Camila Alves In Rubin Singer and Matthew McConaughey - Goldene Kamera 2014

Camila Alves and Matthew McConaughey attended the 49th Golden Camera Awards held at Tempelhof Airport on Saturday (February 1) in Berlin, Germany.

Camila Alves: Following her not-so impressive bridal look for the London premiere of ‘Dallas Buyers Club’, the Brazilian beauty was back to her best wearing a stunning Rubin Singer red silk gazar strapless gown with a draped detail cascading from her hip. With so many ‘meh’ looks over the last few weeks, this sees her back to her best.

Matthew McConaughey: Looking dapper in his Saint Laurent suit which consisted of a midnight-blue sparkling shawl-collar blazer, black shirt, black velvet bow-tie, black trousers and black patent leather shoes; Matthew continues to work a range of stylish menswear looks.

Miley Cyrus In Saint Laurent - The Tonight Show with Jay Leno

Miley Cyrus made a guest appearance on ‘The Tonight Show with Jay Leno’ on Thursday (January 30), the night her MTV Unplugged show aired.

The singer donned double denim, knowing that this is Jay Leno’s casual look of choice. They even posed backstage together in their denim-on-denim looks.

While Jay has often said that his denim looks are from Banana Republic, Miley’s look was head-to-toe Saint Laurent.

She wore a blue chambray shirt styled with dark-denim skinny jeans and blue Saint Laurent ‘Jane’ sandals.

A Miley look isn’t complete without some ode to Chanel, so she completed her cheeky look with a vintage Chanel medallion gold-chain belt.

2014 Grammy Awards Menswear RoundupOn the whole, the fashion hit a flat note at the 2014 Grammy Awards, held on Sunday (January 26) at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California. So I was rather relieved, if not mildly amused, to see the guys turn up the volume on their sartorial statements. Here, a roundup of menswear glimpsed at the show.

Pharrell Williams: The singer-producer, who accepted the record of the year trophy with Daft Punk, couldn’t be missed last night, thanks to his absurdly over-sized Vivienne Westwood Mountain Hat. The rest of the look—a red track jacket, jeans and faded untied boots—took a back seat to the mushy, mountie topper, which naturally drew some silly comparisons and a host of memes. But at least there was some attitude on the red carpet.

Daft Punk: The big winners of the night, the ‘Lucky’ French duo danced their way around in head-to-toe Saint Laurent ensembles. Of course, what really made those dark tuxes and bow ties pop were the silver and gold robot heads, the matching metallic gloves, and the Saint Laurent jodhpur boots in silvery glitter leather.

Golden Globes Men 1Flexing their sartorial strength, the guys glammed up for the 2014 Golden Globe Awards, held last night (January 12) at The Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, California. Here, an overview of the handsome highlights.

Matthew McConaughey: The big victor in the best actor category, the ‘Dallas Buyers Club’ star was every bit a winner on the red carpet, too. His Dolce & Gabbana three-piece tuxedo featured a surprising emerald-green velvet blazer with contrasting black peak lapels, adding a swoon-worthy twist on the standard. His touch of scruff, meanwhile, was his way of putting a casual-cool spin on this formal entrance. His wife, Camila Alves, also shone rather brightly in a glittery, black Dolce & Gabbana gown that flaunted her enviable curves.

Chris Pine: Rocking the full beard, the actor embraced the classics with an impeccably tailored Ermenegildo Zegna Couture black, peak grosgrain lapel tuxedo, white dress shirt, and black bow tie. He finished the look with Tod’s black patent loafers and a David Yurman gold pinky ring.

Daisy-Lowe-In-Saint-Laurent-F13The-Wolf-of-Wall-Street-London-Premiere

Daisy Lowe attended the UK premiere of ‘The Wolf of Wall Street’ at Odeon Leicester Square on Thursday (January 9) in London joining Leonardo DiCaprio and Margot Robbie.

The model, who has modelled lingerie in her time, is never afraid to show some skin.

She wore a head-to-toe Saint Laurent look featuring a black beaded sheer dress, a tuxedo jacket, and a leather bra which doesn’t leave much to the imagination.

Rounding out her Saint Laurent look, she added their ‘Betty’ bag and ‘Paris Ranger’ boots, with a gold bracelet and neural makeup providing the finishing touches.

Was she trying too hard? Is this vampy or trashy?

I’m a little on the fence as I find myself liking the look, much to my surprise.

Zosia Mamet In Saint Laurent - 'Girls' Season Three Premiere

Zosia Mamet joined Allison Williams and Lena Dunham on the red carpet for the season three premiere of ‘Girls’ held at Jazz at Lincoln Center on Monday (January 6) in New York City.

I don’t find myself at all surprised to be slightly underwhelmed by this offering, as the actress is yet to wear anything on the red carpet I have really loved, but I don’t dislike the look.

On this occasion she wore a head-to-toe Saint Laurent look featuring a black LBD with bold shoulders and a V-neckline styled with gold cuffs, one featuring the YSL logo, and gold patent pumps.

The black-and-gold theme was incorporated into her nail art, with wavy tresses and a watermelon-pink lip colour rounding out her look.
