Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge In Roksanda Ilincic – UK’s Creative Industries Reception

Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge attended the UK’s Creative Industries Reception at the Royal Academy of Arts in London this evening, following a day of supporting Zara Phillips during her equestrian competition during the 2012 Olympics.

At this point we expect repeats from the Duchess, so you won’t be surprised to know that her Roksanda Ilincic Spring 2011 ‘Peridot’ dress has been worn once before.

The dove grey dress with a draped neckline, pleated front skirt and cinched in waist was thankfully styled with a new hairdo. Hallelujah.

The neat low bun is welcome change to her trademark flowing tresses.

Olympic ring-style Kiki McDonough earrings, grey suede LK Bennett pumps to match her dress and a sparkling clutch completed her look.

Samantha Cameron In Roksanda Ilincic – 2012 Olympics Opening Ceremony

Samantha Cameron attended the 2012 Olympics opening ceremony in London on Friday evening wearing yet another look from one of her favourite London-based designers, Roksanda Ilincic.

On this occasion she was the red to Michelle’s white and Catherine’s blue on a very patriotic night for all concerned.

Sam’s Pre-Fall 2012 ensemble consisted of a red sleeveless top with a navy blue panel, which she paired with black pants.

A navy Emilia Wickstead belt completed her look.

Who Wore Roksanda Ilincic Better? Princess Beatrice or Marisa Tomei

Princess Beatrice and Marisa Tomei wore this Roksanda Ilincic Pre-Fall 2012 dress just two days apart.

Their blush-tone ‘Izumi’ dress with a rounded neckline and long sleeves that lead into royal-blue frilled cuffs was a great look for both of them.

Princess Beatrice was the first to take the dress for a spin on the red carpet when she wore it to the ‘Britain Creates 2012’ Fashion & Art Gala in London.

The young royal’s sophisticated look was styled with Nicholas Kirkwood printed blue pumps and a gold Anya Hindmarch glitter clutch.

Marisa Tomei wore her dress during the Berluti private dinner during Paris Menswear Spring 2013 Fashion Week.

The brunette actress paired her look with a nude clutch bag and Aperlai colour-block heels in varying shades of blue.

I love the dress on both, so it comes down to the styling.

As you know, I thought Marisa’s shoes upstaged her dress somewhat, so Beatrice’s pitch-perfect styling of her dress makes her a winner in my eyes.

Marisa Tomei In Roksanda Ilincic – Berluti Private Dinner

Marisa Tomei surprisingly took in the Berluti Menswear Spring/Summer 2013 show during Menswear Paris Fashion Week at the Jardin du Palais Royal in France on Friday.

The actress wore a Roksanda Ilincic Pre-Fall 2012 dress we saw on the red carpet just six days ago courtesy of Princess Beatrice.

Like Beatrice, Marisa opted for some funky footwear, selecting the blue ‘Demi Circle’ peep-toes by Aperlai.

I love the dress and I’m lusting after the shoes, but I don’t like them together.

Marisa’s sleek sophisticated dress is totally overwhelmed by the heels. I saw the shoes before the dress.

Had the shoes been in a solid colour, I think it would’ve worked for me, but they’re too busy and distracting for this look.

A simple updo and nude clutch completed the look.

Princess Beatrice In Roksanda Ilincic – Britain Creates 2012: Fashion & Art Collusion VIP Gala

Princess Beatrice attended the Britain Creates 2012: Fashion & Art Collusion VIP Gala, held at the Old Selfridges Hotel in London this evening.

My favourite royal wore a dress from one of my favourite designers; Roksanda Ilincic.

I love how her elegant blush wool-crepe long-sleeve dress has contrasting royal-blue (pun intended) ruffled cuffs.

She opted for blue patterned Nicholas Kirkwood platform heels and added a pop of pink via her Anya Hindmarch glitter clutch to complete her head-to-toe look of British-based designers.

Now if only Beatrice could introduce Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge to Nicholas Kirkwood shoes, I would be eternally grateful.

Emma Stone In Roksanda Ilincic – ‘The Amazing Spider-Man’ Madrid Photocall

‘The Amazing Spider-Man” promo tour continued to roll with Emma Stone, Andrew Garfield and Rhys Ifans attending a photocall at the Villamagna Hotel in Madrid, Spain this afternoon.

Emma wore a Roksanda Ilincic Fall 2012 dress.

Her classic colour-block burgundy sheath dress has a contemporary twist with a teal blue flounced hem.

I love the unexpected addition of the black-and-white Christian Louboutin ankle strap peep-toes.

Melinda Maria jewels, retro waves and a deep burgundy lip colour to complement her dress completed her look.

You can buy Emma’s Christian Louboutin heels from Net-A-Porter International and Saks.com.
