Cynthia Erivo In Rosie Assoulin – 2018 Whitney Gala

Cynthia Erivo took to the mauve carpet before her performance at the 2018 Whitney Gala on Tuesday (May 22) in New York City.

She let the sunshine in wearing a bright yellow Rosie Assoulin ‘Let Me Live’ dress from the Spring 2018 collection.

I’m naturally attracted to the bold colour of the dress, but I’m puzzled by the gold metallic pumps with such a carefree summery dress.

I didn’t like this look when Greta Gerwig a blue version to the Independent Spirit Awards, but I’m not having that same strong reaction to Cynthia. Perhaps I just prefer it in yellow.

Naomie Harris In Schiaparelli Couture & Rosie Assoulin – ‘Rampage’ Shanghai Premiere & LA Press Conference

Naomie Harris has been a busy lady jetting across the world to promote ‘Rampage.’ She attended the premiere on Sunday (April 8) in Shanghai, China, following the press conference in West Hollywood, California on Friday (April 6).

‘Rampage’ Shanghai Premiere: I was completely wowed when I saw the English actress in this Schiaparelli Spring 2018 Couture gown. The dramatic silhouette has a divine princess quality but the tribal-like geometric design created such a dynamic effect. The additional layers made the style more impactful while allowing her to preserve her modesty.

Yara Shahidi In Rosie Assoulin – The Hollywood Reporter And Jimmy Choo Power Stylists Dinner

Yara Shahidi showed her support at The Hollywood Reporter And Jimmy Choo Power Stylists Dinner on Tuesday (March 20) in Los Angeles, California, alongside Elle Fanning.

Ever the fashion maven, the ‘Grown-ish’ actress sported a Rosie Assoulin Spring 2018 ensemble with Jimmy Choo ‘Anouk’ pumps.

In addition to invoking a springtime feeling, the style was a delight of contrasts with a prim blouse being modified into a crop top with bow details.

I was pleased to see that she cuffed the extra-long sleeves so the focus remained on the full top against the pleated skirt.

The cameo pattern brought some colour and a flirty touch while playing up the folds in the fabric.

Greta Gerwig In Rosie Assoulin – 2018 Film Independent Spirit Awards

Greta Gerwig presented a very summery outlook for the 2018 Film Independent Spirit Awards on Saturday (March 3) in Santa Monica, California.

Vintage glamour is fully captured in this Rosie Assoulin Spring 2018 open back dress.

While I like how the white lace embroidery gives the look extra feminine definition, I wasn’t a huge fan of how the dress looked from the side, as it felt like too much was going and the lines didn’t flow so freely, possibly due to the pleating at the back.

90th Annual Academy Awards Nominee Luncheon Red Carpet Roundup

The 90th Annual Academy Awards Nominee Luncheon on Monday (February 5) in Beverly Hills, California saw more stars in attendance along with Saoirse Ronan, Greta Gerwig and Margot Robbie.

Laurie Metcalf: While many attendees opted for shorter frocks, Laurie went for a long Temperley London gown that featured a striking metallic pattern. Yet, it was geared more to an evening red carpet. Pierre Hardy ‘Blondie’ sandals completed her look.

Allison Janney: I like the rich, inky colour of this Georges Chakra Couture Fall 2017 dress. It’s the illusion neckline and side cutouts that offer a less modern element.

Sally Hawkins: I think the extra-roomy proportions of this dotted Rosie Assoulin Spring 2018 ensemble created more of a loungewear vibe than was likely intended.

Issa Rae In Rosie Assoulin – ‘Black Panther’ World Premiere

As always, Issa Rae looked like she was having a ball on the red carpet while attending the world premiere of Marvel Studios’ ‘Black Panther’ on Monday (January 29) in Hollywood, California.

The actress tried to recreate the models efforts to showcase the most prominent detail of her Rosie Assoulin Resort 2018 dress, which instantly took me back to 2010 when Blake Lively tried to recreate the billowing runway effect in her Lanvin look.

The colours of the panel are inspired by the bold bouquets sold at New York bodegas and are a striking contrast to the minimal tone dress.

I love that Issa kept the other details of her look to a bronze hue as not to upstage the dress.
