Zoe Saldana In Rodarte – ‘Star Trek Into Darkness’ LA Premiere

Before Zoe Saldana hits Cannes Film Festival on Monday to promote her next project ‘Blood Ties’ with Marion Cotillard, she hit the red carpet at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, California on Tuesday evening for the ‘Star Trek Into Darkness’ LA premiere.

Giving us our second look at the Rodarte Fall 2013 collection in so many days, the actress was the picture of perfection, wearing a nude silk embroidered dress.

Instead of styling the look with the barbed-wire accessories we saw on Chloe Sevigny yesterday, Zoe added pearl-accented Aurelie Bidermann jewels.

Along with her red lippie, a further pop of colour came via her orange-and-gold Oscar Tiye heels.

An effortless updo and a Rodarte white-and-gold knit cardigan, which we see her wearing in some pictures, completed her BDOTW-worthy look.

Surely it’s not that cold in LA. She won’t be needing a cardigan when she hits Cannes next week.

Chloe Sevigny In Rodarte – ABSOLUT Elyx Launch

Chloe Sevigny attended the ABSOLUT Elyx launch in New York City on Monday evening.

It’s been a long while since we last saw Chloe in Rodarte – you have to go back to January 2011 – however, the indie actress wore a head-to-toe look from the brands Fall 2013 collection on this occasion.

Her part-black, part-printed acid wash silk satin dress featuring a draped shoulder and asymmetrical lines was styled with a barbed wire headband, bracelet and necklace plus black leather and suede booties with grommet accents.

I love the barbed wire accessories; she manages to pull them off without making them look gimmicky. I don’t think this is a feat many others could’ve pulled off so effortlessly.

While Chloe has been frustratingly inconsistent on occasion, there is a lot going here I like, even if it is just ripped from the runway.

Elle Fanning In Rodarte – 2013 Met Gala

Unlike her sister Dakota, who took a subtle approach to the night’s red carpet, Elle Fanning made quite a style statement at the Met Gala.

While her Rodarte tie-died swirl gown is decidedly more psychedelic than punk, it’s fun and youthful and a great choice for a 15-year-old on a red carpet.

And then there’s her makeup. The over-the-top winged navy and red eye shadow is the perfect match to the gown, and I definitely give her props for having fun with the theme, but is that actually punk? I’m not sure, but once again, you can’t fault a teenager for having a little fun on a night like tonight!

Are you liking Elle’s dramatic look, or is it too left field?

Dakota Fanning In Rodarte – 2013 Met Gala

A very grown-up looking Dakota Fanning attended the Met Gala as a guest of Rodarte.

The actress looked beautiful in the sheer-paneled geometric gown, and by simply modifying the look to have a slightly higher v-neckline, she actually looks far more ladylike and graceful in the gown than the runway model.

She’s following the sideswept hair trend of the night, which, along with her black nails, is her nod to punk.

I think this is subtle and beautiful, and a total win. Do you like the look, or do you wish she’d taken a bigger risk?

Kerry Washington In Rodarte – 2013 SAG Awards

Kerry Washington proved yet again that she knows how to rock the red carpet, as she did Sunday at the 2013 SAG Awards, held at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, California.

The ‘Scandal’ actress, who continues to show that she looks good in everything from bright and patterned to soft and simple, wore a stunning gown from Rodarte.

The white gown was the perfect combination of soft and structured. The bodice, embellished with just the right amount of bling, complimented the soft gown complete with silver-lace detailing around the hemline and back of the dress.

She accessorized with Fred Leighton jewels, white python Christian Louboutin ‘Batignolles’ pumps and a metallic snake skin Judith Leiber clutch while her beauty choices were kept simple with a subtle smokey eye and sleek, pulled back hair.

Jenna Elfman In Rodarte – ‘1600 Penn’ White House Screening

Stars of the new NBC show ‘1600 Penn’ were spotted posing for pictures outside the White House before enjoying a special screening with President Obama in Washington, D.C. last week before his inauguration.

Jenna Elfman looked event- and weather-appropriate, wearing a simple black sheath dress under her Rodarte Fall 2012 black-and-orange woven coat with a shearling collar.

This look precedes Katy Perry’s outing wearing the same coat earlier this week, which by coincidence was also when going to see President Obama in Washington, D.C.

Jenna styled her look with a white Victoria Beckham zipper clutch and Jimmy Choo ‘Vero’ bi-colour white-and-black pumps with a gold trim (first worn by Gwyneth Paltrow).

Again, I ask, when did white pumps become so popular again?
