Natalie Portman In Rodarte – ‘A Tale Of Love And Darkness’ Cannes Film Festival Photocall

Natalie Portman In Rodarte – ‘A Tale Of Love And Darkness’ Cannes Film Festival Photocall

Following last night’s premiere Natalie Portman attended a photocall for ‘A Tale Of Love And Darkness’ during the 68th annual Cannes Film Festival on Sunday (May 17) in Cannes, France.

The fashion gods appeared to have heard Prudence, Alina and Emma’s prayers, as Natalie was finally reunited with Rodarte this afternoon.

The actress looked radiant wearing a sheer black Rodarte Fall 2015 with plenty of intriguing detailing to ensure this was a standout piece.

The look is modern – something that has been lacking from her red carpet repertoire for a while – enticing and not lacking in the joie de vivre department.

Lets continue to pray that the shackles have been loosen to allow more magic moments like this.

Needless to say, this is her best in a while, a very long while.

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley In Rodarte – ‘Mad Max: Fury Road’ LA Premiere

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley In Rodarte - ‘Mad Max Fury Road’ LA Premiere

There were a variety of styles on the red carpet for the premiere of ‘Mad Max: Fury Road’ at TCL Chinese Theatre on Thursday (May 7) in Hollywood, California.

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley was relied upon to bring the sex appeal, and boy, did she deliver.

Forgoing a gown, frou-frou-ness and rock chick leathers, the British model/actress wore a sexy short ensemble from Rodarte’s Fall 2015 collection.

This look is particularly noteworthy for its bead embellishments, resulting in a statement-making look that grants her with laudable style cred.

FKA Twigs In Rodarte – Swarovski’s 120th Anniversary Gala

FKA Twigs In Rodarte - Swarovski’s 120th Anniversary Gala

FKA twigs attended Swarovski’s 120th Anniversary Gala on Tuesday (April 28) in Wattens, Austria.

Her unique sense of style lives on in this Rodarte Spring 2015 look dominated by the whimsy of a seafoam-green netted dress that shimmers with the embellishment of Swarovski crystals.

Black ruffle sleeves and sheer detailing at the neckline struck a darker note to the pastel hues, providing a sense of messy discord that added intrigue of the design.

The singer’s tall black lace-up boots were a natural fit for her strong style attitude, with the boldest ruby lip and crown of braids following suit.

With this entrance, she showed the darker side of glitter as befitting her signature edge. Yay or nay?

Chloe Sevigny In Rodarte – 2015 Morbid Anatomy Museum Gala

Chloe Sevigny In Rodarte - 2015 Morbid Anatomy Museum Gala
Chloë Sevigny was back on the scene at the 2015 Morbid Anatomy Museum gala on Tuesday (April 21) in New York City.

Rather befitting to the event, the actress selected a Rodarte Spring 2015 dress styled with the same gladiator-inspired, webbed shoes seen on the runway.

Inspired by aquatic themes, the frock’s netted overlay and collection of trinket embroideries inspired a somewhat macabre mood, especially when styled with a gothic red lip and slicked-back hair.

The patchwork craftsiness of this design was never a favourite of mine, although marginal improvement could have come with Chloë’s styling, including the removal of the choker necklace and a less morose beauty approach.

That said, I suppose the look fits the bill for any event with ‘morbid anatomy’ in its name.

Hailee Steinfeld In Rodarte – 2015 MTV Movie Awards

Hailee Steinfeld In Rodarte - 2015 MTV Movie Awards

Hailee Steinfeld attended the 2015 MTV Movie Awards at Nokia Theatre L.A. Live on Sunday (April 12) in Los Angeles, California.

Continuing her experimental streak, her latest look from the Rodarte Spring 2015 collection shows the starlet’s fearless, trend-forward style.

Wearing the ensemble as presented on the runway from the waist down, she exchanged the sweater for a forest-green, sheer chiffon blouse, creating a lighter, more diaphanous effect.

The Victoriana ruffled blouse, netted, wave-embroidered skirt, and webbed, lace-up Rodarte heels all created an edgy, artfully crazed spirit.

The cluttered, conceptual outfit could have easily turned swamp monster on some. But Hailee managed to somehow pull it off while maintaining a level of youthful sophistication—even if I did want to yank off that netted fabric.
