Johnny Depp Loves Double RL Ralph Lauren Stripe Suits

On Saturday, Johnny Depp attended ‘The Lone Ranger’ LA premiere wearing a Double RL by Ralph Lauren navy pinstripe suit.

Much like Jennifer Lawrence and Marion Cotillard for Dior, Johnny appears to be sticking to one brand during his promo tour.

On Monday, he joined Tom Cruise in celebrating the unveiling of Jerry Bruckheimer’s star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame wearing a Double RL brown striped 3-piece suit with a brown shirt.

On Tuesday, he opted for yet another brown striped Double RL suit, this time of the double-breasted variety styled with a white shirt, while making a guest appearance on Letterman.

Three looks in, does Johnny need to change his red carpet MO, or is your belief much like Johnny’s “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it”?

Armie Hammer In Tom Ford & Johnny Depp In Ralph Lauren - 'The Lone Ranger' LA Premiere

Here is a look at Armie Hammer’s and Johnny Depp’s outfits, which they wore on the red carpet for the ‘Lone Ranger’ LA premiere on Saturday evening.

Armie Hammer: Of course, the handsome actor, wearing a pale pink Tom Ford linen suit, was the first to catch my eye. Finally, there is an actor who is not afraid to step out of the narrow, black, grey and navy box. As they say, ‘real men wear pink,’ and while that usually stops at a pink shirt, I have to say I love this pink perfect-for-summer suit styled with a white dress shirt and maroon tie.

Johnny Depp: I like that the actor scrubbed up on this occasion as he often looks like he just stepped off the set of ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’. He wore a smart Ralph Lauren pinstriped navy three-piece suit. Signature styling of tinted sunglasses, a pendant necklace, and key chain adornment completed his look.

Henry Cavill In Ralph Lauren - Man of Steel Madrid Premiere

With Amy Adams spotted back stateside, it’s left to the guys to continue promoting ‘Man of Steel’.

Henry Cavill was joined by Russell Crowe – who stars as his dad in the movie – at the Capital Cinema in Madrid, Spain on Monday evening for the premiere of the movie they call ‘El Hombre de Acero’.

Once again, I find myself more attracted to Henry’s handsome good looks than his suit.

Opting for another three-piece look, his Ralph Lauren Purple Label charcoal suit was styled with a purple shirt and purple knit tie; I find myself once again bothered by the waistcoat.

And that is not my only issue: the pants and blazers are in different shades of grey, but that could be intentional or bad lighting.

Either way, I’m only liking this from the breastbone up. So far, I sadly haven’t been too enamoured with Henry’s run on this promo tour.

He still has time to pull it back with Shanghai, Sydney and South America yet to conquer.

Nicole Kidman in Christian Dior Couture was your eventual winner for Best Dressed this week.

The Cannes Film Festival juror blew us all away with her natural elegance, wearing the strapless floral dress with coral Dior shoes.

For the men we had different opinions. You guys just can’t get enough of the ruggedly handsome Chris Pine and his love of Ralph Lauren suits. The styling of his suit was very commendable; however, I opted for the boyishly handsome Jamie Redknapp.

The former soccer player opted for a classic suit and bow tie by Thom Sweeney. The suit fit to perfection, and you know I have a weakness for handsome men in three-piece suits.

Nina Dobrev’s Monique Lhuillier Met Gala look was your best dressed this week.

Even though you guys didn’t rate her, Amber Heard in Emilio Pucci was my best dressed this week by a very long mile.

Between the colour, the embellishments, impeccable styling and that sexy open back, I was hooked.

When it came to the guys, it was a two-horse race between Eddie Redmayne and Chris Pine. Eventually, Chris won for his very dapper Ralph Lauren pinstripe three-piece suit.
