Red Carpet Fashion Awards

Fan Bingbing continues to be the guest that most brands want to have in their front row. Once loyal to a few brands, the actress now seems to embrace them all.

She was at the Louvre in Paris yesterday afternoon where she attended the Salvatore Ferragamo Cruise 2013 presentation.

I was immediately put off this look by the exposed black bra. Surely a flesh-coloured bra would’ve been a better option.

Like Leighton Meester, the actress also wore an off-the-shoulder peasant blouse, which she teamed with a forest-green velvet skirt with gold lace embroidery.

Opting out of the runway shoes for simple black pumps, she styled her look with the same beaded necklace the model wore on the runway, a green-and-gold Ferragamo clutch and elaborate gold earrings.

A severe centre-parted bun and stark red lip colour completed her Asia-to-Paris front-row look.

Hilary Swank joined Leighton Meester at the Louvre in Paris yesterday afternoon, where she attended the Salvatore Ferragamo Cruise 2013 presentation.

The Oscar-winning actress wore a head-to-toe Ferragamo Fall 2012 look.

I love her chiffon black dress with gold lace detailing. It was one of the best looks of this collection.

Whilst we all want to see more summery looks on the red carpet, it looks like it was a rainy day in Paris, so this look was perfect.

Ferragamo black strappy sandals (which are to-die-for), gold studded earrings and a gold Ferragamo clutch accessorized her front row look.

A simple ponytail and flawless natural makeup provided the finishing touches.

Leighton Meester was in Paris on Tuesday where she attended the Salvatore Ferragamo Resort 2013 presentation.

The ‘Gossip Girl’ star supported the designer wearing a Salvatore Ferragamo Fall 2012 ensemble.

An off-the-shoulder peasant blouse and embellished pencil skirt highlight one of fall’s most popular colours: oxblood.

Bronze Ferragamo heels and a matching clutch complement the warm hue.

A high ponytail and matching wine-coloured lips finish the look.

Do you like this rich colour on Leighton, or do you wish she had saved this look for September?

Will and Willow Smith supported Jada Pinkett Smith on the red carpet in New York yesterday evening for the premiere of ‘Madagascar 3: Europe’s Most Wanted’.

Jada shimmered wearing a Salvatore Ferragamo Spring 2012 dress.

The shiny metallic gold halter dress features a gold chain link neckline, a keyhole detail, a wrap skirt and a tie at the waist.

Her sexy dress was styled with Jennifer Meyer earrings, Le Vian bangles and Jimmy Choo ‘Bunting’ strappy metallic sandals in black and gold.

Large curls and pretty makeup made this a winning look.

The only thing I would change is the keyhole detail. The dress would still be uber sexy without it.

The Salvatore Ferragamo Resort 2013 collection will be shown at The Louvre in Paris on Tuesday 12 June at 2.30pm EST.

It will be the first time that the museum has granted the use of its historical interiors for a runway show.

You will be able to watch the live stream of the show on Tuesday, so make sure you head to www.ferragamo.com, follow @Ferragamo on Twitter and like them on Facebook to find out all the details of the event.

On a seperate note ModaOperandi.com is giving you a chance to pre-order Salvatore Ferragamo’s Pre-Spring 2013 accessories now.

The trunk show, which ends on 13 June, includes a beautiful array of accessories.

I can see the glitter ‘Milena’ clutch becoming a huge hit with celebrity fans such as Freida Pinto. This sparkling clutch is the standout piece.

The rest of the collection includes tri-colour totes for everyday use and colourful envelope clutches for special nights out.

The bags are beautiful, but it’s the shoes I’m lusting over, especially those ‘Acero Space’ wedges.

If you are looking for something to really stand out, consider the ‘Vanilla Spice’ wedges with an embroidered chunky heel.

Open-toe booties, strappy sandals, cork wedges and the brand’s classic pumps in snakeskin, red and patent black make up the rest of this collection.

You can see more of the pieces available from this collection at ModaOperandi.com.

As temperatures rise, celebrities are ditching basic sundresses for a more edgy and streamlined choice: jumpsuits.

Jumpsuits were all over the Spring 2012 runways, with designers like Derek Lam, Stella McCartney, Adam, Altuzarra and Diane von Furstenberg sending out an alternative silhouette option for warmer days.

Whether it’s sleeved or strapless, loose or cropped, the key to nailing this trend is all about proper tailoring.

Nicole Scherzinger opted to go nautical in Monte Carlo. Cameron Diaz balances out a long hemline with a perfect-fitting strapless bodice, wearing Stella McCartney at the ‘What To Expect When You’re Expecting’ UK premiere.

Cassie cinches her loose-fitting Salvatore Ferragamo Spring 2012 while stepping outside the Martinez Hotel in Cannes with a simple tie-belt, accentuating her waist and giving a more casual vibe to a wild print.

Over the past few weeks, we’ve seen the one-piece look pop up almost everywhere, from glamorous Cannes Film Festival ensembles, as seen on Eva Longoria wearing Elie Saab during a guest appearance on ‘Le Grand Journal’, to casual travelling gear at the airport, a la Diane Kruger, who arrived in Nice wearing a comfortable black number from Anthropologie.

Will you be trying out this new summer trend?
