Laura Whitmore In Safiyaa – Virgin TV BAFTA Television Awards

It was a cold and wet evening yesterday (May 14) in London for the Virgin TV BAFTA Television Awards, but you wouldn’t have guessed that judging by Laura Whitmore.

The TV presenter wore a Safiyaa Spring 2017 classic strapless gown fused with an directional rainbow-hued print to stand out on this busy red carpet.

A slick ponytail would’ve really complimented the gown, however, the tumbling tendrils adds a soft touch to the edgy look.

Her white crepe column gown with sensuous sheer panels was effortlessly styled with a Rauwolf clutch to keep the minimalist theme strong and true.

2015 BET Awards Red Carpet Roundup

2015 BET Awards Red Carpet Roundup

Here is a roundup of the a few more of the attendees from Sundays (June 28) 2015 BET Awards.

Janelle Monae: If it’s got a cape on it, Janelle will wear it. This SAFiYAA cape look is just one of many the singer has donned recently.

La La Anthony: The TV host was one of the few who nailed it at this event. While her Peter Pilotto colourful dress was a shorter re-run from Cindy Crawford’s look from last week, at least this look was season appropriate complete with yellow Giuseppe Zanotti sandals which can’t be missed.

Kelly Rowland: I mean? What the hell is this? Was Kelly trying to audition for ‘Black Swan 2’? This Lever Couture was tragic on so many levels. Too many to count.

Film Independent At LACMA Special Screening Of ‘Mad Men’

Film Independent At LACMA Special Screening Of 'Mad Men'
The Film Independent at LACMA special screening of the final episode of ‘Mad Men’ was on Sunday (May 17) at The Ace Hotel Theatre in Los Angeles, California, where the stars showed up, many who also attended the Television Academy’s ‘Mad Men’ series farewell event on the same day.

Elisabeth Moss
: As I urged the use of a colourful shoe for her previous look at the farewell event, these orange Jerome C. Rousseau ‘Bryant’ peep-toe pumps should have delighted. But they just don’t make sense with this Romona Keveza Fall 2015 black and white dress. A metallic pair that echoed the embellished belt would have been a better choice.

Kiernan Shipka: The starlet charmed in a Valentino Pre-Fall 2015 frock, where the prairie-girl top was given an edge with the perforated leather skirt. Silver sandals and Kwiat jewels completed the sweet-chic look.

Jessica Pare: Staying in very safe territory, Jessica wore a plain-Jane SAFiYAA little black dress that was enlivened a bit with Nicholas Kirkwood embellished pumps and a red lip.

Ashley Tisdale In Alice + Olivia & SAFiYAA – ‘Tomorrowland’ LA Premiere & Turner Network 2015 Upfront

Ashley Tisdale In Alice + Olivia & SAFiYAA - 'Tomorrowland' LA Premiere & Turner Network 2015 Upfront

Ashley Tisdale recently attended the ‘Tomorrowland’ Los Angeles premiere and the Turner Network 2015 Upfront event in New York, crossing the country and completely switching up her look in the process.

‘Tomorrowland’ LA Premiere: For the premiere at AMC Downtown Disney 12 Theatre in Anaheim, California on Saturday (May 9), the actress sparkled in an Alice + Olivia sequin-embellished jacket and ‘Dina’ black pumps. While the shoes bore me to tears, they served to keep the focus firmly on the high shine of the jacket and its flurry of whimsical flower and bird shapes.

Turner Network 2015 Upfront: Taking her look in another direction at New York City’s Madison Square Garden on Wednesday (May 13), she wore SAFiYAA Spring 2015 white separates that mixed a mannish tuxedo coat with the more seductive allure of a white Lovers and Friends crop top and skinny pants. Perhaps due to the humdrum styling, the ensemble just fell a bit flat. A new ‘do and the pop of a bright lip would have been welcome.

Bérénice Marlohe In SAFiYAA – 2015 Film Independent Spirit Awards

Berenice Marlohe In SAFiYAA - 2015 Film Independent Spirit Awards

Bérénice Marlohe made a return to the red carpet for the 2015 Film Independent Spirit Awards on Saturday (February 21) at Santa Monica Beach in Santa Monica, California.

The French actress put on her cocktail best in a SAFiYAA body-con black dress with contrast netted detailing at the shoulders and waist, which fit her like a glove.

Still maintaining her heavy eye makeup, her smoky eye contributed a sense of sultriness to the otherwise straightforward look. Yet there seemed to be an effort to also translate a more casual flair with her wispy, intentionally messy updo.

I believe if she had traded her standard-issue black pumps for a more interesting pair of sandals, I would have liked this LBD even more. As is, I like it from the waist up, as her radiant smile carries the look.

2nd Annual Unite4:humanity Event Red Carpet Roundup

2nd Annual Unite4humanity Event Red Carpet Roundup

Here is a roundup from the 2nd Annual unite4:humanity Event at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on Thursday (February 19) in Los Angeles, California.

Beth Behrs: I’m loving everything about Beth’s SAFiYAA suiting look, especially the black and blue printed jacquard blazer. I would’ve preferred cigarette or cropped trousers, but this wide-leg pair give the look a cool vibe strengthened by the kohl-rimmed eyes and sexy bed-hair. Pointy silver pumps and a Thalé Blanc clutch accessorized her look,

Sarah Hyland: You’ll be surprised to learn that this striped strapless dress is by Maria Lucia Hohan. Yes, she’s finally serving up something new, which is perfectly showcased by the ‘Modern Family’ actress. Sweetly alluring, the bodice is very much the focal point, imbuing head-turning charisma in this elegant retro design.

Amy Poehler: Sticking to safe black, this Tadashi Shoji look serves her well. Both the pattern design and leather belt steer this look on the side of ladylike elegance. I can’t remember the last time I liked an Amy look as much as this.
