‘Chaumet Est Une Fete’ : Haute Joaillerie Collection

The ‘Chaumet Est Une Fete’: Haute Joaillerie Collection launch, part of Haute Couture Paris Fashion Week, was held on Sunday (July 2).

Clemence Poesy: A Parisian-girl spirit was alive and well in Clemence’s look, to which I will give her beret much of the credit. Aside from that, her Rochas Spring 2017 gown with its swirl of multi-colour patterning was a lovely statement, especially when elevated by her two different gemstone earrings that smartly reflected its hues.

Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge In Rochas – The Chelsea Flower Show

After her sister Pippa Middleton’s wedding, Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge was seen at the prestigious Chelsea Flower Show a few days later on Monday (May 22) in London.

Getting in touch with her green thumb, she dressed for the occasion in a gracious, floral-strewn Rochas dress which was quite well-suited to the occasion.

A fresh ponytail and Monica Vinader ‘Siren’ green onyx earrings perfectly topped off the sophisticated, garden-variety look along with her go-to LK Bennett nude heels that I would have loved to transform into a dark-green sandal.

Kate Bosworth In Rochas – 2017 National Geographic FURTHER FRONT

Kate Bosworth opted for green which seemed appropriate for the 2017 National Geographic FURTHER FRONT event on Wednesday (April 19) in New York City.

My mindset is very much triggered for Spring, whereas Kate is treading the line somewhere between wearing a light hue Rochas Fall 2017 dress with smouldering dark styling which included the runway pumps and a deep rouge lip.

The dress does serve up its own unique brand of modern romance, however, the lip is throwing me off loving this look.

6th Annual AACTA International Awards

The 6th annual AACTA International Awards were hosted at Avalon Hollywood on January 6, 2017 in Los Angeles, California. The AACTAs recognise and honour outstanding achievement in the Australian film and television industry, so it is no surprise that a few Aussie beauties took to the red carpet for the event.

Nicole Kidman: The statuesque actress wore a Rochas Spring 2017 tea-length dress. I love how she breathed some life into the moodier dress, bringing out the pink waistband with her vibrant lip colour. The main issue I take with the look is in the bodice area, as it appears as if she has a ribbon of tulle wrapped around her waist in cummerbund form thus cutting off her chest.

Isla Fisher: Another auburn-haired Aussie beauty, Isla Fisher lit up the red carpet with an incredibly sunny Monique Lhuillier golden-yellow gown featuring Asian-influenced, lacy floral embroidery. I applaud her attempt to bring a ray of sunshine to the proceedings, however, I found the look to sadly be on the more dated side. Add to it the pair of rather unfortunate platform sandals that occasionally peeked through the too-long gown, and I wanted to shield my eyes from the glare.

Emma Stone: Managing to effectively toe the line between adorable and badass, the ‘La La Land’ actress wore a Gucci dress that took the idea of the LBD to another level. The silhouette of the tiered ruffle frock may have been sweet, but the cage shoulder detail and the embellished bow and collar had just the right amount of rebellious edge to ensure a dramatic and not-too-dainty finish.

Carla Gugino In Rochas – ‘San Andreas’ LA Premiere

Carla Gugino In Rochas - 'San Andreas' LA Premiere

Carla Gugino continued her amazing run promoting ‘San Andreas’ at the TCL Chinese Theatre on Tuesday (May 26) in Hollywood, California for the premiere.

The gorgeous actress wore a Rochas Pre-Fall 2015 meticulously crafted frock, which looked effortlessly elegant when styled with Louboutin pumps and breath-taking Jacob & Co. ruby jewels.

I love how the floral print infuses some vibrancy into the look while ensuring the frock made a bold statement.

Rooney Mara In Olivier Theyskens for Rochas – ‘Carol’ Cannes Film Festival Premiere

Rooney Mara In Olivier Theyskens for Rochas - ‘Carol’ Cannes Film Festival Premiere

Rooney Mara attended the premiere of ‘Carol’ during the 68th annual Cannes Film Festival on Sunday (May 17) in Cannes, France.

Making today an all white affair, the actress went back into the archives to unearth this beauty from the Olivier Theyskens for Rochas Fall 2005 collection.

Standing the test of time, the ethereal halter gown makes quite an impact with the super fine silk chiffon ruffles to the embroidery on the skirt.

As we expect, both the hair and makeup were kept simple with no jewels to speak of.
