Best Dressed Of The Week - Lupita Nyong'o In Prada, Kate Hudson In Atelier Versace & Pink In Elie Saab Couture

With so many great looks to hit the red carpet last week you had trouble picking a clear favourite, so the honour was shared between the fairytale Prada gown worn by Lupita Nyong’o and Kate Hudson’s caped creation from Atelier Versace.

I still have goosebumps from Pink’s Elie Saab Couture red embellished gown. Even though I had this on my wish list for Jessica Chastain, the singer looked outstanding in her Oscar performance look.

Oscars menThe Oscars 2014 on Sunday (March 2), and the ensuing soirees, were a fashion feast for the senses, with high-wattage gowns swishing at every glam turn. But the men provided plenty of eye candy, as well, as they suited up in their sartorial best for the stylish super-event at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, California followed by the Vanity Fair Oscar Party.

Matthew McConaughey: The ‘Dallas Buyers Club’ Best Actor winner not only delivered a compelling acceptance speech, he also was convincingly decked out in a Dolce & Gabbana suit, Louboutin shoes and Chopard cufflinks. Always surprising us with his wild-card jackets, this one was a crispy ivory number, which he handsomely sported with a black vest, white button-down, black trousers and bowtie.

Bradley Cooper: Looking ever so dapper in a black Tom Ford tuxedo, paired with a black bow tie and Chopard cufflinks, the ‘American Hustle’ star and Best Supporting Actor nominee wore a side of handsome scruff with his classic ensemble

Pharrell Williams: Well, he wasn’t wearing the colossal hat, but the ‘Happy’ singer and nominee still turned heads with his cutoffs. The custom head-to-toe Lanvin look featured a black wool shawl-collar, one-button tuxedo with matching shorts, a white tuxedo shirt with ivory pearl buttons, a black satin bowtie and dark gray hand-polished calfskin derbies (sans socks, natch).  Yay or nay?

Models @ The Vanity Fair Oscar Party 2014

Chrissy Tiegen: The ‘Sports Illustrated’ model looked stunning once again wearing a Naeem Khan Fall 2014 black miyuki-beaded strapless sweetheart gown with satin skirt which she styled with Jimmy Choo ‘Mariah’ sandals.

Chanel Iman: Electric-blue and sequins? Chanel had me at hello in this show-stopping Zuhair Murad Fall 2013 Couture gown.

Poppy Delevingne: Someone needs to tell Poppy that dark decadence isn’t her thing. This Dolce & Gabbana gown would look outstanding on Monica Bellucci or Angelina Jolie, but I don’t buy this on Poppy. A rouge lip, red satin pointy pumps and a Jimmy Choo ‘Charlize’ clutch completed her look.

Margot Robbie In Saint Laurent - Vanity Fair Oscar Party 2014

Margot Robbie was pretty much unrecognisable at the 2014 Vanity Fair Oscar party on Sunday (March 2) in West Hollywood, California.

That’s because the blonde is no longer. She’s now a working a dark brunette shade.

She gave the new hue its first outing by wearing a Saint Laurent black strapless gown.

With enriching embellishments on the bodice and a bow detail at the back, she accessorized with Forevermark diamonds.

I hope the new hair will grow on me soon.

Ellen Page In Saint Laurent - Vanity Fair Oscar Party 2014

Ellen Page worked a masculine inspired look with kohl-rimmed eyes while attended the 2014 Vanity Fair Oscar party on Sunday (March 2) in West Hollywood, California.

Wearing head-to-toe Saint Laurent look she wore a Le Smoking jacket accented with a black-and-white houndstooth pocket square styled with a white cotton shirt, black leather leggings, a black leather tie and ‘Wyatt’ ankle boots.

I love this look. It’s honest, true to her style plus she’s rocking the hell out of this suit.
