Vogue Paris 95th Anniversary Party

Vogue Paris 95th Anniversary Party

A crush of chic beauties and models of the moment made for quite the spectacular showing at the Vogue Paris 95th Anniversary Party on Friday (October 3) in Paris, France.

Giovanna Battaglia: Everything was coming up roses, in rather dramatic fashion, for Giovanna who left no petal unturned in this Alexander McQueen Fall 2015 red rose organza and lace ruffle dress worn with a lace bra and black lace embroidered boots. I kind of wish that lace collar piece was missing in action.

Kendall Jenner
: The model went the sophisticatedly chic route in an Ulyana Sergeenko Fall 2015 Couture black velvet bustier gown constructed with a touch of youthful charm in the large collection of ruffle roses that dotted the hem of the dress. The finish of a ruby lip brought even more va-voom spirit.

Zoe Kravitz: Adding more rose-laced, flower-power to the proceedings, she rocked the Balenciaga Spring 2016 dress that she modeled during the label’s runway show paired with Balenciaga matching mules and complementary jewels. This is a more delicate side to Zoe’s style, but the full-on sheer story and high-waisted briefs has me fatigued on this occasion.

Carina Lau In Ralph & Russo Couture - 2015 Bazaar Star Charity Night

Carina Lau attended the 2015 Bazaar Star Charity Night at China World Summit Wing on Wednesday (September 23) in Beijing, China.

The actress wore her second Ralph & Russo Couture look in so many days.

On this occasion she opted for a bewitching black velvet elegant Fall 2015 gown infused with dramatic ruffles.

Surprisingly she doesn’t get lost in the drama, which is helped by her effortless styling.

Carina Lau In Ralph & Russo Couture – Bulgari High Jewellery Dinner

Carina Lau In Ralph & Russo Couture - Bulgari High Jewellery Dinner

Carina Lau attended an exclusive dinner for Bulgari High Jewellery, held at the Embassy of Italy in Beijing, China on Tuesday (September 22).

The actress wore a breath-taking rose gold Chantilly lace Ralph & Russo Couture gown with crystal and glass bead embellishment.

Ordinarily I would say that blank canvas would’ve worked better to showcase the jewels, but in this case the embellishments and jewels are working in perfect harmony.

Fan Bingbing In Ralph & Russo Couture – GQ Men of the Year Awards

Fan Bingbing In Ralph & Russo Couture - GQ Men of the Year Awards

Fan Bingbing was in full bloom while attending the GQ Men of the Year Awards in Shanghai, China on Monday (September 14).

Looking almost too perfect for words (I refuse to let the shoes ruin this moment for me), the actress took my breath-away wearing a Ralph & Russo Spring 2015 Couture off the shoulder dress enriched with lustrous silk flowers.

Styled with a two-tone LV Petite Malle clutch and Chopard jewels, this look will find pride of place in her red carpet hall of fame.

You may remember that Blake Lively wore this same dress during her epic promo tour of ‘The Age of Adaline’ back in April.

Best Dressed Of The Week – Kangana Ranaut In Ralph & Russo Couture, Alicia Vikander In Louis Vuitton & Chiwetel Ejiofor In Burberry Tailoring

Best Dressed Of The Week - Kangana Ranaut In Ralph & Russo Couture, Alicia Vikander In Louis Vuitton & Chiwetel Ejiofor In Burberry Tailoring

Kangana Ranaut was the clear favourite last week, as she swept the competition away with her Ralph & Russo Couture fit-for-a-queen gown.

I, on the other hand, was blown away by the elegance of Alicia Vikander in Louis Vuitton.

What was costumey to some, was utterly charming to me.

You may be surprised by this considering a. Elizabeth Banks was on the poll and b. my strong feelings towards Louis Vuitton; but in Alicia Vikander is perhaps the one ambassador for the brand who doesn’t bore me.

Chiwetel Ejiofor held off David Gandy and Jake Gyllenhaal to take home the menswear prize in Burberry Tailoring.

Kangana Ranaut In Prabal Gurung & Ralph & Russo Couture – ‘Queen’ Paris Premiere

Kangana Ranaut In Prabal Gurung & Ralph & Russo Couture - 'Queen' Paris Premiere

Kangana Ranaut was in Paris, France for the premiere of her new film, ‘Queen’, where she showcased two looks for the photocall and premiere.

Photocall: The actress kick started her day wearing a power-modern suit featuring a punchy print by Prabal Gurung. I love how the mood is vibrant and confident, but it’s the red pumps which really lift my heart.

Premiere: Looking like a totally different person, Kangana took things to a whole new level when she donned this breath-taking Ralph & Russo Fall 2015 Couture creation for the premiere. Not your classic princess gown, this dramatic piece packs an almighty powerful punch as she upheld incandescent wonder while gliding down the red carpet.

Paz Vega In Ralph & Russo Couture – ‘Everest’ Venice Film Festival Premiere & Opening Ceremony

Paz Vega In Ralph & Russo Couture - 'Everest' Venice Film Festival Premiere & Opening Ceremony

Paz Vega attended the ‘Everest’ premiere which was part of the opening ceremony of the 2015 Venice Film Festival on Wednesday (September 2).

Ralph & Russo dominated Cannes Film Festival, and on sight of this majestic pale grey halter gown with glass bead and pearl droplet embellishments, I hope they’re on course to do it again.

I’m all for a princess moment, especially during a European film festival, but the removal of the tulle train took this look to another level; from romantic to femme fatale.

So far, this is so much better than Cannes.
