“The Losers” Portrait Session – Zoe Saldana In RM by Roland Mouret

During her promotional tour for “The Losers”, Zoe Saldana took part in a portrait session with the rest of her cast-mates.

Here we see her wearing a RM by Roland Mouret Hebe striped dress from the designers Spring 2010 collection.

Her black and grey striped dress is the same Roland Mouret dress Diane Kruger wore recent, but Diane’s was white and black.

The reigning queen of the red carpet paired her dress with an asymmetrical hemline with the same Christian Louboutin Coussin 140 basketweave boots worn on the runway.

I like the dress, but I would’ve liked to have seen some accessories to distract me from the basketweave boots.

“The Genie Awards” – Diane Kruger In RM by Roland Mouret

Joshua Jackson and Diane Kruger are the most genetically blessed couple in Hollywood. Brangelina lost that crown when Brad grew that fuzz.

The couple arrived at “The Genie Awards” held at Kool Haus in Toronto last night.

The “Genies” are Canada’s Film Awards. Diane was there to support her beau, who won an award for Best Actor for his role as ‘Ben’ in the movie “One Week”.

Whilst Joshua was winning acting awards, his boo wins a style award for looking stunning wearing an asymmetrical RM by Roland Mouret Hebe dress from the Spring 2010 collection.

It’s not often we see stripes worn on the red carpet. This is because they tend not photograph too well, and they can be also be unflattering.

Diane has not such drama, as her figure-sculpting cream and black striped jersey dress looks stunning on her.

I love gathered pleated detail on the side of her dress and the asymmetrical hemline.

She keeps her hair and make-up really simple, but adds a fuchsia clutch to grab our attention.

After a shaky end to awards season, Diane is back on track.

This must be BDOTW contender day.

“Chloe” New York Premeire – Amanda Seyfried In RM by Roland Mouret

Last night Amanda Seyfried was in New York for the premiere of her latest flick “Chloe”.

I was super excited when I saw her on the red carpet because she’s wearing my favourite look from Roland Mouret Rainbow Collection which is exclusively sold on Net-A-Porter.com.

Her turquoise asymmetrical RM by Roland Mouret Isa mini dress is gorgeous.

I love the draping on the hips, her side swept wavy ‘do and the coral tint on her lips.

Black accessories including a stack of bracelets and Brian Atwood “Albany” pumps to complete the look.

She sure did brighten up a dark night in New York City. Love this look.

Runway To 2010 Vanity Fair Oscar Party – Olivia Wilde & Anna Paquin In RM by Roland Mouret

Olivia Wilde was my Best Dressed of all those who attended the Oscar after parties.

The stunning actress wore a buttery yellow RM by Roland Mouret “Hydra” gown.

The organza ruffle front gown was a beautiful colour on her, which she paired with a maroon clutch and matching Ferragamo satin heels.

Bold red lips and loose waves completed the look.

Roland Mouret also dressed Anna Paquin for the 2010 Vanity Fair Party.

Anna has been taking a lot of risks lately wearing Viktor & Rolf, Alexander McQueen and Marios Schwab, so her black RM by Roland Mouret “Latona” dress feels a bit tame in comparison to her riskier ensembles.

She would’ve totally rocked the orange version and I’m really surprised that on her current form she didn’t go for it.

The actress paired her dress with a Maia N python box clutch and a House of Lavande vintage seven strand gold ball necklace.

RM by Roland Mouret Fall 2010

The RM by Roland Mouret Fall 2010 presentation was one I was very much looking forward to, and it was love at first sight from Look 1.

The silhouette still reminds fairly loose, but everything in this collection whispered sexy from the draped dresses, to the skirt suits, to the leather jackets to the dusty pink gown.

I don’t recall Roland Mouret using fur before, but he presented a fur gilet and used fur on two other pieces.

The model all wore the same rose pink Christian Louboutin suede pumps which had a pencil thin heels.

I admired the models being able to balance standing in them let alone walking in them. These heels had an elasticated black band going across the front.

Many of the looks featured hoods. Hooded dresses, coats and jackets featured, which I’ve seen at many presentations this season.

This collection will no doubt be popular with the likes of Demi Moore, Olivia Wilde and Amber Valletta who always go for the sexy yet sophisticated well tailored look which Roland does so well.

My favourite look was the rose pink mini dress paired with a boucle jersey jacket which had leather sleeves.

Runway To State Dinner At Elysee Palace – Carla Bruni-Sarkozy In RM by Roland Mouret

Yesterday evening I received a tweet from Kristen saying “Is Carla Bruni wearing the same RM dress that you wore to the BAFTAs?”.

After clicking the link I saw the beautiful Carla Bruni-Sarkozy was wearing the exact same teal green RM by Roland Mouret Fall 2009 gown I had worn to the BAFTAs just last week.

The First Lady of France wore her gown to welcome Russian President Dmitry Medvedev and his wife Svetlana to a state dinner held in their honour at Elysee Palace in Paris.

Carla’s hair was styled into a loose updo which got me thinking that she’s quite clearly taking style tips from me. j/k *winks*

Her look was paired with blue satin Christian Louboutin kitten heels, so she was very much representing French designers last night.

Who knew the First Lady of France and I share the same taste in clothes.

We don’t share the same taste in footwear though. I would never wear kitten heels. *shudders at the thought*

I forgot to say previously that Amber Valletta was the first to wear this gown.

Runway To “Alice In Wonderland” Royal World Premiere After-Party – Mia Wasikowska In RM by Roland Mouret

After the “Alice In Wonderland” Royal World Premiere last night, Mia Wasikowska changed for the after party for the movie.

She opted for a black RM by Roland Mouret Spring 2010 jumpsuit paired with tight and black heels.

I hate to be predictable, but I hate the tights.

By wearing tights the asymmetrical hem of the jumpsuit and a lot of the detail on the bottom half are swallowed up by the tights.

Bare legs and strappy sandals would’ve have been much more appealing imo.

Other than that this is a great look for the young actress.
