Jayma Mays In Rebecca Minkoff - Good Morning America

My eyes almost popped out of my head when I saw Jayma Mays heading to the ‘Good Morning America’ set to promote her latest movie, ‘The Smurfs 2′.

The ‘Glee’ actress’ Rebecca Minkoff ensemble was an explosion of colour, featuring a lava-print ‘Becky’ jacket from the Fall 2013 collection, with electric-blue leather skinny jeans from the Resort 2014 collection and a white-and-red printed tee-shirt.

It may be an assault on the eyes for some, but I adore this look from head to toe as a lover of print and colour.

I like how the look was carefully considered and not just thrown together for the sake of standing out.

Opting for fresh, neutral makeup, the actress completed her look with a silver bracelet and simple black strappy Chelsea Paris sandals.

Zosia Mamet In Rebecca Minkoff - 'The Spectacular Now' New York Screening

Zosia Mamet attended the screening for ‘The Spectacular Now’ at The Crow’s Nest on Friday in Montauk, New York.

The ‘Girls’ actress rarely grabs my attention on the red carpet, but in this case she did, and for all the wrong reasons.

Working the red carpet can be a daunting experience, but the actress has had enough practice to get it right and know how to play the game.

Here she gets it oh-so-very-wrong in her Rebecca Minkoff Resort 2014 printed top and jacket styled with red satin shorts.

I was going to say ‘Where shall I start?’ but it’s all bad. The satin shorts aren’t flattering; maybe she should’ve considered just the printed jacket or the top, and then there’s the messy hair to contend with.

But that is all fixable. What pulls this look down the most is her ‘I don’t wanna be here attitude’ and her poor posture.

See by Chloé Resort 2014 Presentation

The Resort 2014 presentations are turning into a red carpet affair; this time we had See by Chloe showcasing their wares at Industria Studios in New York City on Wednesday evening, which also doubled up as the launch of the brand’s new fragrance.

Anna Kendrick: The actress sported a new honey-coloured ‘do and looked a bit more lively for this event, wearing a simple white tank with a layered chiffon skirt styled with Chloe wedges – which have become a favourite with Victoria Beckham – and a blush-coloured Chloe ‘Sally’ clutch with gold trims. Is her new hair colour washing her out?

Nichole Galicia: The ‘Django Unchained’ actress wore a simple navy See by Chloe dress, which was accessorized with Chloe pieces including an ivory belt, two-tone Chloe ‘Grove’ wedges and a small Chloe ‘Alice’ bag in a salmon-and-tan colourway, which continues to be a big hit with celebrities.

Olivia Palermo: The socialite is getting a good wear out of her Rebecca Minkoff jacket, which we saw her wearing earlier this week. She styled her can’t-live-without blazer with a pale-yellow top and printed skirt, accessorizing with Christian Louboutin ‘Zigouwi’ sandals and a Chloe ‘Alice’ bag in a Fall-like berry hue.

Here we have three very different looks; which best suits your style?

Olivia Palermo In Rebecca Minkoff & Paige Denim - Out In New York City

Olivia Palermo pulled from her closet another worthy street-style look, which she showed off while out and about in New York City.

She brought a casual cool factor to the sidewalk in front of Bar Pitti restaurant, as she mixed glam with a hint of grunge. Her structured, cream-coloured Rebecca Minkoff ‘Becky’ jacket, worn with a matching camisole top, was juxtaposed with distressed Paige Denim ‘Lydia’ skinny jeans.

Naturally, this style-setter brought plenty of accessories out to play with her textured, chain-strap Mulberry bag, an oversized pair of Westward\\Leaning ‘Children of California’ sunglasses and nude French Sole flats.

But, her most fashionable accessory was undoubtedly her fluffy pup.

Models @ 2013 CFDA Fashion Awards

Some of our favourite cat-walkers were among the mix of style royalty at the 2013 CFDA Fashion Awards at Lincoln Center’s Alice Tully Hall in New York City. The models definitely had their moment last night, strutting out a slew of bold-name designers and even bolder looks to match.

Adriana Lima: Donning a leggy and luxe Riccardo Tisci for Givenchy Fall 2013 confection, this Brazilian beauty did justice to the edgy designer—who was the CFDA International Award Winner—even with black bloomers peeking through the gown. A center-parted ‘do and glowing makeup finished the look. Fellow model Joan Smalls rocked a similar Givenchy sheer design at the amfAR Cinema Against AIDS Gala. Who do you think wore it best?

Miranda Kerr: This model mom made waves with a retro-modern frock by Proenza Schouler. The square neckline and fit-and-flare shape were nothing if not fun and provided the perfect palette for the trippy, painterly cerulean and verdigris hues. More sophistication came with a classic pair of black, triple ankle-wrap Stuart Weitzman heels, Jennifer Meyer jewels and a silver Stuart Weitzman clutch, along with a fuchsia lippie and low bun.

Joan Smalls: The lovely Latina wore a breezy white, strapless Givenchy gown. The matte white panel on the bottom created a sort of casual, sundress feel. But upon closer inspection, it was anything but beach-y with a corseted bodice and sheer lace-embellished skirt. The glittering choker-necklace added a daring, darker note.
