Red Carpet Fashion Awards

Marisa Tomei surprisingly took in the Berluti Menswear Spring/Summer 2013 show during Menswear Paris Fashion Week at the Jardin du Palais Royal in France on Friday.

The actress wore a Roksanda Ilincic Pre-Fall 2012 dress we saw on the red carpet just six days ago courtesy of Princess Beatrice.

Like Beatrice, Marisa opted for some funky footwear, selecting the blue ‘Demi Circle’ peep-toes by Aperlai.

I love the dress and I’m lusting after the shoes, but I don’t like them together.

Marisa’s sleek sophisticated dress is totally overwhelmed by the heels. I saw the shoes before the dress.

Had the shoes been in a solid colour, I think it would’ve worked for me, but they’re too busy and distracting for this look.

A simple updo and nude clutch completed the look.

Princess Beatrice attended the Britain Creates 2012: Fashion & Art Collusion VIP Gala, held at the Old Selfridges Hotel in London this evening.

My favourite royal wore a dress from one of my favourite designers; Roksanda Ilincic.

I love how her elegant blush wool-crepe long-sleeve dress has contrasting royal-blue (pun intended) ruffled cuffs.

She opted for blue patterned Nicholas Kirkwood platform heels and added a pop of pink via her Anya Hindmarch glitter clutch to complete her head-to-toe look of British-based designers.

Now if only Beatrice could introduce Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge to Nicholas Kirkwood shoes, I would be eternally grateful.

Shop Princess Beatrice’s look.

‘The Amazing Spider-Man” promo tour continued to roll with Emma Stone, Andrew Garfield and Rhys Ifans attending a photocall at the Villamagna Hotel in Madrid, Spain this afternoon.

Emma wore a Roksanda Ilincic Fall 2012 dress.

Her classic colour-block burgundy sheath dress has a contemporary twist with a teal blue flounced hem.

I love the unexpected addition of the black-and-white Christian Louboutin ankle strap peep-toes.

Melinda Maria jewels, retro waves and a deep burgundy lip colour to complement her dress completed her look.

Emily Blunt joined her ‘The Five-Year Engagement’ co-star Jason Segal for a photocall in Germany on Monday evening.

The actress wore a Roksanda Ilincic Pre-Fall 2012 ‘Amu’ dress.

The red wool-crepe dress features a cowling neckline and a navy back-panel, as well as an unexpected yellow trim along the side.

Nude Giuseppe Zanotti booties help elongate the actress’ legs.

Whilst I love these chic peep-toes, Emily may have been better off with classic nude heels to match the dress’ lady-like silhouette.

A shoulder-length ombre bob, Ista jewelry and simple makeup finish her look.

The Bond babes both looked beautiful in blue attending the photocall for the latest Bond movie, ‘Skyfall’, at Ciragan Palace on Sunday in Istanbul, Turkey.

British actress Naomie Harris matched her Sergio Rossi blue suede pumps to a gorgeous electric-blue lace dress.

She opted to simply style her look with loose waves and flawless makeup.

Bérénice Marlohe may not have got it so right in the shoe department, but she did look lovely wearing a Roksanda Ilincic Spring 2012 dress.

Her aqua ‘Lola’ dress features a slash neck, draped slit cap sleeves and diagonal pleated pinches on the front and back to create a draped effect, is more fitted aroung the waist which I prefer to the loose runway version.

The French actress swept her enviable wavy brunette locks over one shoulder with the finishing touches including smouldering smoky eyes and a rose-pink lip colour.

One of my favourite looks of the year so far came courtesy of Ginnifer Goodwin wearing a striking neon pink Roksanda Ilincic Spring 2012 dress.

The actress wore this pink ‘Margot’ lantern sleeve dress to the 2012 People’s Choice Awards back in January.

Her dress was styled with Van Cleef and Arpels jewelry, Jimmy Choo ‘Kyrle’ ankle boots and a black Kzeniya envelope clutch added a slightly tougher edge to her look.

Coleen Rooney was spotted at Aintree yesterday heading to her private box with friends wearing the same dress, which was accented with a black patent leather belt.

The WAG also added a black clutch and towering peep-toe Louboutins to her look.

Ginnifer wins for me.

I love the knee-length version of her dress. Her look was so stylish and effortless.

I also prefer her sleek marcel waves to Coleen’s backcombed bouffant.
