Red Carpet Fashion Awards

Kylie Minogue was spotted leaving Icebergs Dining Room and Bar on Bondi Beach in Sydney, Australia on Tuesday.

She was back home as she was recruited by Sydney City Council as creative ambassador for the city’s New Year’s Eve celebrations.

Dressed in a weather-appropriate sunny frock, the singer wore a Roberto Cavalli Spring 2013 dress, our second look at this collection off the runway.

The white and lime-green printed dress with nude Chantilly lace trims and thigh-high slits was styled with a white shoulder bag and nude pumps, with a pop of colour via her red nail polish.

I love this look, but I can’t help but be jealous of the glorious weather she is enjoying down under.

Gemma Arterton looked stunning during the Closing Ceremony of the 12th Marrakech Film Festival held on Saturday in Morocco.

The British actress, who has served as one of the jury members during the event, wore a Roberto Cavalli black gown for the grand occasion.

It’s not often we see such a simple, effortless Cavalli gown. This frock does right by Gemma; hugging her in all the right places.

I know a lot of you were disappointed that Gemma didn’t bring her red carpet A-game to this festival, but this look is definitely a hit for me.

Hayden Panettiere attended the 2012 CMT Artists Of The Year at The Factory in Franklin, Tennessee yesterday evening.

The ‘Nashville’ actress, who served as host for this event, opted for a bright fuchsia-pink asymmetrical Roberto Cavalli gown with a slashed opening on the bodice and a thigh-high slit.

Bright colours were clearly the order of the day, as she teamed her gown with red Giuseppe Zanotti satin peep-toes and turquoise Sutra jewellery.

I’m sad to say I don’t like anything about this look as it feels so dated.

I can see that she was going for the glamorous host look, but ended up looking like a Miss World contestant.

I prefer Hayden with shorter hair and a shorter hemline.

Even though Jennifer Lopez is on a busy world tour, she is still allowing herself plenty of time to party.

Last night the singer was in Dubai, where she stopped by the Cavalli Club and Restaurant with her beau, Casper Smart.

JLo donned a Roberto Cavalli Spring 2013 look, our first peek at this collection on the red carpet.

The superstar teamed a printed blush blouse with straight-leg white pants, which she accessorized with nude patent leather pumps, a snakeskin clutch and a selection of gold bracelets.

As much as I love the OTTness that comes with JLo, there is a total disconnect with this look.

Her clothes say spring but her makeup says fall and, as a result, feels too heavy for her summery ensemble.

The dark lip is a hot look for celebs; we also saw this with Cheryl Cole last night, but for me it doesn’t work on this occasion.

Do you agree?

The male stars of ‘The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2’ also scrubbed up well for the LA premiere, held at the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live in California yesterday evening.

Rob Pattinson: The handsome British actor wore a Gucci suit. His green and black micro-houndstooth notch-lapel two-button Monaco suit was styled with a pale grey dress shirt and black satin tie. As always, he opted for a bold colour and an interesting print in a bid to keep menswear appealing.

Taylor Lautner: The actor opted for something more classic, wearing a Z Zegna grey two-button, notch-lapel suit with a pale grey shirt and dotted grey tie.

Kellan Lutz: The actor looked hot, as always, wearing a Roberto Cavalli suit. His black suit, with midnight-blue satin lapels to match his tie, was styled with a black shirt and ombre shoes.

Jackson Rathbone: I love that menswear isn’t all just about a black suit any more. Jackson wore a deep navy-blue Calvin Klein suit with a matching shirt and patterned tie. This is quite a classic look for the actor, who usually takes the Alan Cummings approach to red carpet dressing.

It was a busy day for Rita Ora in London yesterday, as she promoted her #1 album, ‘Ora’.

She kicked started her morning on the ‘Lorraine’ show performing her new single, ‘Shine Ya Light’ wearing a Roberto Cavalli look which included a teal devore t-shirt with a black paillette mini skirt and lace up brogues.

Rita left the ITV studios looking like she stepped out of ‘The Matrix’ film set wearing a figure-hugging leather dress, folded over-the-knee boots with a gold zipper accent – detecting a new street style trend – and an oversized trench coat with a floral lining.

A gold-and-turquoise Anna Dello Russo for H&M serpent necklace and a punchy pink lip colour provided the finishing touches.

Look number three was a colourful head-to-toe House of Holland Fall 2012 ensemble featuring a silk zigzag print dress, goat hair coat and leather lace-ups, which she wore to her meeting with OMD advertising agency.

You may have instantly recognized the designers vibrant zigzag print which we’ve seen on Little Mix and Elizabeth Banks.

Rita’s ended her day as she started it; wearing a Roberto Cavalli look.

I adore this chic animal sleek suit, which she styled with a silk black shirt.

I know animal print doesn’t work for all of you, but I would wear this look in a heartbeat; firstly hemming the pants, as I can’t bear to see clothing dragging on the floor.

Nieves Alvarez wore this same suit to the Roberto Cavalli Spring 2013 fashion show last month.
