Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge In Rebecca Taylor – Royal New Zealand Police College

Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge In Rebecca Taylor - Royal New Zealand Police College

Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge visited the Royal New Zealand Police College in Porirua near Wellington, New Zealand on Wednesday (April 16).

The Duchess donned a formal blue ‘Sparkle Tweed’ two-piece blazer-and-skirt suit by New Zealand designer Rebecca Taylor.

Her look was styled with navy Alexander McQueen pumps and a matching clutch, with half of her brunette hair up and the rest curled at the bottom.

Considering the rain, I’m surprised she didn’t opt for another coat/dress.

Royal watchers would’ve instantly recognised this suit, because Catherine has worn it once before. The recycler previously wore the suit in April 2012 at a reception for the Scott-Amundsen Centenary Race in London.

Ashley Tisdale In Rebecca Taylor – Bravo’s ‘Miss Advised’ LA Screening

Ashley Tisdale attended the season premiere viewing party of Bravo’s ‘Miss Advised’, which she executive produced, on Monday evening at the Planet Dailies & Mixology 101.

The star wore a Rebecca Taylor Spring 2012 halter dress.

Her slightly modified version of the runway look has a shorter torso and longer skirt.

This drop-waist dress ending just above the knees was accented with embellished panels.

The steel-grey skirt was layered with a silver-grey chiffon panel in the front to give the look a lighter-than-air flair.

Sam Edelman ‘Renzo’ grey ankle boots with spiked details on the heels accessorized her look. I’m surprised she didn’t overload this looks with jewels.

Her hair, parted on the side with pink highlights, was accented with a single braid.

You can buy Ashley’s Rebecca Taylor dress on sale from Neiman Marcus, Bergdorf Goodman and CUSP.

Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge In Rebecca Taylor – Scott-Amundsen Centenary Race Reception

After attending the ‘African Cats’ premiere in London last night, Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge was with Prince Williams this afternoon attending a reception for the Scott-Amundsen Centenary Race at Goldsmiths’ Hall in London, England.

She looked a prim and proper, as always, wearing a Rebecca Taylor blue tweed jacket with floral accents around the neckline which she paired with a matching skirt.

We shouldn’t be surprised by the all blue accessories which included an Anya Hindmarch navy snake skin clutch.

Kristin Cavallari In Rebecca Taylor – Rebecca Taylor Robertson Store Opening

Kristin Cavallari helped celebrate the Rebecca Taylor store opening in LA on Wednesday evening.

She chose a maroon Rebecca Taylor Fall 2011 halter dress with ruffle skirt details.

The reality star paired the dress with matching dark lips and nails.

This maroon on maroon is definitely right-on for the season, but somehow manages to wash out the Californian beauty.

Perhaps if she had worn her hair completely back or completely down, rather than loose tendrils, she would not have become so lost behind her lipstick.

Nude heels and a nude clutch complete the look.

You can buy Kristin’s Rebecca Taylor dress in slate grey from
Bloomingdale’s and in teal from Saks.com.

Who Wore Rebecca Taylor Better? Alexa Chung, Ivanka Trump or Kirsten Dunst

This Fall 2011 Rebecca Taylor ‘Black Ghost’ cut-out dress is so popular it has already been worn three times on the red carpet.

Alexa Chung was the first to wear this chiffon floral print with Miu Miu glitter and suede ankle boots when she attended Cynthia Rowley’s Fall 2011 presentation during New York Fashion Week.

Her pretty dress was accessorized with a black shoulder bag.

Ivanka Trump launched her footwear collection at Bloomingdale’s wearing the same dress, which is a huge departure from her signature uptown New Yorker looks.

Her accessories included black pumps and a black chain-strap bag, plus her chic updo hinted at her uptown New Yorker status.

Kirsten Dunst teamed her dress with a black blazer whilst out in downtown New York with friends earlier last month.

With an iced coffee in one hand and a Sofia Coppola for Louis Vuitton duffle bag in the other, her off-duty look was perfected with suede ankle boots.

Kirsten is the epitome of downtown cool, so she wins for me.

The dress doesn’t suit Ivanka’s style and, even with her chic accessories, Alexa still looks homeless.

You can buy Alexa’s, Ivanka’s and Kirsten’s Rebecca Taylor dress from
Net-A-Porter US and Net-A-Porter International.
