Roberto Cavalli may have toned down the animal prints for Spring 2013, but he didn’t tone down the sex appeal of this collection.

Blonde models were given the white or pastel shades, whilst the dark-haired models stormed the runway wearing black, edgier pieces.

The presentation kick-started with white fine embroidered or sharp laser-cut pieces which I can see on Kate Moss.

Cavalli presented a lust-worthy collection of sharp blazers, camisole tops, blouses, shredded leather pants, handkerchief dresses, tunic dresses, skirts which two slits and sheer trousers.

For those who wanted something more flamboyant, Cavalli mixed in his signature scarf prints on lighter-than-air chiffon dresses and blouses.

Celebs will be clamouring for the gowns which featured backless embellishments, cut-out, thigh-high slits and plunging necklines (not necessarily all in the one gown) which have BDOTW potential.

Models sported just-got-out-of-bed tousled hair and dark, smoky eyes.

Key accessories included gold-chain-accented shoulder bags and a selection of sexy sandals.

Beyonce Knowles and Jay-Z celebrated the launch of D’USSE Cognac at La Marina in New York City on Sunday night.

The singer looked amazing wearing a Roberto Cavalli optical jaguar-print dress.

As Roberto Cavalli is synonymous with animal prints, this should not come as a surprise.

Her plunging knee-length dress was styled with Nicholas Kirkwood black velvet pumps with a gold heel and a gold platform.

Honey-coloured curled tresses and a pink lip colour completed her look.

Sharon Stone has had some great red carpet moments and some tragic moments, but she was back to her glorious best when she hit the red carpet at the amfAR Benefit Gala yesterday evening, held at La Permanente in Milan, Italy.

The actress looked stunning wearing a black Roberto Cavalli gown which the designer had created especially for her.

The keyhole gown with stripped leather side detailing and a lace train was styled with a pewter cuff and a matching box clutch.

A swept back hairstyle and drop earrings completed the look.

For this week’s ‘Solo Moda’ programme, Nieves Alvarez began with a Giorgio Armani dress embellished with Swarovski crystals.

The dress, which needed very little to bring it to life, was styled with a pair of Christian Louboutin sandals and a large ring by Alexis Bittar.

For the second look, Nieves chose understated elegance in a Calvin Klein dress from the designer’s Fall 2012 collection. Again she chose to accessorise with Alexis Bittar jewellery and Christian Louboutin shoes.

Nieves switched things up for her final look by adding a colour popping pair of  trousers to an embellished black shirt – both from Roberto Cavalli’s Fall 2012 collection – and a pair of pink and orange Manolo Blahnik sandals. Alexis Bittar once again provided the jewellery.

All three looks are beautiful, but my favourite is the Calvin Klein. Sometimes less is more and the Alexis Bittar bangles and patterned Louboutin peep-toes were all that was needed lift this ensemble.

Halle Berry attended the ‘Cloud Atlas’ premiere during the Toronto Film Festival over the weekend.

The actress took a style risk in a Roberto Cavalli trouser suit from the designer’s Fall 2012 collection for the showing.

While Halle looked her ever-beautiful self on the red carpet, the same can’t be said for her outfit. Yes, trousers suits are de rigueur right now, but this one is not working for me.

The jacket is well-cut and might be OK if style with something else.

The pants, on the other hand, look dated and the pattern on the sheer Monique Lhuillier blouse is too busy when clashed against the purple print. And, Halle, do we really need to be seeing your bra?

What do you think?

Selita Ebanks attended the premiere of fashion documentary ‘Versailles ’73′ in New York City last night.

The model looked gorgeous in a green and plum Roberto Cavalli dress from the designer’s Fall 2012 collection.

Some might say that the exaggerated skirt adds too much volume to Selita’s frame, but with her height and body, I think she pulls it off. The high neckline is also a nice balance against the bare legs and back.

Beautiful green Edmundo Castillo ‘Divina’ strappy sandals and a rich plum lip are the perfect additions.
