Who Wore Roland Mouret Better? Jennifer Lopez or Hilary Duff

During her amazingly well-dressed promo tour for “The Back-Up Plan”, Jennifer Lopez wore this grey Roland Mouret Aphrodite dress to a photocall in Cologne, Germany.

The diva wore her dress with Emilio Pucci heels, silver and platinum bracelets and hooped earrings.

Hilary Duff wore the same dress last month to the 6th Annual BGC Charity Day in New York City.

She opted for on trend Brian Atwood nude pumps.

Jennifer wins for me as I prefer the shorter length, her heels and the fact that she looks like she put a comb through her hair.

Roland Mouret Spring 2011

Roland Mouret’s Spring 2011 collection presented us with soft feminine sensual pieces we have come to expect from the French designer.

We saw beautiful free flowing crepe and silk dresses alongside silk two-tone camisoles, oversized shirts, colour-block kimono pants, cashmere cardigans and pegged pants.

These separates gave the collection a sporty feel to the collection, which contrasted with below the knee dresses.

A lot of these dresses had open backs or keyhole details as the models long ponytails swished down the runway.

If you’re looking for something uber sexy, Mouret gave us some black bandages dresses and sexy backless dungarees which I can imagine will sell out the second they hit Net-A-Porter.com.

I was delighted to see the green and white prints in this collection as we don’t often see prints from Mouret.

I loved the caped shoulders which looked like a parachute as the models took to the runway.

In the show notes, the designer announced that he will be opening a his first store on Carlos Place in Mayfair, London Spring 2011, just in time for his Mr by Roland Mouret menswear launch.

Some models had bold red lips, whilst others went au naturel.

All the model wore Christian Louboutin wooden platform heels.

Front Row: Sting and Trudie Styler

Favourites: Blue caped dress and taupe dress with draped neckline

Who I See Wearing This Collection: Naomi Watts, Kerry Washington, Heidi Klum, Carey Mulligan, Kate Beckinsale, Amanda Seyfried, Diane Kruger, Zoe Saldana, Angie Harmon, Anna Paquin and Olivia Wilde

Variety’s 2nd Annual Power Of Women Luncheon – Amy Adams In Roland Mouret

New mummy Amy Adams looked radiant at the Variety’s 2nd Annual Power Of Women Luncheon yesterday.

She’s shifted her baby weight really quickly.

The actress wore a Roland Mouret pink structured one shoulder cocktail dress which is an absolutely divine colour on her as it enhances her rosy glow.

I’m also loving her champagne coloured clutch which she teams with nude heels.

We’ve known Roland Mouret as ‘RM by Roland Mouret’, for a long time, but the designer has reverted back to his just Roland Mouret.

“Twilight Saga: Eclipse” New York Screening – Kristen Stewart In RM by Roland Mouret

Following Kristen Stewart’s appearance on the ‘Late Show With David Letterman’, she attended a screening of the “Twilight” movie in New York City with her co-star Taylor Lautner.

As I’ve said before, Kristen appears to be addicted to wearing LBDs.

This time she opted for a long sleeved black RM by Roland Mouret Fall 2010 dress.

I deliberately opted to use a picture from outside the event, because inside the event was pitch black and it was hard to see much of the iridescent plum fan sequins which should be the focus of this look.

I don’t hate the look, but I would’ve totally preferred the runway version. Sorry to be so predictable.

Only because she wore all black earlier in the day.

I also wish she’d worn the strapless version like Amanda Seyfried, or the sleeveless version of this dress.

Either way the effort is truly appreciated, especially the two differing hairstyles in one day.

2010 Tony Awards – Naomi Watts In RM by Roland Mouret

Best Modification Award
Naomi Watts attended the 2010 Tony Awards to support her beau Liev Schreiber.

She looked absolutely stunning, coming second to ScarJo on my list of favourites at this event.

She managed to strike the right balance by looking fabulous, yet not outshining her man wearing a RM by Roland Mouret Jansen mermaid gown, which is the long sleeve gown version of the RM by Roland Mouret Artemis dress which Scarlett Johansson wore recently.

I love the black embellished belt which adds definition to her waist and stops the look from being boring plus the mermaid hem.

A Marchesa black crocodile clutch with a crystal closure and Fred Leighton jewels complete the look.

2010 Cannes Film Festival: “Fair Game” Premiere & Photocall – Naomi Watts In Armani Privé & RM by Roland Mouret

Naomi Watts glided down the red carpet at the “Fair Game” Cannes Film Festival premiere this evening.

She look so beautiful wearing a white Armani Privé Spring 2010 gown.

The bodice instantly reminded me of a similar Armani Privé gown Amanda Seyfried wore to the Oscars.

You’d be forgiven if you thought they were the same dress.

I keep expecting my ‘anti-white-bridal-gown’ monster to rear it’s ugly head, but I think that the luminescent crystal effect on this gown prevents that.

Sleek back hair and diamond jewels completed this simple, clean, chic look.

I think I’m developing a bit of a girl crush on Naomi.

At the “Fair Game” photo call Naomi opted for a RM by Roland Mouret Trucy dress.

I love colour, but I don’t like that line going down her stomach.

Next up the amfAR Gala looks. Keep refreshing as the page is going to move very fast

2010 Cannes Film Festival: “Biutiful” Premiere – Naomi Watts In RM by Roland Mouret

Naomi Watts also surprised me as she arrived on the red carpet for the Cannes Film Festival premiere of “Biutiful”, but in a totally different way to Beckinsale.

Naomi looked absolutely stunning wearing a black RM by Roland Mouret Ephron jersey dress from the Fall 2010 collection, but she needed to turn down the headlights because they are beaming.

Normally I would’ve suggest that she should’ve worn petal covers, but her dress is quite sheer and the petal covers would’ve only shown up in the photos anyway.

I love the silhouette of her dress which makes Naomi look a foot taller.

The actress wore her revealing dress with the same Chopard earrings she wore last time on the red carpet, plus a stunning diamond bracelet.

I love this shot from the back where is shows the open back of her stunning dress.

One of the best looks today.
