Red Carpet Fashion Awards

De Ja Vu Dress Award
Cat Deeley may have been one of of the oldest stars to walk the red carpet at the 2010 Teen Choice Awards last night, but she held her own against the kids.

The British TV presenter wore a very familiar Preen asymmetrical dress from the Resort 2010 collection.

Her white hot one shoulder bandage dress has a lace-up shoulder, pleated tulip skirt and gold exposed zip at back. This dress was paired with matching cut-out heels.

Neon pink toe nail varnish, multi-coloured bracelets and an aqua blue Jimmy Choo Candy acrylic clutch were the pops of colour added to inject a spark to her look.

Unfortunately the colour pops feel overloaded and too contrived.

Just one pop would’ve sufficed.

The 2010 Teen Choice Awards airs on FOX today at 8:00-10:00 PM (ET/PT).

If you’re wondering why I’ve been blogging so much today, it’s because I’m going on vacation for a week tomorrow.

Before I go off and pack my suitcase, I had to bring you Blake Lively.

My girl looked stunning on the red carpet prior to the panel discussion for her new movie “Green Lantern”, which took place during the 2010 Comic-Con convention in San Diego.

Some people have slammed Blake for showing off too much breast in this Preen Resort 2011 look.

I say what’s the big deal?

If Lady GaGa can get away with walking around in her bra and panties, why is Blake’s cleavage so offensive?

The only person who should be bothered is Mrs Reynolds aka Scarlett Johansson.

Blake’s ensemble consisted of a white cropped top and black silk rolled up pants.

With a belt tied around her high-waisted pants she teamed her look with black and white striped sandals, green drop earrings and a selection of bangles.

For a girl who loves mini dresses, this is very different for Blake and I totally appreciate this look.

It’s not often we see her wearing pants on the red carpet.

You’ve asked her to make a decision to opt for boobs or legs.

She choose the former.

Now that the LA premiere for “Twilight” is over, the cast are either promoting the movie overseas or working on other projects.

Ashley Greene is in Madrid promoting “Twilight”, whilst Taylor Lautner was on the “Today Show” in New York this morning also promoting the movie.

Kristen Stewart was at the LA Film Festival this weekend, as she’s already moved onto the next project – hence her not being available to attend the London “Twilight” premiere on Thursday.

Her new movie “Welcome to the Rileys” is an upcoming American independent drama film in which Kristen plays ‘Mallory’ a trouble young girl.

At the premiere she wore yet another Fall 2010 black dress, but this one wasn’t strapless.

Her haltered Preen Fall 2010 dress has lace straps and a gathered detail on the skirt which looks really bunched up on Kristen.

Jimmy Choo black peep-toes as standard.

I do like this look because I think Kristen should explore more brands like Preen, Elise Overland, Doo.Ri, Vena Cava and Proenza Schouler and leave the fluffy girlie dresses to Dakota Fanning, Anna Kendrick etc.

Actress Marisa Tomei looked stunning as she took the the red carpet for the BAMcinemaFEST Opening Night in New York last night.

Some of you haven’t been blown away by the Preen Fall 2010 collection off the runway, as you’ve thought that both Rachel Bilson and Kate Bosworth haven’t done the collection much justice on the red carpet.

Marisa kept her floral strapless Preen Fall 2010 dress simple and pretty by just adding satin grey Bally pumps and a pewter clutch.

I love this look on her. From her carefree curls, to her dress to her accessories.

Do you likey?

Kate Bosworth was one of the many stars to walk the red carpet at HBO’s “True Blood” Season 3 Premiere in LA last night.

The gorgeous blonde opted of a Preen Fall 2010 dress which had been style differently from the runway.

Her version was sleeveless with bra-like straps.

I like both versions, but I think I would’ve loved Kate’s look more had the bikini-like bandeau part been all yellow rather than a print.

Other than that I really like this look.

Pointy pumps, a black clutch and stunning gold Samantha Wills earrings complete the look.

Rachel Bilson attended the Gen Art Film Festival screening of her new movie “Waiting for Forever” last night in New York.

The actress walked the red carpet wearing a white Preen Fall 2010 bustier dress with a keyhole cut-out and a tiered asymmetrical skirt which wrapped around her dress.

I love the dress, but I much prefer the runway version because of the nude colour plus it’s strapless.

I would like to give Rachel a 10 out of 10 for this look, but as usual she fails to present herself differently to the daily paparazzi shots we see daily on JustJared.

Her hair and make-up are what we’re see everyday. I really hope next time out she does something new and refreshing.

Brian Atwood heels completed her look.
