2012 Art of Elysium Heaven Gala Red Carpet Round Up

Here are the rest of the looks from the 2012 Art of Elysium Heaven Gala.

Jennifer Morrison: The ‘Once Upon A Time’ actress wore a Kaufmanfranco Fall 2011 gown. Her sexy black gown had a high neckline, but plunged very low at the back. A low ponytail and a black karung Ferragamo minaudière completed her look.

Abigail Spencer: The ‘Cowboys and Aliens’ actress wore a Lela Rose black gown with sparkling crystal embellishments. She added Marina B jewels and gothic-like makeup. I like that she tried something different makeup wise, but I find it too dark and heavy.

Amy Smart In Rachel Roy – 2011 Environmental Media Awards

Amy Smart joined Nicole Richie on the red carpet at the 2011 Environmental Media Awards which took place in LA this weekend.

She wore a Rachel Roy sleeveless white dress with a black print.

The dress isn’t particularly flattering to begin with, but matters are made worse with her choice of accessories.

Black Giuseppe Zanotti booties and a white Jimmy Choo clutch are devastatingly bad choices, especially the booties.

What was she thinking?

The boots shorten her legs plus they don’t complement her dress at all.

Maria Francesca Pepe jewels and a coral lip colour completed her look.

Serena Williams In Rachel Roy – 2011 ESPY Awards

Too Much Boobage Award
After throwing a pre-party for this event, Serena Williams attended the 2011 ESPY Awards last night.

The tennis ace opted to wear a hot pink Rachel Roy ‘Orchid’ jacket dress which immediately made me think of ‘Samantha Jones’ from SATC.

I adore the colour, but the whole look feels so heavy.

Why anyone would want to wear a long sleeve jacket dress in 100 degree weather will remain a mystery to me.

Her shoes are just OK, but that statement necklace and the boobage kill this look for me.

If she thought the necklace was going to distract us from her cleavage she was wrong.

Gwyneth Paltrow In Rachel Roy – “My Father’s Daughter” Book Signing

Gwyneth Paltrow still loves her edgy heels with a minimalist dress look which works so well for her.

She added a bright pop of colour to her look yesterday at Williams-Sonoma in Beverly Hills for the signing of her new cookbook, “My Father’s Daughter.”

This is a bolder hue than we’re used to seeing from Gwyneth, but I love it.

She works the bright block colour Spring trend with this figure-hugging short sleeve satin pencil Rachel Roy dress which is surprisingly below the knee.

Spunky Camilla Skovgaard platinum sandals, a Giles & Brother necklace and big bouncy hair completed her look.

Gwyneth’s second look, which she wore for her appearance on the ‘Ellen DeGeneres Show’ was a much simpler LWD by Yigal Azrouel.

Her black strappy Jimmy Choo ‘Eramus’ sandals and perforated belt added the edge to this look.

I love that Gwynie is constantly giving us amazing footwear on the red carpet when most stars stick to the same two pairs of pumps.

Jennifer Garner In Rachel Roy – “Late Night On Jimmy Fallon”

Jennifer Garner made a guest appearance on “Late Night With Jimmy Fallon” last night, where she talked about her kids, husband Ben Affleck, and her new movie “Arthur.”

Something tells me that Jen should’ve worn this Rachel Roy Spring 2011 dress to the “Arthur” New York Premiere the night before.

Her Rachel Roy bedazzling dress would’ve lit up the red carpet, but she chose it for her TV appearance instead.

The actress sported wavy locks, Cartier jewels and the same triple platform Casadei pumps she wore to the premiere.

Would you have preferred this Rachel Roy dress for the premiere?

Olivia Palermo In Rachel Roy – Runway To Green Event

Olivia Palermo was at Christie’s in New York City last night to attend the ‘Green Auction: A Bid To Save The Earth’ featuring a ‘Runway to Green’ fashion show which was supported by Net-A-Porter.com.

I’m usually a huge fan of what Olivia wears, but on this occasion her styling isn’t as impeccable as we’ve come to expect from her.

She wore a long sleeve Rachel Roy Pre-Fall 2011 feather and beaded embellished top, with a pleated marble print Marios for Topshop pleated skirt .

As much as she tried, the two pieces don’t work together.

I applaud Olivia for always bring the high street to the red carpet, but it doesn’t work on this occasion.

There is so much detail on the top that a solid skirt would’ve worked better. It might be the safer and less interesting option, but I would’ve preferred it to what’s currently going on here.
