Danai Gurira In Reem Acra - 7th Annual ESSENCE Black Women In Hollywood Luncheon

Danai Gurira attended the 7th annual ESSENCE Black Women In Hollywood luncheon held at Beverly Hills Hotel on Thursday (February 27) in Beverly Hills, California.

While the illusion panel on her Reem Acra Resort 2014 fitted frock isn’t quite doing its job, I love this glorious red colour against her skin tone.

Gold Aldo sandals, an oversized Tyler Alexandra clutch and Shylee Rose jewels accessorized her look.

Kristen Bell In Reem Acra - Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences’ Scientific and Technical Awards

Kristen Bell co-hosted the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences’ Scientific and Technical Awards ceremony held at Beverly Hills Hotel on Saturday (February 15) in Beverly Hills, California alongside Michael B. Jordan.

It appears the two actors co-ordinated their looks, as Kristen kept it chic and simple wearing all black.

She wore a Reem Acra Spring 2014 one-shoulder gown with a cut-out detail style with a black Jimmy Choo ‘Cosma’ clutch and ‘Vibe’ sandals.

Some may be tired of the sheer gown trend as much as the cut-out trend, but there is nothing desperate or tacky about this look.

Wavy blonde locks and pink lips that pop with color provide the finishing touches to her sexy ensemble.

2014 Critics' Choice Movie Awards Red Carpet Roundup

We’ve seen a roundup of the men, so here is a roundup of the ladies who attended the 19th Annual Critics’ Choice Movie Awards at Barker Hangar on Thursday (January 16) in Santa Monica, California alongside the likes of Cate Blanchett, Amy Adams and Lupita Nyong’o.

Meryl Streep: Like Julia Roberts – her red carpet pal – and Matthew McConaughey, Meryl opted for sunglasses on the red carpet, much to my chagrin. The actress wore a Stella McCartney embroidery-detailed navy dress with flared sleeves styled with black tights, Ferragamo pumps and a fold-over Louboutin clutch. I’m rarely impressed with her red carpet looks and this is no exception. I wish Helen Mirren’s stylist would take Meryl under his wing.

Oprah Winfrey: The TV host wore an emerald green Azzedine Alaia dress, belted at the waist to accentuate her hourglass shape, which she styled with Lorraine Schwartz jewels.

Abigail Breslin: Her pastel-grey Badgley Mischka gown makes her look much older and the colour is washing her out. The only thing I like here is the hair and makeup.

Anna Kendrick In Reem Acra - 2014 UNICEF Ball

Anna Kendrick looked sensational while taking to the red carpet for the 2014 UNICEF Ball held at the Regent Beverly Wilshire Hotel on Tuesday (January 14) in Beverly Hills, California.

Looking better than a few attendees at the Golden Globes, the actress stunned wearing a Reem Acra Resort 2013 raspberry sweetheart-neckline strapless gown featuring diamond cut-out panels accented with lace.

The celebrity favourite gemstone clutch from Rauwolf accessorized her look along with a selection of rings and earrings featuring a ruby stone.

Sporting a lighter hair colour, the actress teased her tresses into a chic half-up, half-down bouffant with curls cascading down her back, with silvery eye makeup enhancing her steel-grey eyes and a pretty pink lip colour rounding out her look.

This is a real contender for BDOTW; it could rival any of the attendees at the Globes. Do you agree?

Zosia Mamet In Reem Acra - 2014 Golden Globe Awards

Zosia Mamet strutted down the red carpet of the 2014 Golden Globe Awards in Los Angeles this evening (January 12).

The ‘Girls’ star wore a black-floral accented white Reem Acra gown from the Fall 2013 collection.

It seems her newly shorn locks have given Zosia a little boost of confidence, because gone are her typically slouchy red carpet poses and her sullen expression.

The dress is classy and right on-trend, and the bob is maybe the best beauty decision the star has ever made–it’s really working.

My one wish is that there was some red lipstick on that wry smile, but overall, this is such a great improvement, I can’t complain.
