Anne Hathaway In Roksanda Ilincic – ‘Rio 2′ Miami Premiere

Anne Hathaway In Roksanda Ilincic - 'Rio 2' Miami PremiereAnne Hathaway made a stunningly vivid splash on the red carpet at the ‘Rio 2’ Miami premiere, held at the Fountainbleau Miami Beach in Florida on Friday (March 21).

Fully embracing the energetic spirit of the city, the actress couldn’t have made a bolder impact in her vibrant Roksanda Ilincic Pre-Fall 2014 royal-purple and red colour-block strapless dress.

The architectural frock featured the same rippled, half-fold wrap detail that we saw on Jessica Pare’s recent look from this collection.

Echoing the bright hues of the dress, she painted on a magenta lip and wore Charlotte Olympia lilac platform pumps, which were the only element I would have changed, as the chunky heels were in slight discord with the rest of the look.

With Anne typically selecting more restrained shades of black and neutrals, this long-awaited tidal wave of colour delivered a brilliant shock factor.

Rona Pfeiffer ring accessorized her look.

Jessica Pare In Roksanda Ilincic – PaleyFest 2014 Honouring ‘Mad Men’

Jessica Pare In Roksanda Ilincic - PaleyFest 2014 Honouring 'Mad Men'Jessica Pare was also at the PaleyFest 2014, in support of ‘Mad Men,’ hosted at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, California on Friday (March 21), along with Kiernan Shipka and Elisabeth Moss.

The actress was beautiful in a Roksanda Ilincic Pre-Fall 2014 dusky-blue, herringbone-print dress.

The designer’s signature sculptural silhouette and use of bold colours were dramatized here via the artsy pop of citrus-orange that peeked through the half-wrap fold on the side.

Her raven-hued locks, swept back into retro-style waves, were only enhanced by the blue tones of the frock, whilst a coral lip referenced the bright melon shades.

While I understand her philosophy in letting the dress take centre stage, opting for neutral accessories, I’m not quite sold on the nude coloration of her handbag and Christian Louboutin ‘So Kate’ pumps. However, they’re still worlds above the lookbook’s sneakers.

Anita Ko Chain earrings completed her look.

Fall 2014 Celebrity Looks On ModaOperandi

Fall 2014 Celebrity Looks On ModaOperandi

The current Fall 2014 trunk shows feature a few looks we’ve recently seen on the red carpet.

Poppy Delevingne wore Emilia Wickstead’s funnel-neck crop top with sheer-lace bonding throughout with the high-waist wrap skirt while attending the Elle Style Awards last month. She was spotted the following day doing the walk of shame wearing an Emilia Wickstead jacquard silver floral coat featuring a notched collar and a caban silhouette while making her way home.

Cate Blanchett’s Roksanda Ilincic ‘Sand Lea’ sleeveless felted-wool dress – which features a bateau neckline and multicolour abstract-floral inset, as worn to the Film Independent Spirit Awards earlier this month – is also available.

As is Allison Williams’ stunning Emilia Wickstead pink wool-crepe finale dress with an open back, which was worn to the Vanity Fair party.

Check out all the current Fall 2014 trunk shows, including Antonio Berardi, Isabel Marant, Equipment, Mary Katrantzou, Peter Pilotto, Rosie Assoulin and many more.

Cate Blanchett In Roksanda Ilincic – Film Independent Spirit Awards 2014

Cate Blanchett In Roksanda Ilincic - Film Independent Spirit Awards 2014

Cate Blanchett took to the ‘blue’ carpet at the 2014 Film Independent Spirit Awards at Santa Monica Beach in Santa Monica, California today (March 1).

The ‘Blue Jasmine’ actress and Best Female Lead nominee put forth a fashion-forward entrance, donning a Roksanda Ilincic Fall 2014 felt dress that fused large, colour-block panels of burgundy and sand accented with a cornflower-blue flower shape.

Cinched with the shine of a significant, gold metallic belt, which obviously precluded the need for jewels, the relaxed, above-the-ankle silhouette took on a mod urban appeal.

Creamy nude Nicholas Kirkwood cutout sandals put the directional look on casually chic ground, whereas a metallic pair would have taken it to a dressier level. I’m just glad she skipped the runway footwear for this occasion.

With her hair loosely pulled back into a fishtail braid and with barely the slick of makeup to her name, I love how effortlessly Cate pulls off this trendsetting look, taking it into timelessly elegant territory, as well.

The singer, who has fully embraced colour recently, wore a directional Roksanda Ilincic Spring 2014 sleeveless fit-and-flare dress.

Her futuristic colour-block frock in orange, white and black with a neon-yellow panel which draws the eye, was styled with white glitter Louboutin pumps and a selection of jewels.

Expressive nail art and silvery eye makeup completed her look.

This look couldn’t be a more perfect choice for Lily and her fun-loving personality.
