Blake Lively In Ralph Lauren – Careers In Film Workshop

Blake Lively In Ralph Lauren - Careers In Film Workshop

Blake Lively was one of the guest speakers at the Careers in Film workshop on Friday, an event hosted by the First Lady, Michelle Obama, in the White House’s East Room in Washington D.C.

The actress wore a look from the ballerina-inspired Ralph Lauren Resort 2014 collection. Staying true to the original styling, Blake wore the black silk dress with its matching long-sleeved leather jacket, but swapped the black shoes (as seen on the runway) for a pair of gold Christian Louboutin pumps with black polka dots.

She complemented her dark dress with fresh-faced makeup and a sleek ponytail.

While she didn’t necessarily abstain from showing some skin — at a film symposium held for high school students at the White House, no less — I think she executed the look in a very tasteful, polished way.

Sheryl Crow In Ralph Lauren – 2013 CMA Awards

Sheryl Crow In Ralph Lauren - 2013 CMA Awards

Sheryl Crow joined other legends in country music, including Faith Hill, Carrie Underwood and Taylor Swift, for the 47th annual CMA Awards held at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee yesterday evening.

For this well-dressed event the singer wore a Ralph Lauren Fall 2012 black halter gown with a simple silhouette and an embellished neckline.

Opting for a big bouffant ‘do (this is a country event, after all), she styled her look with gold jewels including a large ruby-stone ring.

Princess Charlene of Monaco In Ralph Lauren – 2013 Princess Grace Awards Gala

Princess Charlene of Monaco In Ralph Lauren - 2013 Princess Grace Awards Gala

Princess Charlene of Monaco continued her current love affair for all things Ralph Lauren at the 2013 Princess Grace Awards Gala at Cipriani 42nd Street in New York City yesterday evening.

This time she wore a high-neck dark-green taffeta gown from the Fall 2013 collection which recalls classic Hollywood glamour.

I know many of you are continually baffled by her showcasing her shoulders, but I love her stance that she earned them from her days as a professional swimmer.

It’s not Charlene’s style to opt for too much adornment; here she selects just a diamond-encrusted bracelet, with glossy lips and swept-back tresses completing her look.

Ralph Lauren’s Screening Of Hitchcock’s ‘To Catch A Thief’ Celebrating The Princess Grace Foundation

Ralph Lauren's Screening Of Hitchcock's 'To Catch A Thief' Celebrating The Princess Grace Foundation

Last night, Ralph Lauren hosted a special screening of Alfred Hitchcock’s ‘To Catch A Thief’ at the Museum of Modern Art in New York City. The event, which was held to celebrate The Princess Grace Foundation, drew a crowd peppered with actresses, models, and one royal daughter-in-law.

Princess Charlene of Monaco: There to represent the Monegasque royal family, Princess Charlene of Monaco stunned in a strapless white jumpsuit by Ralph Lauren. While the structured bodice, skinny waist belt, and wide-leg silhouette gave off a distinct ’70s vibe, her minimalist take elsewhere (accessories, makeup, and slicked-back hair) kept the whole look decidedly polished.

Toni Collette: The Australian actress covered up in a black Ralph Lauren turtleneck dress, which also featured long sleeves and a below-the-knee hemline. Perhaps, to offset the conservative dress choice, she wore black cutout booties and styled it all with a gold, textured Louis Vuitton ‘Limelight’ clutch and mussed-up waves.

Coco Rocha: The model — who also donned Ralph Lauren for the evening’s festivities — went with an outfit straight from the designer’s Fall 2013 runway. The look included a white Victorian ruffle-front and puffed-sleeve blouse, high-waisted black sailor pants, and black pumps.

Camilla Belle In Ralph Lauren – CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Event

Camilla Bella in Ralph Lauren - CFDA Vogue Fashion Fund Event

Camilla Belle was also among the pretty, bright young things at the 2013 CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund event, presented by theCorner.com, at the Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles, California on Wednesday afternoon.

The actress certainly captured attention in her bold, lime-green Ralph Lauren skater frock that was quite delightful.

She paired the dress with a contrasting aqua Rebecca Minkoff ‘Coco’ clutch and several rows of bangles.

Her choppy bob added a youthful, casual vibe. Not so for those uninspiring, plain pumps. I cannot help but wonder if different shoes and a more done ‘do would have further polished the look.

Do you like her statement or is the styling a letdown?

Princess Charlene of Monaco In Ralph Lauren – Ralph Lauren Dinner

Princess Charlene of Monaco In Ralph Lauren - Ralph Lauren Dinner

Ralph Lauren hosted an exclusive viewing of his Fall 2013 collection and a private black-tie dinner in celebration of the patron sponsorship and commitment to a 2-year restoration program of L’Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Paris, France yesterday evening.

Princess Charlene of Monaco looked breathtaking wearing a custom bi-colour purple strapless Ralph Lauren gown inspired by the Fall 2013 collection which featured a flattering fitted bodice and a voluminous floor-length skirt.

Wearing opulent jewels – as every princess should – she styled the rest of the look with a purple clutch to match her gown and flawless makeup.

On previous occasions I have loved her dress but haven’t been too enamoured with her hair styling, but at this slightly longer length she’s able to play with her hair more and create this sweeping updo.
