Nicolas Cage In Ferragamo & Ryan Reynolds In GANT Rugger - 'The Croods' New York Premiere

Nicolas Cage and Ryan Reynolds joined Emma Stone and Blake Lively on the red carpet on Sunday afternoon at the AMC Loews Lincoln Square 13 Theater in New York City for the premiere of ‘The Croods’. They both wore navy, but rocked two very different looks.

Nicolas Cage: Wearing a Ferragamo peak-lapel suit boded well for the 49-year-old actor. It featured two buttons – which shouldn’t both be buttoned – to which he added a simple white shirt. A pair of black lace-ups finished off the look. Nicolas kept it simple, which was smart. The suit fit him well and the trouser length was perfect. We have taken issue with several other actors in recent weeks wearing suits with pants that were way too long.

Ryan Reynolds: Ryan dressed down for the premiere, looking casual in Gant Rugger. His outfit, from the top down, consisted of a well-fitted three-button navy jacket over a deep-neck navy sweater with a shawl collar and slim-fit navy pinstripe pants. To break up the deep-blue hues, Ryan opted for a white crewneck shirt underneath his sweater and a pair of brown leather lace-ups. I liked the look because everything fit very nicely, but it may have been a bit too casual, even for a premiere for an animated movie. A suit sans tie probably would have made a better impression. Never thought I’d say this, but I wish Ryan had taken a tip from Nicolas Cage. Weird, I know.

All in all, both actors looked good. Their film ‘The Croods’ is set for release on March 22 in the US.

Keeping it classic with black tuxedos and bow ties was prevalent on the red carpet at the EE British Academy Film Awards in London on Sunday. But a handful of biggest stars took a chance with navy colours and velvet fabrics. The risks paid off – for the most part.

Ben Affleck: In addition to taking home the award for Best Director, Bendefinitely took home the award for best male grooming. That dark beard looked amazing with his Gucci Made-to-Order midnight blue velvet Marseille tuxedo. His tux displayed two buttons and notch lapels. Along with his tux, Ben wore a skinny collared white shirt, a matching flat tie in a four-in-hand knot, and black leather lace ups.

Bradley Cooper: Everything below the neck looked incredible on the star of ‘Silver Linings Playbook.’ Wearing a Ferragamo midnight navy three-piece tux with black satin peak lapels, Bradley looked every bit the part of a Best Actor nominee. He even paired it with a bow tie that he needs to straighten out. Unfortunately, it looks like the rain got to him and his hair looks a bit sloppy, considering he’s wearing a tux.

Chris Tucker: If there was one man on the red carpet that ruined his look with the little things, it was Chris Tucker. The navy colour looks great, but he went from looking like a stud to looking like a stooge thanks to his accents. Chris is great, funny actor, but it takes a specific type of confidence and power to pull off lapels that wide – Chris doesn’t have it. And that droopy, oversized bow tie isn’t helping matters.

Bradley Cooper In Ferragamo & Tom Ford - ‘Silver Linings Playbook’ Madrid & Paris Premieres

After the 2013 Golden Globe Awards, Bradley Cooper continued his promotional efforts for ‘Silver Linings Playbook’.

He travelled to Europe, where he attended two premieres.

On Wednesday night, he greeted fans wrapped up warm wearing a black wool coat and grey Ralph Lauren scarf over his light-grey Ferragamo suit styled with brown oxford shoes.

The following day he headed to Paris, France, where we got a better look at his dapper Tom Ford warm-brown three-piece suit with a textured tie, dove-grey shirt the same brown shoes he wore previously.

Only 18 days into the new year, Bradley has definitely grabbed my attention, not just because of his piercing blue eyes, day-old stubble and gorgeous grin, but also because of this choice of sharply tailored suits, which he manages to keep varied and interesting.

It’s been a very busy week for Gerard Butler.

On Tuesday he attended the press conference ahead of the Nobel Peace Prize Concert at the Radisson Blu Plaza Hotel in Oslo, Norway.

Looking very handsome in a navy two-button Ermenegildo Zegna suit, he styled the look with a light-blue shirt and navy tie with a grey and yellow stripe.

For the concert, which she shared hosting duties with Sarah Jessica Parker, the actor wore another Ermenegildo Zegna suit. On this occasion he opted for a more sombre charcoal two-button peak lapel suit with a white shirt and light-grey tie.

Yesterday evening he was in London attending the ‘Playing for Keeps’ premiere held at the Apollo Piccadilly Circus.

Dressed head-to-toe in Ferragamo, Gerard opted for a maroon tie for a pop of colour against his all grey look.

The press conference look was my favourite of the three mostly because of the colour. Which look did you prefer?

True fashionistas like Jessica Alba never let their sense of style slack – even while travelling with a sleepy kiddo in tow.

Jessica turns the sidewalks of LAX into a runway in a seemingly effortless coat from Ferragamo’s Fall 2012 collection.

Her head-to-toe travel style gets an extra boost from ruggedly chic leather ankle boots by Rupert Sanderson and her go-to yellow Marc Jacobs ‘Antonia’ bag plus a Ferragamo shoulder bag from the Fall 2012 collection.

This understated look obviously served Jessica well on her travels – her flawless complexion is visibly glowing! If only we could all look so fresh and fabulous while flying home for the holidays.

Our favorite part of Jessica’s jet-set ensemble?

Her daughter Honor Marie’s equally adorable fur vest and red pant look! Like mother, like daughter!
