Vanessa Hudgens In Roberto Cavalli – CAA Cannes Party

I was pleasantly surprised by Vanessa Hudgens at the CAA Party which took place at the Soho House during the 2011 Cannes Film Festival last night.

The young actress – who appears to be making up the numbers à la Camilla Belle circa Cannes 2010 – wore an embellished Roberto Cavalli dress to the event which I actually like, despite being constantly confused by her style.

Her sleeveless dress was teamed with some complementary accessories which included a gold armlet, gold ring, tiled bracelet and dangling earrings.

I also really love her updo.

Cheryl Cole In Roberto Cavalli – L’Oreal After Party

Following the“Habemus Papam” Premiereduring the 2011 Cannes Film Festival, Cheryl Cole attended the L’Oreal After Party yesterday.

The X Factor judge changed out of her Stéphane Rolland Couture dress into this Roberto Cavalli gown.

Her champagne coloured sequined gown with a frothy mermaid hemline was teamed with a burgundy clutch.

She opted to keep her vampy make-up which most of you objected two from her first look.

Gong Li In Roberto Cavalli – 2011 Cannes Film Festival Opening Ceremony

A Cannes Film Festival red carpet is not complete without Roberto Cavalli.

Gong Li wore an aubergine strapless gown from the designers Couture collection which we usually see during Cannes or worn by Liz Hurley.

The Asian actress worked this stunning gown to perfection at the 2011 Cannes Film Festival Opening Ceremony.

I love the embellished bodice and the sweeping train.

Gong Li’s necklace was a tad overkill considering the exquisite detail on the bodice of her gown, she should have only added her Louis Vuitton earrings and ring from the L’Ame du Voyage and Les Eclatantes collections.

Plus Chopard.

Natalia Vodianova In Roberto Cavalli – Women for Women Charity Gala

Natalia Vodianova attended the Women for Women Charity Gala in London recently.

The supermodel looked gorgeous wearing a shimmering sea green one shoulder pleated Roberto Cavalli gown.

Her asymmetrical gown was teamed with matching pearls, ivory peep-toes and flawless make-up.

Usually I’m not a fan of necklaces worn with asymmetrical necklines, but I don’t find it so bothersome on this occasion.

Maybe she’s entranced me with those hypnotic eyes.

Who Wore Roberto Cavalli Better? Beyonce Knowles, Julianne Hough or Diane Kruger

Beyonce Knowles chose to wear this flirty sequinned Roberto Cavalli halter dress to support her man Jay-Z at his New York concert back in September.

Looking radiant, the singer paired the dress with black patent leather heels and a statement cuff. She wore her hair down with ringlet curls and smoky eyes.

I think Beyonce looks gorgeous in this dress as she’s literally glowing. It’s a great party outfit and she definitely looks ready to have a good time.

Julianne Hough was next to wear this dress to attend UCLA’s Jonsson Cancer Center Foundation’s ‘2011 Taste for a Cure,’ last month.

She paired the dress with nude platform pumps, a simple diamond tennis bracelet and wore her hair up in a teased ponytail.

Unfortunately, Julianne doesn’t add anything to this look to make it stand out. Her shoes were definitely the wrong choice for such a fun party dress and I think her hair should have been worn down. It all feels a little too bland for my taste.

Finally, Diane Kruger cuddled up to boyfriend Joshua Jackson in the same dress at the opening of the Ian Schrager Edition Hotel in Turkey last week.

The beautiful actress added a pair of black strappy Jason Wu heels to the dress with wavy hair. She went for minimal makeup save for a pop of light pink lipstick and bright red nail polish.

As always, she looks effortlessly chic and her shoes were a great choice for the dress.

Julianne is instantly out of the running. Her poor shoe choice and lack of exciting accessories just don’t fit the mood of the dress.

Both Beyonce and Diane look amazing, but I’m going to choose Diane as the winner based on her excellent decision to wear those Jason Wu shoes. They add just the right amount of sexiness and allow her to pull ahead in the style department once again.
