Rosario Dawson In Reem Acra – 2013 Learn.Build.Create Inaugural Celebration

Rosario Dawson attended the 2013 Learn.Build.Create Inaugural Celebration in Washington, D.C. yesterday evening.

The actress wore one of my favourite looks from the Reem Acra Spring 2013 collection.

Her fully beaded blush dress with batwing sleeves and a pink ombre hemline is gorgeous, but would’ve worked better on someone taller as too much of the skirt is bunched up on the floor.

I loved the pink leather clutch on the runway; here Rosario opted for a box clutch with a rose-pink tint.

Matching jewels including Graziela earrings, sleek tresses and a glossy lip colour provided the finishing touches.

Isla Fisher In Reem Acra – 2013 Golden Globe Awards

Isla Fisher attended the 2013 Golden Globe Awards, hosted at California’s Beverly Hilton Hotel, in shimmering style.

Along with other stars the likes of Kerry Washington and Connie Britton, Isla also brought the sparkle and shine to the red carpet in her Reem Acra delight.

But, this time, the glimmer was of a rather ethereal and subdued quality. Her nude gown enchanted with its flurry of silver embellishment that quietly faded into the illusion netting of the top.

A black handbag broke the soft, magical touch.

All in all, the glamour was there, and Isa’s fiery red locks, flipped to one side and styled into a seductive wave, and her crimson lip only added to the effect.

Zhang Ziyi In Reem Acra – Chinese Music Charts Concert

Zhang Ziyi continued her busy week at the Chinese Music Charts Concert in Taipei, Taiwan on Saturday.

She opted for a stunning Reem Acra Spring 2013 gown.

The heavenly cream gown with gold floral embroidered details on the bodice was the perfect way to close a very stylish year for the Asian actress.

Many of us thought she had lost her desire to opt for princess-like gowns, as she tried out many edgier looks throughout the year, so this spectacular gown will no doubt delight many of you.

A simple updo, Sergio Rossi pumps and dazzling Bulgari earrings completed her look.

You may remember that Carrie Underwood also wore this gown.

2012 American Country Awards

The 2012 American Country Awards took place at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, Nevada yesterday evening.

Usually there are a few stand outs from these country music events, but last night they were all equally meh.

Where is Taylor Swift when you need her?

Carrie Underwood: I do like Carrie’s peach lace Georges Chakra Couture bubble dress with lines of pearls, but the B Brian Atwood ‘Cassiane’ fringe sandals and same old, same old hairstyle kill this look for me.

LeAnn Rimes: The singer kept it simple, wearing a black Dolce & Gabbana ruched stretch-crepe dress with a scooped neckline. Her snakeskin Tom Ford pumps keep things interesting, but her white Tom Ford clutch is quite the head scratcher.

Kristin Chenoweth: The actress/singer was my favourite at this event – I’m sure I don’t need to explain why – wearing a Rafael Cennamo electric-blue gown. The vibrant bustier gown with corset detailing was styled with blue-toned Martin Katz jewels.

Miranda Lambert: Usually one for wearing gowns at country music events, Miranda opted for a high-neck Reem Acra Fall 2012 black-and-gold mini dress. Unfortunately, the risk did not pay off for her. The look is not particularly flattering and the high bun is too cutesy for her.

With the exception of Kristin who looks flawless, they all can and have done much better.

Kellie Pickler In Pamella Roland – 2012 CMA Awards

Kellie Pickler showcased a shorter hairstyle than we are used to seeing from the country singer when she took to the red carpet at the 46th Annual CMA Awards held at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee, last night.

The buzz cut happened live on ‘Good Morning America’ last month as a show of solidarity for her childhood friend Summer Holt Miller who was recently diagnosed with breast cancer.

Kellie sparkled wearing an ice-blue Pamella Roland Fall 2012 gown with Tacori jewelry.

Her strapless gown featured a beaded bodice and a flowing satin skirt with a long train.

Shimmering copper eye shadow highlighted her eyes while a glossy nude lip colour provided the finishing touches.

Taylor Swift In Jenny Packham – 2012 CMA Awards

Taylor Swift showed no signs of the break-up blues on the red carpet at the 46th Annual CMA Awards held at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee, last night.

I hope you won’t begrudge the country singer a bit of sparkle as her gorgeous Jenny Packham Spring 2012 nude lace gown was dazzling with red floral embroidered embellishments.

Opting for minimal jewels, her blunt bangs were slightly swept to one side with a perfect red pout providing the finishing.

For me this is one of her top 5 best ever looks.
