‘The Killing Of A Sacred Deer’ Cannes Film Festival Premiere Red Carpet Roundup

The Cannes Film Festival premiere of ‘The Killing Of A Sacred Deer’ brought more lovelies to the red carpet on Monday (May 22).

Jourdan Dunn: Jourdan was not ready to give up her sheer ambition yet, after her see-through jumpsuit moment. This Elie Saab Spring 2017 Couture gown was an improvement, as it did resonate with a sense of romantic enchantment in its gilded embroidery. The non-butt-cheek-baring bodysuit also worked in its favour.

Izabel Goulart: I love the subtle lustrous tone of this white Ralph & Russo Couture embellished gown along with its streamlined silhouette that glided over Izabel’s statuesque figure.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan In Ralph & Russo Couture – ‘120 Beats Per Minute’ Cannes Film Festival Premiere

Ralph & Russo reigned supreme on the ‘120 Beats Per Minute (120 Battements Par Minute)’ premiere with the queen of Cannes, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, closing her Cannes Film Festival red carpet appearances with a bang.

I’m sure comparisons will be made with Araya’s frothy confection, but this red strapless flamenco-inspired Couture masterpiece stands alone.

Predictably romantic and magical in its style and stature, I love that she opted for a deep rouge lip when cherry red would’ve been so clique.

I hope the fairytale adventure she took us on will live on even after her departure.

Arizona Muse In Ralph & Russo Couture – ‘120 Beats Per Minute’ Cannes Film Festival Premiere

Following the Chopard party last night, Arizona Muse was back on the red carpet during the 2017 Cannes Film Festival this evening (May 20) for the ‘120 Beats Per Minute (120 Battements Par Minute)’ premiere.

High-low gowns are often a hard sell, but when you have legs like Arizona and a beautiful gown like this Ralph & Russo Spring 2017 Couture design things should be plain sailing.

Unfortunately the accessories took the shine off this look for me.

I could’ve got on board with the white pumps, but the pumps with the white gold and titanium Chopard necklace featuring blue sapphires didn’t gel well for me.

Chopard Space Party

Galactic with a touch of diamonds was said to be the dress code of the Chopard SPACE Party, co-hosted by Rihanna, during the 2017 Cannes Film Festival on Friday (May 19), and the stars in attendance indeed delivered a constellation of looks appropriately dusted with Chopard jewels.

Bella Hadid: Lest you think Bella had turned a corner with a newly modest style after the ‘Okja’ premiere, her Roberto Cavalli Couture slit-to-thigh gown promptly signaled her return to the leg jut. But, it was necessary to show off her custom-made Rene Caovilla gladiator sandals. I always find satin a challenging fabric, and that was evidenced here. Futuristically winged eyeliner finished the look.

Adriana Lima: Looking impossibly regal, Adriana struck a divine note in this Reem Acra Spring 2018 Bridal gown that would never be confused for a wedding dress. I was in awe of the glamour that exuded form the embellished top and dramatic, caped split sleeve.

Kendall Jenner: I love the sculptural mood of this shimmering Ralph & Russo Spring 2017 Couture design that could certainly pass for space-age sophistication.

Lily Collins In Ralph & Russo Couture – ‘Okja’ Cannes Film Festival Premiere

For those of you who weren’t excited by Lily Collins’ photocall look, I’m sure you’ll be blown away by the Ralph & Russo Spring 2017 Couture gown she wore to the ‘Okja’ Cannes Film Festival premiere this evening (May 19).

I mean, who wouldn’t be charmed by the layers of lightweight silk chiffon which adds an ethereal spirit to this bright white floor-length, lightly embellished gown?

Factor in that stunning necklace, smoldering cat eyes and we have a BDOTY contender.

Do you agree?

Rihanna In Ralph & Russo Couture – Chopard x Rihanna Dinner Party

Rihanna co-hosted a dinner party to celebrate the Rihanna ♥ Chopard Haute Joaillerie Collection during Cannes Film Festival on Thursday (May 18).

If you are anything like me, you would’ve been surprised to see Rihanna in this custom Ralph & Russo Couture tailored strapless gown featuring a black tulle overcoat.

Why?

Because it showcases a non over-the-top, soft, yet sultry side to Rihanna’s style we don’t see too often.

This is a gown which befits the grand occasion – something I love to see a Cannes – plus it possesses a regal quality, serving as a perfect backdrop to showcase those stunning Rihanna ♥ Chopard Haute Joaillerie Collection pieces.
