Daisy Ridley In Roksanda & David Koma – Good Morning America & Star Wars ‘Force 4 Fashion’ Event

Daisy Ridley In Roksanda & David Koma - Good Morning America & Star Wars ‘Force 4 Fashion’ Event

Red carpet newbie Daisy Ridley is the lead actress of ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’.

She kick started her first promo tour yesterday (December 2) with an appearance on Good Morning America, before headed to the Star Wars ‘Force 4 Fashion’ Event with co-star Lupita Nyong’o.

GMA: Getting her campaign off to an amazing start, the British actress wore a Roksanda colour-block dress which married a prim silhouette, with a classic touch via the bouclé herringbone waist panel and a slight edge imbued via the vivid pink silk ruffle stand collar.

Star Wars ‘Force 4 Fashion’: Her second look was a white zip front dress from David Koma’s Spring 2016 collection which I love for chic play on Princess Leia’s classic white outfit. Gianvito Rossi silver toe pumps added yet another layer of fashion forward appeal to this look.

I’m adding Daisy straight to my one-to-watch list.

WWD And Variety’s Stylemakers Event

WWD And Variety's Stylemakers Event

The WWD And Variety inaugural stylemakers’ event took place at Smashbox Studios on Thursday (November 19) in Culver City, California.

Kerry Washington: While I am enjoying the nautical inspiration of her Saloni Spring 2016 off-the-shoulder top and skirt, the striped Nicholas Kirkwood shoes were a graphic step too far.

Freida Pinto: I love how the Indian actress added some much needed colour to this red carpet. Her bright yellow Roksanda ticked all my boxes: fun, flirty and fabulous. Casadei sandals and a box clutch completed her look.

Kate Holmes: The actress wore a refinded look from Zac Posen, which I have to say I love. From the silk blouse to the embellished skirt, this look oozes lady-like appeal.

Tessa Thompson In Roksanda, Mary Katrantzou, Kimora Lee Simmons, Altuzarra & Rodarte – ‘Creed’ Promotion

Tessa Thompson In Roksanda, Kimora Lee Simmons, Altuzarra & Rodarte - 'Creed' Promotion

Tessa Thompson was back on the promotional trail supporting her new movie, ‘Creed’ with several appearances this weekend.

Cast Of Creed Appearance at Philadelphia Museum of Art: On Friday (November 6) the actress was looking effortlessly cool wearing an outfit comprised of intriguing pieces. While my eyes fell straight to her Mary Katrantzou striped skirt, one can’t help but overlook the chicness of her Roksanda short sleeve coat. The simplicity of the Kimora Lee Simmons brings it all together, but it’s the Sophia Webster ‘Layla’ sandals which are the hero piece of this look. Some would be afraid to mix two pieces with multiple colours in one look, but they work in perfect union here.

Philadelphia Screening: Later that same evening the actress was spotted at the United Artists Riverview Plaza 17 Movie Theater wearing an Altuzarra Fall 2015 dress. Even though its leather and features a deep plunge and slit, I find this a more demure take on Altuzarra’s signature sensuality. While I can’t get on board with the pumps here, I do love the Les Petits Joueurs ‘Sol E Luna’ clutch.

Toronto Screening: For her final look Tessa served up a sweet girlishness I’m still struggling to associate with Rodarte. This effervescent Spring 2016 paisley print dress with velvet and lace trims which was styled with metallic gold t-strap sandals. This was my favourite of the three.

Naomie Harris In Roksanda & Dion Lee – OMEGA ‘Spectre’ New York Screening & Cocktail Event

Naomie Harris In Roksanda & Dion Lee - OMEGA 'Spectre' New York Screening & Cocktail Event

Naomie Harris attended the New York OMEGA ‘Spectre’ screening and cocktail party on Wednesday (November 4) in New York City, where she served up two very different strapless frocks.

OMEGA ‘Spectre’ New York Screening: First up was a dexterously crafted Roksanda Resort 2016 leather number which is beautifully cut with an artistically pleated and draped front to further elevate the silhouette. From the fabrication to the dual-hues, this truly set it apart from the strapless frock norm. The look was styled with Gisueeppe Zanotti sandals and Dauphino earrings.

Cocktail Event: I love how the strapless silhouette of her Dion Lee Resort 2016 dress is enhanced with sharp pleats at the skirt for a dose of entrance-making movement. This look was also styled with Gisueeppe Zanotti sandals.

2015 Harper’s Bazaar Women of the Year Awards Red Carpet Roundup

2015 Harper’s Bazaar Women of the Year Awards Red Carpet Roundup

Here is a roundup from the 2015 Harper’s Bazaar Women of the Year Awards held at Claridges Hotel on Tuesday (November 3) in London, England.

Sienna Miller: Some may have regarded Sienna’s red carpet style a tad hit and miss during her promo tour for ‘Burnt’, but I am sure there will be no doubt that this pretty Valentino pale-blue and nude gown is a hit. She was the only bright spark on a truly underwhelming night.

Ruth Wilson: Before you totally rule out this Brandon Maxwell Spring 2016 LBD as a snooze, let me point out that the skirt possess a pleated panel which isn’t photographing too well here.

Erin O’Connor: The model wore a look from Roksanda’s Spring 2016 collection styled with Nicholas Kirkwood shoes. I’m usually a huge fan of ALL things worn by Erin, but this is feeling a tad washed out to me.
