Janelle Monae In Reem Acra – Vanity Fair And Genesis Celebrate ‘Hidden Figures’

Janelle Monae attended Vanity Fair’s celebration of ‘Hidden Figures’ on Friday (February 24) in LA.

Could the actress be ushering in a new era of colour?

Well with her Barbara Bui suit and this Reem Acra floral patterned frock the answer could be yes.

I like how on this rare occasion she tones down the accessories and the bold red lip to allow this gorgeous frock to do all the talking.

Taraji P. Henson In Reem Acra – 2017 SAG Awards

Taraji P. Henson bought the drama to the 2017 SAG Awards in LA on Sunday (January 29).

Gliding down the red carpet in this Reem Acra Spring 2017 gown, the ‘Empire’ actress channeled her sultry style into this romantic and pretty dress.

On the catwalk, this dress was shown with long sleeves, but as we know, that would be too much material for Taraji. She likes to flash the flesh, which she does here in a demure, elegant way.

The fullness of the skirt, the sheer neckline and the embellishment which is scattered over the dress and covers her modesty up top, all make it one of our favourite looks of hers to date.

What do you think of this gown?

Jennifer Lopez Reem Acra – 2017 People’s Choice Awards

Jennifer Lopez had a rather monumental night at the People’s Choice Awards 2017 on Wednesday (January 18) in LA, winning her first PCA trophy after six nominations.

Outfitted for the occasion, the Favourite Crime Drama TV Actress wasn’t having anything to do with a less formal dress code.

Her Reem Acra Pre-Fall 2017 black gown provided a beautiful, figure-slimming silhouette that was set off by an embellished, bib bodice piece.

A slicked-back ponytail ensured the look stayed freshly modern. She rocked the hell out of this look.

Gwen Stefani In Reem Acra – 2017 People’s Choice Awards

Gwen Stefani accompanied Blake Shelton for the People’s Choice Awards 2017 on Wednesday (January 18) in LA.

Try as you might, it’s hard to not have a style crush on the platinum-blonde entertainer who, with this look, proved she can wear just about anything.

With a whimsical nod to a secret garden, this Reem Acra Spring 2017 two-piece dress was frothy and fairy-like. It was ever so sweet in its intricate detail—from the puff sleeve and charmingly miniature black bow to the dimensional floral skirt.

Yet Gwen ensured to bring her own edgy, rock-star personality, too, with fishnet tights and pointy black heels.

2017 Golden Globe Awards Parties Red Carpet Roundup

After every award had been announced and every speech given, the Golden Globes parties on Sunday (January 8) brought in a rush of other pretties to celebrate the night away with their peers in Beverly Hills, California.

Ashley Madekwe: Had this photo not been labeled Ashley, I would have never recognized the starlet who debuted a far more dramatic look than we are accustomed. Channeling Diana Ross, she wore a silken Cushnie et Ochs draped gown. Yet the heavy makeup and bouffant hair had an ageing effect on this typically youthful, natural beauty.

Nikki Reed: Sheer, sequins, and cutouts… oh my. Leaving no trend unturned, the actress wore a Naeem Khan Fall 2016 gown but the visible seaming at the sides compromised the look even more than the unflattering hip cutout.

Freida Pinto: The Bollywoood star donned a chicer version of sheer, sequins, and cutouts in this Rohit Gandhi + Rahul Khanna metallic halter gown.

Kristen Wiig In Reem Acra – 2017 Golden Globe Awards

Kristen Wiig’s red carpet looks are usually met with a certain amount of appreciation from me, however, that wasn’t the case at the 2017 Golden Globe Awards on Sunday (January 8).

I don’t think this Reem Acra look did anything for her.

I’m not a fan of the colour of the lining or where it stops.

Overall, I think this look aged her.

The London Evening Standard Theatre Awards Red Carpet Roundup

The London Evening Standard Theatre Awards Red Carpet Roundup

Here is a roundup of those who joined Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Kate Beckinsale and Nicole Kidman on the red carpet for the London Evening Standard Theatre Awards held at The Old Vic Theatre on Sunday (November 22) in London, England.

Salma Hayek: As you know I’m a huge advocate for Sexy Salma, but ay caramba this is perhaps a bit too much. As pretty as this Alexander McQueen ruffled gown is, ALL I can focus on are the twins.

Gemma Arterton: Like Lea Seydoux, Gemma always seems to have magic moments in Prada, but I wasn’t so enamoured by this look on this occasion. The colour is pretty, but the style fell way short for an awards ceremony.

Ruth Wilson: There was plenty of glamour imbued in Ruth’s Reem Acra gown which sparkled under the bright lights on the red carpet. Ruth usually takes a risk, so this was a rare princess moment which she totally nailed.
