Louise Roe In Polo Ralph Lauren – ‘Front Roe: How To Be The Leading Lady In Your Own Life’ Book Launch

Louise Roe In Polo Ralph Lauren - ‘Front Roe How To Be The Leading Lady In Your Own Life’ Book Launch

Ralph Lauren hosted an event to celebrate the book launch of ‘Front Roe: How To Be The Leading Lady In Your Own Life’ by Louise Roe, at the Ralph Lauren Flagship New Bond Street Store in London last night (April 1).

The British fashion journalist, TV host and makeover guru, who we often see on the red carpet in breath-taking ballgowns, wore chic Polo Ralph Lauren separates which pack a mighty punch.

On paper, a camel cable knit sweater with a satin red ball skirt may not seem so appealing, but Louise, who regularly showcases her style on her own fashion and lifestyle blog, Front Roe, blows me away with this look.

I love how elegantly she pulls off this it’s-my-party statement look with flawless makeup and tousled lob rounding things off quite nicely.

In addition to the group of lovelies at the ‘Insurgent’ New York premiere, the guys were out in force at the Ziegfeld Theater on Monday (March 16) in New York City.

Miles Teller: Looking ever so dapper, the actor wore a Ralph Lauren Purple Label three-piece blue suit with a patterned tie and contrasting Christian Louboutin shoes. While the silhouette is a more formal one, the suit’s slight denim look keeps it fresh and youthful—and perfect for Miles.

Theo James: Also going the three-piece route, Theo made a less impressive effort, as I found his dark brown Dolce & Gabbana suit, buttoned-up vest, and navy satin tie to be more prom-appropriate than red-carpet-ready.

Ansel Elgort: I have to applaud this young stud for breaking out of the sartorial norm with his likewise denim-inspired Prada suit with exposed, visible stitching. Paired with a midnight-navy tie and lighter-blue shirt, it was a mod statement look that he certainly worked to his advantage.

Shailene Woodley In Ralph Lauren – ‘Insurgent’ New York Premiere

Shailene Woodley In Ralph Lauren - 'Insurgent' New York Premiere

Shailene Woodley stood alongside Zoe Kravitz and Ashley Judd at the ‘Insurgent’ New York premiere at Ziegfeld Theater on Monday (March 16) in New York City.

She donned a Ralph Lauren Fall 2015 black dress—a sharply tailored, tuxedo-inspired design that was very much in keeping with her more straightforward, minimalistic aesthetic.

The statuesque actress can easily pull off a plunge silhouette and leggy, front slit, but the overall effect just didn’t feel quite special enough for the occasion.

And, yet again, her lacklustre hair also is putting me off fully appreciating the look, as it appears unfinished.

Shailene Woodley attended the world premiere of ‘Insurgent’ held at Odeon Leicester Square on Wednesday (March 11) in London, England.

The actress took the minimalist approach to red carpet evening dressing wearing a clean-cut Ralph Lauren Collection dress detailed with an open back and striped sleeves which successfully marries elegance with contemporary edginess.

Some might have expected more for a world premiere, but Shailene – known for her tomboy style – decided to write her own rules for enchanting evening wear.

Mollie King In Ralph Lauren – 2015 Elle Style Awards

Mollie King In Ralph Lauren - 2015 Elle Style Awards

Mollie King attended the 2015 Elle Style Awards on Tuesday (February 24) in London, England.

The Saturdays singer wore a green Ralph Lauren gown that for me was lacking in finesse with pulls around the waist and skirt.

Mollie’s presentation isn’t selling this look to me either. Is a wet-look hairstyle with greasy-looking roots – apparently a trend picked up from Louise Roe – supposed to be modern?

If so, I just don’t get it.
