Mandy Moore In Roksanda – NBCUniversal Summer TCA Press Tour

Mandy Moore attended the NBCUniversal Summer TCA Press Tour on Thursday (August 3) in Beverly Hills, California.

Her style transformation hasn’t gone unnoticed by us.

What I love about it is she’s not gone Lela Rose to Balmain; she’s just exploring other designers and different silhouettes.

On this occasion she wore a unique Roksanda Resort 2018 frock with a contrasting ruffled collar which lends volume and more definition than the asymmetrical hemline. I feel the dress would’ve been too one dimensional without this detail.

Comic-Con 2017 Weekend Roundup

A constellation of more stars were at Comic-Con 2017 in San Diego, California throughout this past weekend.

Naomi Watts: Attending the ‘Twin Peaks: A Damn Good Panel,’ Naomi played to a vintage spirit in this Roksanda Resort 2018 colour-block design. Perhaps it was the combination of hues that had somewhat of an aging effect on her.

Krysten Ritter: Taking a graphic, black-and-white approach, Krysten was at ‘Marvel’s The Defenders’ press line in a Prabal Gurung Pre-Fall 2017 dress. I love the striking attitude of the look in partnership with her ruby-red lip and Kurt Geiger booties for a touch of rebel edge.

Kaley Cuoco: This exploded Alice + Olivia Resort 2018 pinstripe shirt dress translated more like an afterthought with the slouchy, undone front and the head-scratching, chunky shoes when Kaley stopped by ‘The Big Bang Theory’ panel.

Laura Carmichael In Roksanda – Downton Abbey: The Exhibition

The ‘Downtown Abbey: The Exhibition’ event took place at the Sands Expo and Convention Centre on Tuesday (June 21) in Singapore, with of the lead actresses Laura Carmichael in attendance.

It’s no secret that I’m not the biggest fan of Laura’s style, but the contrast of the matte and patent horizontal panels of her Roksanda Spring 2017 dress keeps me interested.

The silhouette was typically simple as were the accessories and hair, so I was thankful for addtion of red lipstick to attempt to lift the look.

V&A Summer Party

A whole host of stars attended the V&A summer party on Wednesday (June 21) in London,

Princess Beatrice of York: Deciding to go darker than most in attendance, Princess Beatrice opted for a Self-Portrait ruffled guipure lace midi dress. The tiered sheer dress may have been the perfect antidote to the heat but her Jimmy Choo pumps really weighed down the look.

Sai Bennett: This Temperley London Fall 2017 dress was utterly appropriate for the event, I especially love the front slit and gorgeous floral print which feels particularly summery. Some simple gold accessories and brown wedges tied this look together perfectly.

Donna Air: This lightweight Three Floor tiered lace dress looked incredibly feminine and pretty. The high-neck ruffles worked well with Donna’s swept back hair and round frame sunglasses. The silhouette is also incredibly flattering, with just the right amount of breathable cut-outs.

‘The Beguiled’ LA Premiere Red Carpet Roundup

More stars took to the red carpet for ‘The Beguiled’ LA premiere on Monday (June 12), joining Nicole Kidman, Elle Fanning, and Kirsten Dunst.

Emma Howard: Self-Portrait’s signature lace was put to work in this one-shoulder, cutout dress from the Fall 2017 collection. My biggest issue here was with her eggplant-hued platform sandals, as they completely compromised any allure of the frock.

Sofia Coppola: While this Valentino Pre-Fall 2017 dress was very much in keeping with Sofia’s no-nonsense, effortless-chic aesthetic—as well as her favouritism for the colour black—I love the delicate femininity afforded by the pink floral print with her makeup echoing that boho-romantic spirit.

Courtney Love: Silk-satin dresses can be tricky to wear, and unfortunately this Roksanda Zenku Spring 2017 open-back design fails to flatter, between the droopy sleeves and the dropped waistline. The heavy-handed makeup and equally intense shoes don’t help matters here at all.
