fashion connections, she never really takes ownership of what she’s wearing. She’s like a mannequin.

Erika Heynatz: The TV presenter/model wore a Ferragamo Spring 2012 colour-block red-and-raspberry look which consisted of a plunging blouse with a wrap skirt. I’m not crazy about the bow-front peep-toes, but I do love her complementary woven Ferragamo clutch. The look would’ve been perfect for me had she worn Solange Knowles two-tone Ferragamo sandals.

Here are the rest of the looks from the 2nd Beijing Film Festival which took place in China last night.

Zhang Xin Yi: This Salvatore Ferragamo Spring 2012 halter gown has a second red-carpet moment as it was previously worn by Rosario Dawson. The colour-block magenta-and-turquoise dress with a red sash tied to the waist was teamed with a striped Ferragamo blue clutch.

Huo Si Yan: The actress looked stunning wearing a Dolce & Gabbana floral-printed gown with a maroon waistband. Silver jewels and a low bun completed her look.

Yao Chen: The actress was the epitome of elegance wearing a ruby-red Vionnet Fall 2012 dress with a satin belt. Her sleeveless dress was styled with a silver Chanel clutch, slicked-back hair and a bold red lip colour.

Zhang Jingchu: I love this beautiful white strapless gown, but the bow is overkill with the necklace further pushing this look over the edge.

Angelababy: The model/actress stuns again. This time wearing an embellished white Barney Cheng gown, she gives us the princess moment we longed for on this red carpet.
