Fan Bingbing In Ralph & Russo Couture – ‘La Tete Haute’ Cannes Film Festival Premiere & Opening Ceremony

Opening Ceremony & "La Tete Haute" Premiere - The 68th Annual Cannes Film Festival

Fan Bingbing returned to Cannes Film Festival as expected, with a bang.

The Asian beauty glided down the red carpet for the opening ceremony and premiere of ‘La Tete Haute’ (‘Standing Tall’) this evening (May 13) in Cannes, France, wearing Ralph & Russo Couture.

Looking ever so regal, the cape design, which will be on my BDOTY list, took my breath away for being so elegance, and complementary to her skin-tone.

If you are looking for the Chinese influence, look no further than the 18th-century Chinese motifs, depicting a blossoming scene and peacocks – a symbol of dignity and beauty.

The look was styled with emerald Chopard jewels and her favourite Louis Vuitton clutch.

I’m glad she saved this for Cannes, it may have gotten lost on the red carpet at the Met Gala.

Best Dressed Of The Week – Blake Lively In Ralph & Russo Couture, Jennifer Lopez In Blumarine & Michiel Huisman In Salvatore Ferragamo

BDOTW 27 april

Blake Lively served up more looks this week than we can count on both hands, so you rewarded her by naming her best dressed this week for her final look by Ralph & Russo Couture.

I, on the other hand, was totally obsessed with Jennifer Lopez’ Blumarine look, which increased 10-fold when I saw her instagram video of the photoshoot.

When it comes to menswear, the battle is usually between the two Chris’ (Evans and Hemsworth). On this occasion the new boy in town, Michiel Huisman, swept us off our feet in Salvatore Ferragamo.

He was one of three to do the blue suit, light coloured shoes combo this week, so perhaps going tieless edged the win.

Blake Lively In Ralph & Russo Couture – Allure Magazine Cover Party

Blake Lively In Ralph & Russo Couture - Allure Magazine Cover Party

Blake Lively had a busy day promoting her latest movie, ‘The Age of Adaline’ on Wednesday (April 22), so I’m surprised she had more energy to attend the Allure Magazine Cover Party in the evening.

I knew Blake had would give me one more reason to swoon during this promo tour, and it came courtesy of Ralph & Russo.

Blake blossomed wearing a Spring 2015 Couture off the shoulder dress enhanced with meticulously handcrafted floral appliqués which instantly beautifies the flared silhouette with sensual femininity.

With so many looks in the space of two days there were bound to be a few misses, but this is a sure-fire hit.

Models @ 2015 Elle Style Awards

Models @ 2015 Elle Style Awards

You were very much underwhelmed by the models at the Vanity Fair Oscar Party, so let’s see how those supers fared at the 2015 Elle Style Awards on Tuesday (February 24) in London, England.

Cara Delevingne: Known for her preference for suits on the red carpet, the model channelled her inner Dita Von Teese on this occasion, wearing a sultry long-sleeve black gown by Vivienne Westwood. Going the distance, she styled the look with a diamond Messika necklace, screen-siren waves and a plump red lip.

Isabeli Fontana: I was blown away by the Brazilian model in her Ralph & Russo Spring 2015 Couture gown, having seen it sweep down the runway just a month ago. I love the airiness, the seductive sheer elements and of course the pretty floral appliqués. Factor in the bold violet lip and braided hairdo, and this was one of my favourites on the night.

Kylie Minogue In Ralph & Russo Couture – 2015 Vanity Fair Oscar Party

Kylie Minogue In Ralph & Russo Couture - 2015 Vanity Fair Oscar Party

Kylie Minogue attended the 2015 Vanity Fair Oscar party held at the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts on Sunday (February 22) in Beverly Hills, California.

Swathed in tulle, the Australia singer wore a heavenly cornflower blue off-the-shoulder Ralph & Russo Spring 2015 Couture gown.

I love how she presents timeless glamour with a hint of sensuality via the side slit, but once again the earrings feel way too heavy for this ultra feminine, delicate look.

Gwyneth Paltrow In Ralph & Russo Couture – 2015 Oscars

Gwyneth Paltrow In Ralph & Russo Couture - 2015 Oscars

Gwyneth Paltrow graced the red carpet on Sunday (February 22) at the 2015 Oscars, hosted at Hollywood’s Dolby Theatre.

The presenter and ’Mortdecai’ star wore Ralph & Russo Spring 2015 Couture.

Gwyneth looked elegant in a one-shouldered blush pink gown with an oversized rose detail on the shoulder. As usual, the actresses looked fantastic, but I wish she had opted for the more dramatic runway version of the gown, because she has the strong red carpet presence and fashion sense to pull it off.

Nevertheless, Gwyneth’s uber-feminine style was a breath of fresh spring-like air on the red carpet. And her super sleek hair and oversized berry-hued and diamond-encrusted drop earrings were a welcome dose of wow-factor.

Jessie J In Ralph & Russo Couture – 2015 Grammy Awards

Jessie J In Ralph & Russo Couture - 2015 Grammy Awards

Jessie J attended the 2015 Grammy Awards at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California on Sunday (February 8).

The ‘Bang Bang’ singer and nominee was at her vampy best in a sheer, embellished black gown with a full train from the Ralph & Russo Fall 2014 Couture collection.

Those who are overly fatigued by the see-through trend will likely shake their head. Yet my first thought when seeing this look was ‘thank goodness she wore black panties as opposed to the runway’s nude version.’

A rather severe, slicked-down bob and an oxblood lip completed the ensemble.
