Bergdorf Goodman

The biggest stars took to the stores here in New York for the biggest Fashion night out the world has ever seen.

My chin hit the floor when I saw Victoria Beckham - not all for good reasons.

Firstly she was not wearing a black pencil dress - SHOCKER.

Secondly she wasn’t wearing black period - minus her thigh high Gucci Fall 2009 boots.

Thirdly the dress wasn’t from her collection and lastly WOW.

Where did this woman come from? This isn’t slightly tedious VB we have been looking at for the last six months.

This is someone who wanted to shake off the boring tag and shock us all.

And she did.

Unfortunately I really didn’t like make-up, and I didn’t understand why she wore such an edgy look with a headband.

On the positive side I did like her modified Giles Fall 2009 reptile print strapless dress.

I don’t like to talk about weight on my blog, it’s number no no. But I’m sure many of you will debate her weight because she is looking a tad gaunt.

Oscar de la Renta Boutique

Sarah Jessica Parker wore her ‘Fashion’s Night Out’ tee with pride pairing it with a taffeta Oscar de la Renta asymmetrical skirt, and a black belt encrusted with diamante’s on the buckle.

I love the way she styled the tee.

Anna Wintour who organised this FNO event, showed her support for the cause by wearing the campaign t-shirt like SJP.

She paired the tee with a colour co-ordinating Prada Spring 2009 pencil skirt.

Ralph Lauren Women’s Boutique

Blake Lively turned down the sex kitten for a country chic head-to-toe Ralph Lauren look, wearing a grey embellished blouse with tweed vest and tan crocodile boots.

Camilla Belle - also in head-to-toe Ralph Lauren - went for a sexy chic look wearing a luxurious Pre-Fall 2009 grey wool one-shoulder dress with a pink crocodile belt, brown sandals.

I’m not so sure I like the longer hair, but her dress is spectacular on her.

Bloomingdale’s 59th Street Store

Lindsay Lohan wore an Emanuel Ungaro Spring 2009 Caribbean blue shirt as shirtdress paired with leggings, sky high heeled ankle boots and a trilby hat.

Macy’s Herald Square

Debra Messing looked fabulous wearing a one-sleeved charcoal Michael Kors Fall 2009 herringbone origami dress.

I love the thinner belt she wore with the dress, and the sculptured shoulder.

Vogue Pop Up Boutique at Macy’s Queens

Across town Kate Hudson was also wearing a dress from the Michael Kors Fall 2009 collection.

Her espresso check strapless dress also had origami details on the bodice.

Giuseppe Zanotti Boutique

Channeling her inner Grace Jones, Rihanna looked fierce sporting a hooded Alexander Wang cowl-neck mini dress with a pair of studded sunglasses at night, and Giuseppe Zanotti boots.

Dior Boutique

Charlize Theron was of course on hand to provide the star power to the Dior Boutique.

The actress looked outstanding from her perfectly coiffed hair to her Dior heels.

I just love her silvery blue Dior strapless dress. Hollywood glamour at its very finest.

Victoria’s Secret Lexington Store

Miranda Kerr looked uber cute wearing a colour blocking Stella McCartney Pre-Fall 2009 dress we have previously seen on Kate Walsh.

On one of her rare days not wearing Herve Leger dresses Heidi Montag wore this adorable floral Ralph Lauren Spring 2008 strapless tiered dress to the 134th Kentucky Derby in Louisville last May.

As much as I loved the dress, I adore the large fuschia hat even more.

This is one of the rare times when head-to-toe I’ve loved what the reality TV star has worn.

British model Poppy Delevigne wore the same dress recently when she attended “The Veuve Clicquot Gold Cup Final” in Midhurst, England.

Her pretty dress was paired with a biker leather jacket, a large black belt, gold gladiators and a cream clutch.

I love Poppy’s accessories, but I really hate the leather jacket so Heidi wins this for me.

Cheryl Cole made a fashion statement on her 26th birthday by wearing a risqué Alexander McQueen dress.

Whilst out and about in LA this week she made a different kind of statement with her Ralph Lauren Fashion Targets Breast Cancer Polo Shirt. The statement was she supports this worthy cause.

Ditching tennis whites in favour of a far more glamorous look, Serena Williams attended the “Ralph Lauren/Sony Ericsson pre-Wimbledon Party” hosted by Richard Branson last week.

The star wore dazzling gold sequined harem trousers with a white tank from Ralph Lauren’s Spring 2009 collection, teamed with gold peep-toes and complementary gold jewelery.

Fashion presenter and journalist Louise Roe arrived at the “Leap Anywhere” Launch Party in London last week wearing the same Ralph Lauren harem pants with a black silk top, black gladiators and a leather jacket.

I much preferred the way Louise wore the pants lower on her hips - as they were intended - so she wins for me.

Wimbledon starts next week, and as much as I love the tournament there’s one thing that’s guaranteed for the next two weeks…rain.

This isn’t such a bag thing as I can blog between rain delays.

Venus and Serena Williams are both in London and tonight they attended a party held at the Kensington Roof Gardens for the Women’s Tennis Association.

Serena wore a crisp white tank top with a pair of Ralph Lauren sequined harem pants from the Spring 2009 collection, with the same runway low slung belt and gold ankle strap heels.

Sister Venus opted for a very elegant dress with a pussy bow collar. Her beige dress is also from the Spring 2009 collection, but was presented as a sleeveless blouse.

Strappy gold heels completed the look and her hair was styled into a classy updo.

This has to be the best I have seen the sisters look in a long while. They both normally over do it and try to look like barbie dolls, but here they both look beautiful and elegant.

Kim Nam Joo works an ultra-girly look, wearing a white ensemble from Ralph Lauren’s Spring 2008 collection.

Her white satin blouse, is worn with a gorgeous tiered feathered skirt, which is so floaty and dreamy.

This pristine look is complemented with silver strappy sandals, and a silver embellished clutch.

Très chic.

Lee Yo Won also opted for neutral colours, wearing a champagne coloured halter top with a bow, paired with white pants from Ralph Lauren’s Spring 2009 collection.

Like Kim’s look, Lee gives me that summer time feeling, which it’s so refreshing to see on the red carpet, and much preferable to black.

Ko So-young’s opted for this bold purple strapless Ralph Lauren Spring 2008 dress, with a black trim.

The fitted dress, which gives her a stunning silhouette, was partnered with black strappy heels, a black jeweled clutch, a stunning silver cuff.

Lee Hye Young shimmered with enchantment, wearing a strapless gold Ralph Lauren dress, with exquisite embroidered details.

Her look was completed with a gold strappy heels, a dark grey embellished clutch, and a black leather belt.

Five-time Wimbledon Champion Venus Williams, wore this white and purple striped Ralph Lauren Spring 2008 blazer, under a Ralph Lauren purple taffeta gown, when she arrived with her trophy at the Champions’ Ball in London back in July.

Blake Lively was spotted on set of Gossip Girl yesterday afternoon, film scenes for the upcoming season wearing the same blazer.

The actress wore her blazer with a white plunge-neck top, dark wash jeans and a pair of knee-length boots.

The blazer very much suits the preppy look that the wardrobe department at Gossip Girl no doubt had in mind for Blake’s Serena van der Woodsen character, but I love the Venus’ blazer/gown combo, so she wins for me.
