Margot Robbie In Rodarte – ‘I, Tonya’ Paris Premiere

Margot Robbie attended the Paris premiere of her award-winning film ‘I, Tonya’ looking like she’d stepped out of the pages of a fairytale.

The actress looked enchanting wearing a pale pink custom Rodarte gown with a semi-sheer polka-dot overlay, delicate beading and floral embellishments.

She styled the gown with a collection of Messika jewels, deep burgundy manicure and smoldering red lip.

I’m going to go on record to say this is her best look so far this year. Or her best red carpet look ever.

The Art of Elysium presents John Legend’s HEAVEN Gala

As to be expected, there was a rush of stars at the 11th annual edition of The Art of Elysium Presents John Legend’s HEAVEN was held on Saturday (January 6) in Santa Monica, California.

Ashley Madekwe: I was a bit surprised to see Ashley donning the Rodarte Fall 2017 look that Nicole Kidman wore to the 2017 Cannes Film Festival. I will say the proportions of the glittery, ruffled look seemed a bit better suited to Ashley.

Rooney Mara: The actress looks to be continuing 2018 with her favoured colour palette of black and white with this Givenchy Spring 2018 lace-accented, asymmetrical dress.

Vanessa Hudgens: I like the enchanting sweep of this Alberta Ferretti Fall 2017 cape gown styled with an Emm Kuo clutch. What betrays the look a bit is the heavy-handed, rust-hued eye makeup, which is a bit too much in the red colour family.

Laura Dern In Rodarte & Calvin Klein – SiriusXM & 38th Annual Muse Awards

As Laura Dern continues the ‘Star Wars: The Last Jedi’ promo circuit, she stopped by the SiriusXM studios in New York City on Wednesday (December 14) before attending the 38th Annual Muse Awards later that day.

SiriusXM: The signature edgy-girlishness of the Rodarte label was put to work in this Spring 2018 look. But, it was plenty well-suited to the current season for its darker mood that put a different twist on leather and lace—courtesy of ruffles and grommets. Naturally, the semi-sheer top and tall boots added a layer of sultry appeal that was also a more serious and straightforward way to style the look than its original runway presentation.

Muse Awards: I like how the sharper, geometric grosgrain bodice of this Calvin Klein Fall 2017 frock was juxtaposed with its more classic, ladylike fit-and-flared skirt for a new take on modern feminity.

Laura has not really impressed with her tour thus far, but I feel like she may be turning a corner into more successful sartorial territory with these latest looks that are an improvement. Would you agree?

Chloe Sevigny In Rodarte – Downtown Race Riot Opening Night

Chloe Sevigny was at the opening night of the new play, ‘Downtown Race Riot,’ on Sunday (December 3) in New York City.

Never one to shy away from pushing the envelope on style, she donned what can only be described as a highly decorative Rodarte Spring 2018 ensemble.

I was getting a certain flamenco vibe in the ruffled cropped top mixed with a gaucho-influenced, modern femininity in the pants.

But, with her incredibly substantial gold earrings echoing the golden bow at her waist, not to mention her sleek bun and crimson lip, Chloe pulled off the theatrics of the look perfectly.

Saoirse Ronan In Rodarte – 2017 Gotham Independent Film Awards

Saoirse Ronan was the belle of the ball at the 2017 Gotham Independent Film Awards on Monday (November 27), where she was honoured with Best Actress for ‘Lady Bird’.

The actress wore a Rodarte Spring 2018 gown which fuses frothy white tulle and lace with exquisite fuchsia embroidery for an enchanting choice for after dark.

I love how the flutter trims and delicate tiered lace at the hem lend an inherently feminine finish, along with the delicate Tiffany earrings.

I’m very excited about Saoirse’s first look at the start of awards season.
